GoogleWe are overall really pleased with Move in Residential. Rachel was great and she kept us informed of everything via email and also called us. Every question we had she answered it immediately and we felt heard and appreciated. However, although its not part of Move In, they recommended lawyers to work with and the experience with them was terrible. I have told Rachel that we were not pleased at all with the lawyers and recommended for Move In to work with another law firm.

TrustpilotThey are a bidding estate…
They are a bidding estate agents.....young lods that want a rip off....dont answer phones or mail....you might get an offer accepted but that doesnt mean anything, they keep the property on the market till a higher bidder comes in. At least this is what George and his team does in Wirral. Avoid them!

GoogleI highly recommend Move Residential. They are a wonderful team who handled the sale of my house with great professionalism. I had contacted other estate agents before them, but as soon as I met Michael, I knew I would be in great hands with them. He came very prepared and answered all my questions. Everything went very smoothly and I was very satisfied with the valuation. I am very grateful to all the team. 10/10

TrustpilotTrustworthy & No Bullsh*t
I had an excellent experience selling and buying a house with Move Residential. Rob K was the reason I went with this company over the other estate agents around, and I was not disappointed. He did everything he said he would do which was really important to me. I felt like there was trust and no bullsh*t with him. He seemed to really care about me as a customer and really helped me through each stage. Anthony was also amazing as he supported me through the process. I would highly recommend Move Res, specifically because of these 2 people.

can’t recommend David Goulding highly enough. From our very first conversation, David was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward and manageable.

TrustpilotKevin the owner THREATENS you.
Will update this review this week so it’s detailed. In the meantime, I’d advise sellers to avoid this company like the plague. The owner Kevin is absolutely disgusting and not had a great experience with David Rigby either. I’ve never ever been spoken to like a piece of dirt the way they have spoken to me. I have the FULL recording. I will post online for everyone to see as I have absolutely nothing to hide. In the meantime if you’d like to hear, my Instagram is rimmyxAbsolutely disgusting company!!!Edit: In response to your reply, Kevin 100% did threaten me and I’m so grateful I have that on record. Once I told him in that call that I had recorded everything his tune changed and I have that also. I hope everyone records their calls with you guys as I know you don’t like anything to be on emails or voicemails to protect yourself. I have never in my life been spoken to like a piece of garbage. Kevin is a disgusting man and I hope I never have to speak to him ever ever again. So passive aggressive and hostile. David Rigby is a smart rude man, makes sure nothing is recorded that’s why he just asks me to call him back. But I also recorded my call with him. If you are having a bad experience with these guys, don’t dare leave an honest review because they will discard you just like that. 2 months wasted (almost 3) they couldn’t even sell my property. Rubbish company and disgusting staff, god knows how they get away with it. It’s funny how many good reviews have suddenly been posted since my bad one (previously) not suspicious at all. Please do not use them, if you do, I wish you luck.

TrustpilotA reliable and thorough service
While I have experienced a difficult process due to the inconsistency of my buyers, Move Residential staff, particularly Antony, have been exemplary. They have consistently kept me updated and gone over and above to ensure that I had the best possibility of securing a sale. While this didn't work out for me this time as the property I was purchasing fell through and I have taken my property off the market, I will definitely use Move Residential when I am ready to sell again.

TrustpilotOutstanding Service
We sold the family home, having been recommended Move Residential in Allerton. From the valuation visit it was clear to see they knew the local market, what was achievable, given realistic time scales. They kept us informed on every step, and took care of the viewings. The offer came within a short space of time. The process to completion was in a realistic timescale. In a process like this, communication is key! Lee and the team have been outstanding throughout. I would have no hesitation recommending the Allerton team. Thanks, Steve Jones

TrustpilotPlease read before you make your decision of which agent to go with
I decided to go with Move Residential even though they were they most expensive to sell with, as I thought they were reputable. They advised of price - completed photos. We decided to go for a pre viewing to test the waters before it went live, as the agent advised he had 6 people wanting to view houses like mine in my area. My husband took time off work day beforehand to get straight, I had my children minded, got the house ready and prepped. NO-ONE arrived no agent no people ( I didn’t want to do the viewings ) I called the agents mobile- no answer , after an hour eventually I got through to the office , who knew absolutely nothing about the viewings and he only knew of maybe one person who maybe interested in our type of house!!!!! After the weekend I received a call from the agent advising he had left instructions and it was arranged but they were not followed up correctly ???? He then offered my half percentage reduction. (Still more expensive than anyone else) . I question why he said there was 6 people interested , was it all a sham to get me signed up with them??? My time , my husbands and logistics was challenging for us . How would I know if 6 people came ? I wasn’t doing the viewings. Please be very aware of what they are selling you !!!! Check everything !!!! My experience - untrustworthy .

TrustpilotFantastic service from Antony at the Heswell branch
I cannot fault Antony Holden from the Heswell branch. In fact he was an absolute legend throughout the process. We purchased our new home through Move Residentail and Antony literally guided us every step of the way. Our buyers had issues with their solicitors their mortgage amendments and if it wasn’t for Antony we wouldn’t have understood what was happening. Antony made the process stress free and literally cared. He is an asset to the company and I could not fault him one bit.

TrustpilotHighly recommended team
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the letting section of the Move Residential in Allerton Road, Liverpool. Over the last ten years I had a very positive experience with the property letting team particularly Hana and Pacey. They are professional and friendly. Their communication skills are excellent. As I often travel abroad the team has kept me informed on property maintenance, marketing and viewing. They always respond to my phone calls and emails quickly. Therefore the team can resolve any issues effectively without delay. I would like to thank the team for their dedication and valuable service.

TrustpilotShambles of an estate agent
What a complete shambles of an estate agent, spoke to them 2 days about viewing house in Liverpool, after the 3rd degree from them and saying they would need a guarantor as well( I'm a full time nurse on £26000 year) we made arrangements view today, she knew I lived in st Helens, waited 15 minutes, no one arrived, rang them and they said the property, with sorry or explanation why I wasn't informed as on looking at the property the pictures where manipulated as the house inside and out was a sh^$#hole. Terrible service. Terrible staff and a waste of fuel and time. DO NOT USE 😡😡😡

Hi Sean,
I’m very sorry to read your review, as this is not the level of service we aim to provide. I have checked our system and cannot find any record of anyone under your name having viewed a property with us recently. However, your experience concerns me as much as it concerns you, and I would really like to get to the bottom of this. TrustpilotNightmare when leaving property
We recently moved out of a property, and the leaving was really badly handled by move residential. When I handed my notice period in- no response. I rang and they said they had received it and would reply to me - still no reply. Then they put a board up outside to advertise the property was for letting which was then I knew they had accepted my notice. The house they put up was then advertised for an extra £125 a month rent than whet we were paying, and I know the landlord has no mortgage mortgage and the property was definitely not nice enough to be rented at the price they were asking for. As we were moving out over Christmas I got an email to say Offices were closed and to return the keys on 3rd January and we wouldn't be charged. I did hand the keys back on this date and had a voice message to say I would be charged for handing in the keys late. I rang her when I received the message to question this to which she said that she had gotten that wrong and realised I couldn't have handed keys back in as office's were closed. No apology for the incorrect information. They inspected the property when we left which I know is standard procedure. I then got told the landlord wanted the whole deposit. I questioned this, as when I moved in the property had been vacant for 18 months, and received a list of things that needed repairing. I challenged this as felt majority of it was unfair and when I moved I had to clean it. I got told was one of thejings eas they would need a professional team in to clean which is not the state I received the property on. Other things were the wooden floor had a change of colour, and this would need repairing, the cost of goods etc. I explained I knew the Landlords had spare boards in the cupboard and would do the work himself. A lot of the things I knew the landlord would repair himself or I could but they insisted they need contractors in and appeared to take the most expensive route with all repairs. The property was left cleaner than the state I got it in. I found move residential very unsupportive and just seemed to want the most money possible for the landlord. I felt scare tactics were used to just get rid of me and get my deposit. I was happy to go to the adjudicator but they wanted a new tenant in and I don't think this can happen until I was dealt with. In the end I agreed to some of the deposit but wished I hadn't. I never received an inventory either when I moved in which I would have added some of the issues on to it as their photos were very cleverly angled to not identify issues, so I had no evidence.I have since noticed the house now has new tenants in and the list of issues that apparently needed to be completed, I know now was a complete lie, as the list given to the time a new tenant has moved in these could never have been completed. If using these to let, just make sure you cover yourself, as when you move out they want your depositRESPONSEThanks move residential for your response. When looking through reviews, I am not the only person who has had this issue when leaving your agency and you taking deposits, so know I am not a one off case. I should be able to leave a review without your unprofessional response, which is inaccurate.1. All my concerns I highlighted to you when I was challenging my deposit. None of this is new.2. You say a Landlords personal finances should remain private, there was no way from my review that the landlord or property which I refer to could be identified, however, you reveal how much deposit you took!? Very unprofessional of you.3. The price of rent you are now asking for is unfair for that property and far too high. There are other people in the street renting houses in much better condition and much mor modern for much less. The doors in the house are the original doors from when the house was built, and the interior has not been updated in decades.4. You say an inventory was completed prior to us moving in. However, you failed to send me a copy until we moved out. As I said to you, there were issues I would have highlighted to you to add in, so we were covered when we left. This is standard practice and usually tenants get 7 days from when they move in to highlight issues with the property. You failed to do this. For example, the burn in the kitchen you refer to was already there, but due to the angle of your photos this could not be seen. I explained this would be an ongoing issue due to the poor layout of the kitchen as a pan oj the stove touches the wall, so this will be a reoccurring issue with all future tenants.5. You say I didn't leave the property in the state I got given it. Myself and 7 others spent hours cleaning that property when I moved in due to the uncleanliness as it was vacant for so long and full if smoke residue from the previous owner. Every time I spoke to you, you added new issues on that weren't originally an issue.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to review and improve on our services & are sorry to hear you weren’t completely satisfied with your move out experience. The current rental price is not based on a landlord’s personal finances which should remain private it’s based on market conditions, demand, & comparable properties. Part of our job as agents is to achieve the best possible price for our clients whilst ensuring potential tenants are suitable. As we find ourselves in a highly competitive market, with a shortage of available properties & an extremely high number of potential tenants this naturally increases the price, so whilst you may not feel that the property was worth more this view was not shared by the countless tenants that expressed their interest. When we listed the property, we had a fantastic response, securing multiple offers for the landlord to choose from, achieving a significantly higher rental price than it was previously let for. Prior to your move in a comprehensive inventory was recorded by a third-party company including a detailed description & images, to ensure an independent statement of condition was created to provide an accurate reference point to use as comparison when you vacated. Your deposit was also protected in the DPS scheme as per your contract. This scheme is set up to ensure there is a fair process if a dispute is to arise between a tenant & landlord. The deposit also provides protection in the event of breaches of tenancy.Your landlord does not share your perspective on how the property was returned & was disappointed with the condition, damage, & cleanliness, particularly the staining on the carpet & damage in the kitchen. This feedback was communicated to you as is our role & you agreed to a deduction from the deposit confirming this agreement independently via the DPS website, we believe this outcome was fair & reasonable due to the cost & time associated with additional cleaning & damages including the kitchen flooring & burn to the kitchen wall. We do not believe it is reasonable to expect a landlord to spend their personal time putting right damage caused by a tenant or to carry out cleaning for free because you chose not to leave a property in the same condition as you were provided it (subject to reasonable wear and tear which was accounted for) when compared to the independent inventory. As you are aware your deposit was held in a government backed scheme, the DPS who offer a completely free arbitration service if an agreement can’t be reached. You were provided with & signed for all their terms & conditions at the outset so understood this option was available to you however you chose to agree to a deduction. We do not gain in any way from any deposit claim made by a landlord; funds requested or awarded for damages or cleaning for example go to the landlord & pay towards these areas, we as agents communicate the information from both sides. Any deposit dispute or process does not prevent a property from being let, it is independent & solely based on the property condition when compared to how you were provided the property. We appreciate that it can be disappointing or frustrating when you do not receive your full deposit back & we sympathise with you however this deduction was solely due to the condition you left the property in. Not agreeing with your opinion on the condition is not a reflection of being unsupportive, it is a balanced view based on evidence provided by a third-party company & not us or the landlord, & experience of how the DPS view properties returned in a similar condition to yours. You had every opportunity to use the free adjudicator service but chose not to. We are confident however that had you chosen to do so you would have received a similar outcome. We hope this response has clarified the situation for you and we wish you all the best in the future with your new home.

Terrible communication when trying to book house viewings, despite emailing and calling several times. They make booking a viewing an extremely difficult task and do not keep you in the loop. The most unprofessional estate agents I have dealt with yet. We missed out on a potential house that we were keen on bidding for because of this incompetence, so I would think twice about using them to sell with.

Kostas from the Prenton Office and Antony from the Heswall Office have both been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our first time buying process 😀 From the 1st viewing up until and after picking up the keys only after 6 weeks, they have both been on hand to help us navigate the journey and with such friendly demeanor and professionalism. Whilst also navigating a stressful personal journey as well, both Kostas and Antony have been supportive and nothing was too much trouble for either of them. TrustpilotProfessionalism and a personal touch!
In a very congested market of estate agents, and after due diligence and consideration, my wife and chose Move Residential for their professionalism and personal approach and I truly commend their service. Alec our agent, was punctual, extremely professional, offering sound based advice from Move Residential’s vast market knowledge of the area and across the whole selling experience. Moving home can be a stressful part of anyone’s life, yet Alec managed a very difficult house negotiation with our buyers, this allowed things to progress on track to a satisfactory conclusion with such tight time constraints and forward life planning on the line for ourselves during the final week. The images of the property taken being realistic, reflecting a true appreciation which I believe, helped the selling process and avoided any time wasting of property views, which is a win when you lead very busy lives. If anyone is considering a sale of their property, and want a truly professional 5 star service, then my wife and I would recommend firstly going in to speak with Alec and the team and utilise their knowledge and experience, that initial consultation will save you time and alleviate any concerns you may have.Thank you once again!
