GoogleI would NOT recommend. From the start with the brochure it was all wrong. I had to tell them all of their mistakes.
The viewings all happened to be on a Friday afternoon and wouldn't show anymore once one offer had been made.
Whoever shown them peed on the toilet, didn't flush and left the seat up for the next viewings.
Terrible communication from start to finish, email replies didn't happen or took days and phone calls out of about 20 I made only one was ever answered, they also didn't get back to voicemails.
I'll never use these again. Go with purple bricks, much better.

GoogleIncredibly bad service. I’m currently renting an apartment via Jones & Chapman and can honestly say that their after service is non existent. I have sent countless emails to Eryn and Olivia whom I rented the apartment from and not one response. To say this company is rude, unprofessional and unresponsive is a massive understatement. I have multiple ongoing issues with the apartment that I rented following the sale of my property and not only have they not been resolved, but I’ve not even had a response. In a word, they’re just not ‘Interested’
I would urge those looking to rent from Jones & Chapman to reconsider as I’ve found their service completely unsatisfactory and Would never use them again in future for purchases or rentals of property. Avoid at all costs.

TrustpilotAvoid jones and chapman at all costs
Avoid jones and chapman at all costs. I was accepted to rent a property for me and my 2 children. Went through all security and financial checks and was accepted. Had 3 move in dates delayed at last minute because of safety checks failed on property, then waiting for paperwork. Each time I was assured It will definitely be this date and had to cancel van, people that were helping me move and taking time off work to move. On the final day that I was assured I would get my keys. Packed up my whole house. Waiting to sign contract. No contact with them. Phoned them and they said unfortunately the landlord has pulled out because they are not happy you need a guarantor. I had already been passed 2 weeks previously with a guarantor. Was basically homeless with my 2 young children. Jones and chapman apologised and said let me assure you we won't deal with these people again, which is no concelation. 2 days later the house is back up to let with Jones and chapman. Absolutely unscrupulous, disgraceful estate agents. Still haven't got my holding deposit back aswell

TrustpilotUnprofessional incompetent Agents
I tried contacting Jones & Chapman (Allerton Rd) on 28th and 29th March on a number of occasions only for the call to ring out to voicemail. After numerous attempts I finally got through to somebody on the 30th who advised that he was in the lettings department and couldn't assist but would pass my details on to the sales team to return my call. Having had no return call I called back on 1st April and spoke to a representative in the Sales department who was unable to answer any of my basic questions about the property. He advised that he was new and would obtain further information and return my call to advise further and also an appointment date to view the property. Having had no return call I called back again on 6th April and got through to the same person after several attempts. I was told the exact same information and it was apparent that no attempt had been made to contact the Vendor to arrange an appointment. He advised that he would now treat this as urgent and also escalate the viewing. Having still had no response I called back again on 11th April on 3 occasions reaching answer machine every time. I left an urgent message on their voicemail on the last occasion asking for the Manager to return my call. Needless to say 3 days later no response from anybody. I appreciate that I am not a Client and they have no obligation to me in terms of customer service but if this is how they are operating their business I would not instruct them to sell a property on my behalf. I am now contacting the Vendor direct.

TrustpilotI’d give no stars if I could
I’d give no stars if I could. I’m a cash buyer and have left numerous voicemails ( no one ever answers) emails, emails through right move and in fact right move themselves emailed them with my details too when I told them I can’t get through. I messaged their face book page- still nothing ! This has gone on for over a month. I’d never try and sell through them. There’s a property I’ve been trying to view for over a month !!

GoogleI am a buyer trying to arrange a viewing of a flat listed on Zoopla. So far despite my best efforts over the course of the past 2 weeks I have not received any contact in reply to numerous messages and calls. If I was a seller I wouldn't bother with these jokers for that reason alone.

TrustpilotDisgusting and Dishonest service
Tried FOUR TIMES to meet with one of their mortgage advisors just so we could get a viewing and they flaked out EVERY TIME, what a complete waste of time not to mention money we spent on travelling to their office. Then they have the nerve to send us adverts for other properties that 'we may be interested in', making this whole experience reek of a bait and switch. If you, reading this right now are the said mortgage advisor or had any part to play in this then I hope you are ashamed of yourself for brazenly messing us around and the absolute least you could do is compensate us for the time and money wasted.

TrustpilotI'm trying to buy a property in Liverpool
I'm trying to buy a property in Liverpool. I had agreed to meet a mortgage advisor with J&C but, having had three similar quotes, decided one more wasn't necessary. I didn't hear from J&C again despite calling and emailing about properties. I finally got a response. This was after a week of a few attempts to make contact. I was told the property I wanted to view had been sold already to a priority buyer - meaning someone who had met with the J&C mortgage advisor. I explained that I didn't need a mortgage. It became clear the mortgage advisor is considered a necessity if wanting to purchase through J&C. I have never been sent a property by J&C and have not managed to arrange a viewing with them. It's clearly a waste of my time (as a first time buyer with a mortgage in principle in place) to use this estate agent. I just want to buy a property from an estate agent and I don't need a mortgage. TL;DR J&C isn't interested in you as a buyer unless you see their mortgage advisor

TrustpilotAvoid
Avoid. I would never use them again. There must be a reason that only a few people using this estate agent. Sold our house 15k less than the asking price and they said to me we have sold our house at a 'good price'. I didn't get my money back for marketing package cost as promised. Very lay back estate agent, offer accepted and I didn't receive the letter confirmation until 2 weeks after. They didn't do the ID check of the buyer until days after. From my experience, I would not believe whatever they said.

GoogleWere informed that viewing of a house in L8 was tba then heard nothing. Left two voicemail messages a week apart asking for updates wrt viewing but never received a call back. After looking for a home for almost a year and prices increasing daily we were desperate not to be priced out or gazumped again. Maybe they're selling so well they didn't see the need to ring us but to not have the decency to let us know if the house was still for sale, removed or otherwise was very rude. Poor service and smacks of arrogance.

GoogleAs buyers, my wife and I cannot speak highly enough of Ann, the Sales Progression Manager, and Michelle, the Residential Sales Manager in the Allerton office. It has been a pleasure to deal with Ann and Michelle, who have been really helpful and professional during our purchase. Ann has gone out of her way to liaise with (and, when necessary, chase) all the parties involved to expedite the purchase and make it as stress-free as a house purchase can be. Both Ann and Michelle are a credit to Jones & Chapman.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleA bit disappointed with the progression side of things at Jones and chapman. We didn’t hear from them until weeks and weeks after we had our offer accepted, didn’t feel proactive at all. Towards the end of the sale I found them quite unhelpful- messages got confused, things had to be explained repeatedly, and questions weren’t answered properly. The agent we sold with was far more professional and proactive. I assume they are very busy at the moment so it might’ve been a one off but in my experience there are much better agents in Liverpool.

GoogleI used a search website to get a valuation of my house for a remortgage and a number of estate agents appeared - 6 in total. Out of the 6, 2 responded. One, who I will keep nameless, wanted £100 + VAT for the service and emailed, whereas Jones Chapman rang me directly, and showed a professional level of personal service that is slowly diminishing in the world. The booking was confirmed for the next day and the detail in the responses from the valuation were 2nd to none. Will be using them in the future - most definitely.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleI couldn’t be happier with the help, guidance and professionalism of everyone I’ve dealt with at Jones & Chapman. I spotted a rental property on Rightmove and got in touch. Within a matter of only two days I had a viewing, an application and had secured the place and this was all down to the hardworking lettings negotiators at this estate agents. I dealt mainly with Afeefah and Alex and found both to be so knowledgeable, professional and always on hand to answer any questions. Any communication has been quick and responsive and everything has been so rigorous, thorough and detailed. The application process was all done online which really took out any of the faff or hassle, too. It’s pretty clear that the staff at Jones & Chapman really know what they’re about and I’m very grateful for all of their help so far.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleWe would like to thank Jones & Chapman for their considerate services and quickest feedback. They are very professional from the beginning to the final completion. Ashley provided very efficient mortgage advice. Ann has followed up and effectively helped the whole process to the completion. She communicated in an active and friendly way with me and helped to get quickly the response from the vendor's solicitor. I am very impressed by her effciency and very kind communications. Many thanks also goes to Ellie who was very patient to show us the house and shared us information about the outstanding school options. On the whole, I believe this is a very good and pleasant team. I highly recommend to use Jones & Chapman to purchase property.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
