GoogleI've rented a flat with C&D Properties in Liverpool for the last two years. They have always been a delight to work with - very friendly and upfront. I needed a flat to move into quickly, and they were very fast in sorting out their side of the paperwork. The few maintenance issues that I have had to deal with have been dealt with rapidly and by the correct professionals. The letting agents have always ensured easy communication between me, the landlord and building managers. I would highly recommend renting from them.

GoogleI experienced many ways of manipulation with these two-faced people. I would not recommend them, specially if they perceive you as disadvantaged or you are not acquainted of your rights in this country. I have experienced from abuse such as silent treatment when waiting for important issues to be resolved or having my money back (even when they overcharged when paying the deposit!) to renting properties with poor health condition. The list goes on but it can be synthesized as a completely lack of honesty, twisting things as they wish. A real pain dealing with them. As I can not reply to your comment I would highlight the following: I have not made, in any way, personal or unsubstantiated insults, but express my experience. I know very well what I have experience with yourselves. If you can reply in an hour my comment when you are closed, I suppose you can give my money back (not the deposit) or a response within two days. Finally, my civil status is not anyone's concern.
Miss Ibanez. You have in no way whatsoever been manipulated by anybody at this company, far from it. To suggest that you have somehow been 'abused' or been the victim of some kind of silent treatment is a complete untruth. You emailed us and we replied within 48 hours. The country you have come from is completely irrelevant, we have many, many wonderful tenants from all over the world who are very happy with our service. A lot of them have left 5 STAR reviews on this very page. The landlord has already authorised the release of approximately 97% of the deposit to you via The Deposit Protection Service but you have failed to reply to them and claim your monies. To be clear - C&D Properties is not claiming a single penny from you, the landlord is. The landlord is claiming the money for the cost of cleaning the dirty oven and has agreed to allow the DPS to resolve this impartially. Our staff are hard working, honest people and not 'two faced' at all. Kindly refrain from such personal and unsubstantiated insults.

GoogleMy partner and I used this agency recently whilst searching for a flat. While we chose not to go with this agency in the end, we were very impressed with the service that we received. Having walked in from the street after seeing an advertisement for a flat in the window, the team were nothing but polite, courteous and friendly from the beginning. Very efficient in organising viewings and responding to queries. Having dealt with some truly awful letting agents over the years, it was nice to know there are still some around that want to do a decent job. Credit due to the team.

GoogleI used C and D Properties to sell my house on the Wirral. The sale completed in July 2017. From start to finish, Erica, Jessica, Kieran, Ian and the rest of the team were very proactive and honest in their approach - from the suggested valuation to completing the sale. I found their approach to communication to be second to none with continuous updates and follow ups to me and the other parties involved. This helped no end in speeding up the process. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

GoogleI do not live near my properties so I need a company I can trust. C&D take care of everything so I never need to worry. I am kept up to date with all progress and any remedial issues are all sorted for me by their maintenance divisions so I can relax with complete confidence. The rates are very reasonable and the staff are very friendly and approachable yet professional and give great advice. A 5* service all round and highly recommended.

GoogleReasonable service from this company. Seemed to be a lot of paperwork and admin fees to pay in comparison to other agents. I had asked for new carpets and bath panel (which was cracked when I moved in) and while the carpets were changed fairly quickly the bath panel remained unchanged. I ended up moving properties midway through my second contract and had to pay a re-advertisment fee which in my opinion was unnecessary as they had a list of clients who were immediately interested. (That must be one top class advertising campaign!). I was left to be available to host viewings with all new intended tenants despite working. I would have thought that the landlord would be paying the agency a fee to do this. My exit from the property left around a week before new tenant moved in and despite my assisting with viewings etc. I was charged, from my deposit, the rent that was due before the new tenant moved in. Overall, reasonable company, tho I had to deal with them minimally during my stay in the property. Friendly and helpful staff in the office. Returned calls promptly.
Hi David, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. With regard to the couple of points you raised: 1. The bath panel was cracked as you say but was in the landlords opinion not in need of replacement, he did however install new carpets for you. 2. The landlord did very kindly allow you to leave mid-tenancy to help you out, but there are costs involved in doing this and finding a new tenant (even from our mailing list) involves work & advertising. 3. With regard to viewings we simply asked could you help out and we were very grateful that you could, if this was not convenient then you just needed to tell us and we would have ensured a member of staff attended. 4. The charge from the deposit was for the void days between the end of your tenancy and the start of the new one. As the landlord had kindly allowed you to vacate early he really couldn't be expected to be out of pocket also? 5. Our admin fee of £100 is I think you will find, one of the cheapest available in the city centre and we don't feel it is excessive, the paperwork required is to protect both ourselves and the landlord and most of it is a legal obligation. As a landlord myself I know I would want my agent to be very thorough in vetting a prospective tenant. I really hope that helps to answer your questions David and we are pleased that overall you were reasonably happy with our service. We certainly remember you as a very good tenant and we would be more than happy to welcome you into one of our properties again in the future. Best regards David, Ian

GoogleEveryone in the office is very welcoming, professional and walking into the office feels warm and homely. When in a rush to find a new flat this agency quickly got to work for me and had a flat in the exact location I wanted and was able to organise a viewing that same day. They work fast and to quality to get everything done for you. I highly recommend C & D Properties!

GoogleI have been renting an apartment in Liverpool city centre with C&D for three years and have only had very positive experiences. The apartment was in good shape when I moved in and any repairs over the years were dealt with in a matter of days. Even an emergency leak was fixed while I was at work without me needing to do anything. Staff in the office have always been very friendly. I would highly recommend.

GoogleThe staff is friendly, professional and always very helpful no matter how small or inconsequential a question may seem. They use GoodLord to help the customers, which has a lot of useful tools like helping you set up contents insurance. The GoodLord automated system can at times be frustrating but if you talk to any of the employees everything is fast, smooth and very easy.
