Berkeley Shaw were woefully inadequate in handling the management of our building in Salford. As leaseholders , we expected a good service inline with the ever increasing management fees.

Was lied to in the sales pitch, when asked for information about why the house wasn't selling the reply was effectively 'We don't know', recorded important details inaccurately. No contract ever issued and very little contact feedback between them and me. Not sure they were bothered whether the house sold or not.

I rented a property from this estate agents and I can confidently say I have never worked with or liaised with a poorer quality of service. My emails were seldom answered, I have a chain of about 14 emails not receiving a response. The phones were almost never answered and when they were it was exceptionally patronising and I was spoken over. The property I was renting had a multitude of issues that were completely overlooked despite an extortionate amount of effort on my half to resolve them, including bug infestations and security issues. I was looking to purchase a property via the same estate agents and again I was treated poorly, when I pulled out of buying the property they gave my contact details to the seller who then proceeded to call me directly and question me as to why I wasn’t going to purchase their property which is a breech of my data protection rights. I would strongly advise anyone to not work with Berkeley Shaw unless they want their time and money wasted. I have rented properties for approx the last 8 years and I have never had such a bad experience.
