GoogleGreat service from McClelland. They rented and managed my property for about 2-3 years. They did a great job in fully managing this process! I then decided to sell the property and Matthew and his team were great in helping me find a buyer and achieving a sale before the end of the year! 5 Star service and highly recommended if you’re thinking of renting, buying or selling!

GoogleI’m not the type to leave negative reviews, but I strongly advise anyone considering using McClelland Salter to think twice. Our experience with them was frustrating from start to finish and resulted in a huge waste of time, money, and effort. First off, they tried to stipulate that we could only use one point of access to the property (a steep hill with a dangerous blind junction), despite us consistently communicating that we would only be interested in the property if both points of access, including the driveway, were available for regular use. Despite multiple emails and reassurances from their rental manager, Sarah Spence, no action was taken to ensure the driveway access would be clear. It wasn’t until three days before our move-in date that we found the driveway still blocked by a neighbour’s caravan. It seems ludicrous that an estate agent would try to dictate when you can or can’t use access points to a property you’re renting, especially after being told from the start that the driveway was essential. On top of this, Sarah’s attitude was completely unprofessional and patronising throughout. We were made to feel like we were being unreasonable for raising legitimate concerns about access, and her responses became increasingly dismissive. To make matters worse, we believe our age played a role in the way we were treated, as she continually spoke down to us and implied we were naive. When we tried to raise a formal complaint, we were met with the same condescending attitude, further proving that they don’t take tenant concerns seriously at all. In the end, this entire experience caused us significant stress and financial loss, as we had arranged furniture deliveries, time off work, and had family and friends rearrange their schedules to help with the move, all for nothing. I cannot stress enough how much of a waste of time and money this has been. If you value professionalism, clear communication, and not being patronised by your estate agent, do not use McClelland Salter.

GoogleLooked after our property seamlessly for 17 years after we emigrated. I think our property was vacant for less than 6 months total out of these years. They took all the hassle away from being an overseas based owner. Repairs and maintenance were prompt and very reasonably priced. We finally sold it this year and we were very happy with their advice, communication and pricing throughout the whole process.

GoogleI had listed my house with another agent and it was a bad experience ending with them forgetting to relist my property. I contacted other estate agents and all they wanted to do was pick up where my last agent left off. Not McClelland Salter they treated me as a new client, came out and revalued my house, assured me things would be different and they were. One week after listing I went sale agreed, with more money and effortless took me through the rest of the process. They keep in touch with every aspect of the sale from start to finish, something I was lacking with my original agent. I can't recommend them enough and would definitely be using them again if I ever need to. Thanks to the team
