Google3.8!! Not surprised, they deserve 1 star rating or less.
Unfortunately I happen to hand over sale of my home to them, still with them. Now I am not surprised y they have got 3.8 review compared to all other high street agents who have an average review of 4.8.
They have just advertised 12 photos of my home, which doesn’t showcase my home at all properly , and I repeatedly requested them to have new EPC not the one when I bought the home 8 years ago, but even after speaking to them since the advertisement went online many times, they haven’t changed the EPC or updated photos as I requested, just show my home as it supposed to be.
I am not getting any call back as I requested and supposed, and after 2 days of requesting to upload more photos, detailed descriptions and ECP, nothing has been done and no one has contacted me yet!!!!!!
Do they even care anything about customer care and courtesy?
Do they really want to make any selling happen?
I am really surprised and shocked?
I am going to contact my solicitor about taking some actions against them.!!

Spalding branch.We were told on introduction that commission was 1.5%, there was a £150 fee for photos and energy plan, and P&C also 'reserved to right' to charge £150 admin fee if we withdrew the property from them. He told us he'd recently 2 or 3 couples interested in a property like ours. Commission was slightly higher than local competition, but we gullibly presumed this was spent on extra marketing. After seeing only 2 couples in 3 months (1 of whom made it clear from the outset they had no interest in our house) and despite dropping the price by over 8%, we decided to sell elsewhere.We were told we had to pay the admin fee and also the £150 'arrangement fee' for the photos (we could not keep or use them).Having sold a property elsewhere recently, I really thought estate agents had changed. Well, Pygott & Crone haven't!If you are thinking of selling or letting/renting I'd strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

GoogleTreated appalling by this branch. Verbally said offer accepted over phone for house they were selling, confirmed we had accepted an offer below our asking price to a cash buyer all so we wouldn't lose the house, all agreed to go ahead over phone and took one evening to sort a solicitor only to be told the next day that an offer from another buying had been accepted!! Kept waiting hours at a time, trying to get more information, if we could put in a higher bid. Not just letting us down but our buyer who also thought could more in time for Christmas. Unbelievable, disgusting way to treat people. Agree with other reviews, clearly all they care about is money.

Hi Jo, Thank you for your feedback. Without knowing the specific details it is hard to comment as I cannot find a Jo Goss on our system. I can confirm though that at present multiple offers are coming in on properties all the time as it is such a competivie market, with a shortage of available stock. We do not make the decision on who a seller choses to sell to, however whenever an offer is received we are under a legal obligation to notify the sellers. The seller taking a higher offer will have no effect on our income as we work on fixed selling fees, so it has nothing to do about money for us. If I could have put no stars or minus I would. I offered on a property full asking price but the agent wanted it Subject to viewing. Sent my aip across holly in boston confirmed vendor happy with the offer just need to view on return from holiday today at 4.30. Gets a call and email from a joe saying vendor accepted offer over weekend and therefore viewing cancelled. Also tries to tell me cant offer without viewing which being a senior conveyancer for 27 years i know is totally wrong. Many people offer not viewing and I had seen it outside offered straight away just unfortunate that flew out. Have email stating offer accepted by vendor to come back to this just an absolute joke. Funny tho as was messed about on a bungalow in quadring years ago tenanted but we were not advised also subsidence it was a joke and the vendors Conveyancers couldn't deal with the issues again misrepresented. This will certainly be taken further. Absolutely rubbish service and to not even know what another advisor in office had done is just totally and utterly incompetent . Trying to make out it's my fault for going on holiday but I would have given full asking price without the viewing, obviously not even advised to the vendor. Emails from Holly very clear as are Joe's so let's see the poop hit the fan now!!

Pygott Crone in Boston charge £250+ vat as a withdrawal fee. This is without an end date, even though after 9 months they have not sent an offer our way. We had been guided by their sales chap in regard to the price, reduced twice and told they can “guarantee” they will sell at the new lower price (still no offer). All other agents I’ve contacted either have no fee to withdraw, or 12 to 16 week. We signed the contract and failed to check their withdrawal period, not expecting it to have a no end date.

GoogleUtterly poor. I was interested in a commercial property and spoke with William Downing who told me that the property was no longer available and hadn't been available for over a week. I told him that the property shouldn't be listed on a 'live' website if this was the case, yet instead of actively listening, acknowledging that the problem is real and apologising for the trouble, he just said it's an IT issue. Three days later, the same commercial property is still listed as available to rent. Pygott & Crone and William Downing are a perfect example of bumbling incompetence. Avoid!
