When you phone them to arrange a viewing, they always say that someone else is dealing with the property in question. One then has to wait 2/3 days before they get back to you in order to arrange a viewing. It is worse with accompanied viewings, as they keep you waiting to see if they can drum up some more interest so that Pygott & Crone can arrange for a number of interested parties to turn up to the property at once. The conclusion is that getting a viewing appointment with this lot is like jumping over a number of hoops before the option of having a viewing appointment becomes available. In my opinion, I call this gross manipulation. Update: I requested a viewing exactly 13 days ago. Still waiting to get a viewing on a property which requires accompanied viewing. You sometimes wonder whether they want to sell to one of their cronies. Oh well, I'm glad that I'm not selling with this shower of a company.

We used P&C to sell our house in spring 2024. Although our initial experience was ok (we got an offer relatively quickly), it was downhill from there. Once we were passed over to the selling negotiation team, it was clear they weren't working for us - they only wanted to complete the sale asap. From start to finish, it felt like they were working for the buyer. Would not recommend using P&C.

I found a brand new build property through Pygott & Crone after myself and my partner were let down by another seller at the stage of completion. With me being 6 months pregnant we advised that we need things done as quick as possible, Charlotte mountain has been absolutely amazing through beginning to end, and making sure we were first to view the property we have now purchased when it came back onto the market and was kind enough to reserve it for us until we completed our financial assessment. She has been very quick at replying to all emails and questions and that reassured us a lot. We highly recommend her especially if you are a first time buyer and not sure where to start!

Awful experience when attempting to by my first home. Had offer accepting, signed papers and was sourcing my own mortgage broker by day 2 had a phone call to say that my offer has been cancelled as someone has put a higher offer in even though all docs are signed! Agent was rude and put a lot of pressure on me to use all of there own suppliers which was intimidating as a first time woman buyer.

Contacted Pygot Crone Holbeach to arrange a viewing of a property we were interested in. Told someone would call back. No call back. Called again and again told someone needs to call back. Again no call back. Called again and was told the property was not on the market the owners were ill and taken off the market. Checked a week later and still on their website and on Rightmove. Called and was told the property was sold. A few days later when my partner called was told the owners were poorly and had been taken off the market for a few months. Also sent 2 emails enquiring about this and another property no response.
