Speedy and efficient sale but most…

Speedy and efficient sale but many queries and requests were refused or referred to solicitors. (We needed to get a message the buyers to contact the neighbours to discuss a shared issue, for example.) Information passed on to us by the estate agents was usually already known to us, as passed on by our solicitor. Having handed over almost three times the cost of the solicitor, I think estate agencies would do well to explain exactly where the money goes. To be fair this is not a Martins issue, it is general, but Martins could buck the trend!

Having already sold a property with Tom Lawrence, we didn't even consider anyone else when it came to moving again five years later. My parents used this joke of an agency to sell their house. Did nothing untill they handed in their notice after receiving barely any arranged visits over 10 weeks.. 1 day before the contract ceased they amazingly found someone.. no memorandum of sales was issued and the agent led them on for 2 months. After this the agency kept attending the house and even sent around the buyer who they were waiting on weeks on weeks to try and strong arm them into a sale. Parents ended up going with another agency (who they got an offer within 4 days) and they said that they wouldn't be stung with 2 lots of agency fees when clearly there are in contract.. do not touch or you will regret. I welcome a response from them...

Very unhelpful and dissapointed. Called to book a viewing same day the house has been advertised, told me that I am the first to call and I asked to book the viewing as soon as possible because I am interested in the property. Book me in the next 4 days and a day before they called to tell me that the viewing is canceled because someone else came to see it over the weekend and let it. Totally unprofessional and rude over the phone when I asked why this happened because I was keen to do the application as we were supposed to move quickly because we start another job and didnt look for another house besides that one. Avoid this letting agency. If I can rate it 0 I would but not possible.
