GoogleDoug was nice but in the end we ended up renting a house in Penge with serious damp issues and a dodgy landlord. After a year of problems we left and it was horrendous to get the deposit back from Mann.

I think your you are aware from your conversations with the branch they have in fact ceased all dealings with this particular landlord as a result of your tenancy, we can only sincerely apologise as although there is no way for us to have known beforehand once we are made aware we consider it our absolute obligation to ensure our future clients are never knowingly placed into a problematic household. As you can see from our Google history customer care is an area our Sydenham branch takes extremely seriously.

Dealing with this estate agent was an absolute nightmare. The complaints department was no help at all, with everyone giving me different information. I never wanted to become a landlord; I only did it because I couldn't sell my flat when I needed to move. The letting agent assured me they would take excellent care of my property, but that was far from the truth.They found a tenant with antisocial behavior, resulting in numerous complaints from the estate management about the tenant smoking weed and playing loud music at night. The letting agent did nothing to address these issues. They failed to inform me of damages and didn't chase the rent, which was consistently late. I had to follow up with them every month. Despite paying a full service fee, all they did was collect money.They misled me throughout the process. On the day the tenant was moving out, they called to say they had forgotten to send me the notice the previous month. They also wrongly deducted money for a rental extension, which I would never have agreed to if I had known the tenant was leaving. To make matters worse, the same agency helped this problematic tenant find a new flat, despite knowing about the complaints, late payments, damages, and unpaid rent.The complaints department was no better, merely covering for themselves instead of taking responsibility. Avoid this estate agent at all costs.

GoogleI would definitely recommend Mann & Co in Sydenham as the Estate Agent to use. They are professional, dedicated and determined to get the best price for your property that you are selling. The sales staff meet and greet you and learn everything they can about your property in order to market it. The Team, Lee, Guy, Truong, Hannah & Natalie were superb and I thank them all for their hard work.

GoogleIf you’re a tenant do all you can to avoid these jokers. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced such abysmal customer service. Landlords are let off the hook constantly when it comes to fulfilling even simple repairs. The management part of the company (part of countrywide group) might get back to you about repairs after a high degree of nagging but clearly just hope you’ll give up. At the end of the day they’re happy once you’re in the property and don’t give a s**t about your welfare or quality of life after that point. Genuinely horrific experience. We’re almost at the end of our first year contract and there are at least seven issues still unresolved which were logged within 24hrs of moving in. Best bit is that the renewal arm of the outfit just contacted us about a new contract and suggested a rent increase. Like, how about 🖕🏼 Oh and at the time of sorting contracts last year you got £20 off the fee if you left a positive review on here. So I’d ignore anything on google reviews with 4 or 5 stars, under a sentence long. Avoid avoid avoid. Mann lettings are even worse than Janets bar, Kensington and that’s saying something (look those reviews up, they’re brilliant and you’re welcome).

Delighted to achieve a rapid sale , we may have considered a more prolonged marketing tactic to enhance purchase price but the sale has been completed in short order , thank you for all your efforts . One of the worst estate agents I have ever encountered. I was given an appointment to view a property, but a day before, I received a message stating that it's sold. Despite that, I received another call seven days later, claiming the same property is back on the market and scheduling a second appointment. I requested an early appointment, but they couldn't accommodate due to the landlord's unavailability, forcing me to reschedule other commitments, including childcare. To my dismay, I received a call on the same day of the viewing, informing me that the property is now sold. Beware of this estate agent if you're selling your house; their professionalism is questionable.

GoogleI broke my tenancy agreement because of the build up of raw sewage due to an issue with the toilet drain. Despite repeated requests, the letting agency did not resolve the issue in a timely manner, leading me to involve the Bromley Housing Enforcement Team. I also received my security deposit a month later than expected. I am taking steps to bring it to the attention of the Property Ombudsman in the hopes of preventing similar issues for other tenants in the future.

Intial consultation seemed positive but things then went downhill as floor plans needed repeated correction and appointed photographer seemed uninspired and uninterested. Several images needed replacing by agenciesphone shots. The online description contained missing text, errors and general failure to inspire prospective buyers. Then followed weeks of silence, a couple of marketing reports,when requested, but no viewings and no feedback. Desperately disappointing.

No wonder the majority of reviews on here are atrocious. The Beckenham Branch is the worst kind of estate agent experience you could wish for. They cancel appointments, but never bother to call back to rearrange. Every person you speak to tells you a different story, lies, lies, lies. Where is the management and leadership?

GoogleWe rented a property from Mann Countrywide Sydenham, and received an excellent service from Doug and Dan. We viewed a couple of houses but they were not trying to push us to rent something that wasn't right; once we found the one we loved they made sure the paperwork and moving in part ran smoothly. The house was in a fantastic condition, with paintwork done where discussed and flat cleaned. I would recommend and use Mann Countrywide again!

GoogleReally good agent. Have a good renting experience. Dominika and Gerald is really friendly and helpful, and help us deal with the problems when we are applying the property and after we move in. And the property is brilliant, quiet and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend MANN as a agent to all my friends .
