real lack of service/ communication

awful, I have been trying to speak to someone from the sales team for months. they say the same script every time I call "this is lettings, leave your details and sales will call you back". They never do. I actually want to purchase a property, why wont they talk to me? I can see the property just sitting there and every time I ask if it's still available they say it is. But I never get further than that with them.

Can recommend!

Monika has been managing my flat for rent for the last year or so. She has always been friendly, responsive and proactive, communicated regularly by email and by phone and I have been able to feel the flat is in good hands. Recently we've had some issues with damage coming from the flat above and she has gone the extra mile to chase the managers of that property so that the damage can be repaired. I'm very grateful to her!

Unfortunately I had a leak at my flat which I let out through Dexters. Monika has been incredibly efficient in resolving this - chasing the managing agent to find the cause of the leak, following up and arranging for it to be fixed and then looking into redecoration which needs to be claimed on the buildings insurance, as well as liaising with and reassuring the tenant and keeping me informed. She has been a pleasure to deal with and I am really impressed by her efficiency, reliability and tenacity.

We’d previously thought we’d receive good service and communication for selling our property but in actual fact, being able to get hold of anyone from the team is near impossible. I could name names but quite frankly, it seems it’s across the board and I don’t believe in personal public shaming. We started off having a great evaluation and transparent/ no BS conversation about pricing. Within a week, we fortunately got an offer off-market which we accepted. However, whenever we asked for an update on progress from the buyer we often found ourselves ghosted. Then, out of the blue after 6 weeks, we received an email (not call!) telling us the buyer was offering elsewhere. Obviously frustrating but not the agents fault. We then went on the market officially and after two viewings have been told to reduce the price - bear in mind we’ve been on the market for 3 weeks. And whenever we try and call to speak to someone or email no one responses. It often is 5-7 days between correspondence. And when we asked if we could talk talk - we were told the agent had a viewing and they’d call on Monday. I’ll believe that when pigs fly.. It seems that only way that we will hear anything is from leaving a Google review - so I’ll await 5-7 days for a response to this!

Recently I had an issue with an appliance at one of my rented properties, Nabil Subhani dealt with back and forth between his maintenance team, the tenant, the insurance company and directly with me. In all the time. Dealing with the matter, Nabil was responsive to all matters in an extremely efficient and timely way. Very sloppy service from Dexters

Very sloppy service from Dexters. Missing attachments to emails, forgetting to send information, incorrect information was sent.At check-in, they didn't even give us the right keys.... Sloppiness was a constant through the process....The house was very very dirty, despite it should have been professionally cleaned by contract. There was mold, dust, dead insects.... Lots of furniture was broken or not fixed. We are not sure if the landlords were informed at all at this point.Another red flag is that the agents try to lock tenants in very long contracts, a new trend with many companies. They didn't pressure as much as others, but still, they create this constant sense of urgency for the tenants.... then they disappear for days and need constant follow-ups.Do not recommend.
