5 Stars for Cailean

Cailean was excellent and made up for the short comings of certain other staff members within the branch. He was responsive, conscientious, helpful and also went above and beyond to try and help us escalate enquiries that weren't his direct responsibility. To Cailean alone I give 5 stars for taking responsibility of our purchase. I hope other staff members learn to embody his traits and the respect he shows to his clients.

Amazing experenice start to finish

Amazing experenice start to finish, we left our contract early, they timed us leaving with the new teants almost semesley and throughout our contract were extremely helpful and quick to get back to us. Which we feel puts them above previous estate agents we've had. We wanted to say a huge thank you to Marcus in particular ! Will defenitly be using you guys when its time to buy our first home.

Can't recommend this place enough. We're first time buyers and they were friendly and efficient from day one. Even when we had a few frustrating delays (which was out of their hands), it felt as though everyone was on our side and doing everything in our best interest. Special mention to Susan who was a rock all the way through and went above and beyond what I'd expect to help progress the sale. The only very slight criticism was that the solicitors they recommended were difficult to deal with at times but not a reflection on the branch itself. Overall would thoroughly recommend.

We cannot rate Cubitt & West highly enough. The team in the Lewes branch (particularly Sue and Robin) have been so helpful and efficient throughout our recent move from Essex to Lewes. We faced numerous hurdles with the legal side of the purchase and the team were always on hand to help push things through and to help coordinate the vendors and solicitors during a very stressful purchase. I never imagined building a relationship with an estate agent, but having the familiarity and consistency really helped us feel at ease. It was Sue who ultimately recommended the property that we ended up buying and her frank, warm personality and good humour, along with her professionalism and efficiency were really invaluable. I have no doubt that she went above and beyond for us and we really couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for all your hard work over the last eight months (!) we are finally where we want to be thanks to the team at Cubitt&West

In my opinion you only really get a true sense of an estate agent when things get fraught and in this sense Cubitt & West Lewis office passed the test with flying colours. Thanks to Susan, in particular, for her professionalism which enabled us to meet an incredibly tight timeline to exchange. Her sense of humour isn't too shabby either. I don't think you would be disappointed if you appoint this office to facilitate your property transaction. Like all good estate agents, Cubitt & West do get busy so don't be averse to giving them a little nudge if timing gets tight.

Cubitt & West did a great job on selling our house. The staff are all super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Once we had our buyer, the exchange and completion process was handed to their Senior Sales Progressor Julie Bramble. Now this woman is absolutely amazing and works tirelessly to keep a chain together and make sure everyone has a good outcome. Our sale and purchase was particularly complicated, but Julie was with us every step of the way and went beyond the call of duty to make things happen. She’s amazing and deserves a big bonus! The best place to find your next home

It is tough being new to the UK and also searching for a house, but trust me, Paige and Marcus from Cubitt and West made it so easy for my family to find a house and to settle in at ease. They kept me always updated on every step of the process and was patient and friendly throughout the process. Cubitt & West did a superb professional job when acting on my behalf in selling my house. Their advertising campaigns resulted in 45 viewings and the property had good offers that were accepted. The first "sale" fell through as the chain collapsed. Cubitt and West were straight back on the case and resulted in a 2nd sale. Unfortunately that fell through due to the interest rate rises. Again Cubitt and West worked their magic and this time we went down the "modern auction" route. This 3rd sale was the charm and was completed successfully. My thanks and appreciation goes out to Gareth Doolan, Chris Bignell and Manager David Knox for their hard work, tireless efforts, professionalism and a superb outcome all round. I would definitely recommend Cubitt & West to anyone requiring the services of an Estate Agent.

Long Process.

This was a long process Karen and the team helped to coordinate the solicitors and push information through. The solicitors were very poor on both sides not responding to emails or phone calls not asking the correct questions and were poor at understanding the issues with the sell. Karen helped to keep the pressure on and escalating when needed and finally helping to get this sell to completion. Karen was very helpful and polite.

Highly recommend!

I have recently exchanged on a property I'm buying through Cubitt and West Southsea. Right from the start the team were extremely helpful without being overly pushy about added extras like a lot of other companies I viewed properties with. Ed, Andy and Julie Bramble all helped me at different stages, even helping me find another suitable property when the first seller pulled out of the sale. There was clear, prompt communication throughout and they were realistic about managing expectations. If I ever need to sell (or buy another property.. Hopefully not too soon!) then I would look to do this through C&W.

I cannot fault the service from Cubitt and West at all. I was unhappy with my previous estate agent and Cubitt and West were able to help with more viewings and generally making my home as attractive as possible. The conveyancing wasn't always straight forward but Julie Bramble was amazing chasing agents and conveyancers and keeping in regular contact.
