I used Connells, Letchworth to sell my home in 2024. Having previously marketed with a different agent, and been wholly dissatisfied, I changed Agent and was pleased I did. Aaron valued and initially managed the process for us, achieving an offer within the first two viewings. He was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful in those nervous early stages. I was pleased with the marketing materials and the online portal made it easy to keep a track of things; although I did find it all a bit overwhelming at first. On the whole Connells seemed to work well as a team, were very quick to answer questions and respond to telephone messages. I was warned it could take around 16-weeks for the sale to complete but these things are never a given and it took from June until November when we finally moved. My small niggle was that I did feel they were more focussed on the buyer at some points, rather than me as the seller and the one paying the fees. I do also feel that I could have had more communication from about 3-months into the sale when things went very quiet. On the whole a positive experience and I would recommend using Connells to sell a property.

We recently contacted Connells to value our property. Sam came round that weekend and was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. He gave us advice without being pushy. We ended up advertising our house with Connells and the brilliant service continued. Our house sold within 3 days but during and leading up to the time it was advertised, Sam kept in contact with us and kept us up to date with any viewings, including feedback. Everyone from Connells Letchworth have been absolutely heroic through our mission to join the property ladder, in particular Imojen. Imojen spent many hours taking my phone calls, I'm sure to her frustration of hearing my voice daily over so many months, but throughout she has been so bright, bubbly, and helpful, and was often the only hope we had. The process has been long and strained, but to no fault of the estate agents, and in fact without them, I wouldn't have been hopeful to move in this year. Michael was extremely helpful at the beginning of our journey for financial advice, and Craig helped pick up the pieces when we hit strife. We are now life long members of the Connells club, and plan to use them in the future for all our house needs, especially if Imojen is involved!

Having been looking for a typical garden city property for months, one was advertised with Connells that had the potential to be our dream home. I called on three occasions, however Connells were extremely poor at returning calls and organising viewings despite us giving them several times and dates. The only response I got regarding the property was after 48 hours. Instead, they seemed more focused on pushing other properties that we were not interested in than about the property we were genuinely interested in (which has now sold). Will not be returning.
