GoogleFrom a business perspective Tomlinson Estates are immaculate! They deliver on time (rare these days) they are efficient and have always let my property ahead of schedule each and every year. If they say they will ring you back they do and if any problems arise with maintenance etc they deal with the matter in a professional and economical way.
Whilst still remaining professional ALL the staff go beyond the norm, they have a sense of humour (always an asset) are very welcoming and they even give me lifts in to town to go shopping when I visit!
I can't recommend them highly enough!

GoogleAs a landlord I have used Tomlinson for a number of years. Their team have been quick to respond, highly professional and pleasant to deal with. They have alway tried hard to accommodate any requests I have made and have sorted any issues with the property promptly and effectively.
As the property was no longer required I asked Tomlinson’s to handle the sale. This they did with their usual high standard of service finding me a selection of interested parties and eventually securing a buyer who completed during lockdown.

GoogleWould have given it no stars if possible. Agree with Rory's comment. My student son rented with them and have taken over £500 out of their combined deposits( and this is on top of that one house making £35,000 in one years rent) and as I was one of the last to leave the house I know it was in a very good state. Still trying to sort it out with them but they just keep ignoring my emails, at least 5 of them now. Call the office and they do not care. In my opinion Keep Well clear of renting from them

GoogleI dealt with this letting agency for 2 years during university, had a lot of issues with them. The house we rented was old and had a lot of issues previous to us moving in. Despite the cleanliness of the house being inadequate there was also a lot of larger issues with the house i.e. leaks and mold that had been left for a substantial amount of time.
One of the larger issues they had was communication. They were very unhelpful when we had immanent issues with the house, their emergency number which they advertised at the time when we moved in consistently went to voicemail. I had black mold in my room for the duration of my time in the property- despite multiple efforts of reporting it, it was never properly dealt with.
At the end of our tenancy they held onto our deposit and didn't start the process of us retrieving it for a long time.

GoogleThese jokers are trying to charge a mate £500 to clean a house he ensured was spotless before vacating the property. Even after providing photo and video evidence to prove the house was clean and tidy they are still persisting that there was in some way £500 worth of cleaning required, which funnily enough is almost all of the tenants' deposit. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being ripped off by bad little muppets.

GoogleDO NOT DEAL WITH TOMLINSON! This unprofessional agent charges for works not carried out, does not communicate and when they finally do it is full of lies and excuses. Has additional management charges. Leaves tenants without the necessary support and follow up.

GoogleWithout a doubt the worst estate agent I have letted a property from in my 5 years as a University of Nottingham Student. The house was left spotless (with evidence) and yet we were still required to pay half a grand (yes, half a grand) in cleaning fees for a 3 bedroom house. There are many Letting agencies in the Lenton area of Nottingham, which I highly recommend you explore before thinking about Tomlinson.
