GoogleI would rate this estate -1 if possible. They're all about covering up for the landlord. Lived in a property on Westcliff on sea. Damp, mouldy, creaky, won't attend to major repairs, they even cook up lies against me as regards existing problems, saying I caused it. I finally moved out, they had the audacity to claim all my deposit and even more...cooking up lies If not for TDS, who mediated and refunded my full deposit, the agency and landlord would have claimed it all and more. Run from them
Hi Christie, I think this relates to a property you vacated some 18 months ago, but you went under a different name, we are aware the landlord tried to claim for redecoration of the property from the condition it was left in on vacation, including condensation mold issues, cleaning and damages. But yes indeed as a fully licensed and regulated property management company, we are pleased to agree that your deposit was fully protected by us at the start of the tenancy via the TDS in the event of an inaccurate claim and we are pleased that they adjudicated the claim for you and the landlord, and the outcome went in the direction you hoped, as a lettings agency we receive no funds from tenants deposit in any way, they go towards contractors invoices or rent arrears to a landlord, never to the agency.
