Excellent,the best!

We have just exchanged contracts and the whole process was really easy, our agent was Anna Willis and she was absolutely brilliant, she was available to help and answer any questions and if she was not available (very rarely) a member of the team was always there to help. Anna was really easy to deal with and always did what she said she would do (this is not always the case with estate agents).Anna was really professional and made the whole process of selling our house easy. She answered all calls and emails promptly and was really efficient in all matters.The whole team at Sellmyhome were great and I can't praise them enough. The photos and video of the house were great and done really professionally. I can't believe all of this service was done for such a low price. When I first decided to go with an online agent I had my doubts but I can't recommend them enough, if there were a 10* award I would give it to them. Thank you to the team and a huge thank you to Anna.

Great online experience paired with the personal touch

In summary a great online experience with incredible personal support from our agent Anna.When selling our house we wanted to use an online agent for two reasons1) because most people search for houses today through internet sites rather than browsing the window of a bricks and mortar shop2) the fairer pricing structure. Nevertheless it was an untested service for us and we were not sure what to expect. We needn't have worried. The marketing of the property through Rightmove and Zoopla was very professional especially the 3D walkthrough which gives potential buyers a very good idea of what the house is like even before viewing. This means that most people requesting to view are genuinely interested in the property.Once we had an offer we had opted for the extra completion management service. Best of £200 we have ever spent! Our sale turned out to be a very complex and stressful process with many issues along the way, right up until exchange. Without the support of Anna who phoned solicitors up and down the chain and kept in contact with our buyer, I am certain we would not have completed the sale. She was very professional and treated us as people rather than a transaction in a sales ledger. She often went the extra mile to help us out even offering to be in contact when she was on annual leave. We can't recommend her highly enough and suggest if you anticipate any bumps in the road with your sale that you definitely opt for completion management.

We were so so impressed with our entire…

We were so so impressed with our entire experience with Sell My Home. We had three attempts to sell our house with high street estate agents with extremely high fees and we were so disappointed by their service. Sell My Home were an entirely different experience! Everyone that we dealt with was highly professional and friendly, the online system was amazing and the cost was low. We ended up in a very tricky chain with a lot of difficult situations to deal with and the Sell My Home team were absolutely fantastic! They supported us at every step and saw it through to the end. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Great purchase experience

We purchased a house listed with SellMyHome. I was a little sceptical after dealings with another agent, but that was totally unfounded. The online portal for offers could do with improvement (eg fields to explain position, specify conditions) and there seemed to be a little confusion with the first people I spoke to, but for negotiation of the offer and all matters up to completion, Anna Willis was superb - organised, knowledgeable and a great communicator. I have no doubt that the whole process would have taken longer and been more painful in the hands of many other agents.

The whole experience was brilliant

I was very worried about selling the house as we had overspent on the renovations and it was critical for us to sell asap. We had never used an online agent before and the cost-benefit was considerable but the priority was to sell ASAP. After a long conversation with the managing director of the company, I decided to give it a go for 4/5 weeks. I must admit I was very apprehensive but it was the best decision I made on the whole project. The first person that saw the house made an offer very close to the asking price and we accepted. Everything went smoothly to completion.The very best thing about Sellmyhome was that everything they advised me turned out to be accurate and my account manager Anna Willis was great at dealing with the day to day issues between me and the buyer. Highly recommend!

Anna Willis was fantastic! She was always available to answer any questions and kept me updated on the process. She listened to any questions or concerns I had and always gave me great advice. She really cared about doing a good job! The photos and virtual tour were excellent quality and really did the house justice. Anna and the team gave me excellent advice on what price to put the house on at and then quickly booked in a number of viewings as they came in. The whole process was managed very efficiently and enabled us to receive an offer within 2 days of putting the house on the market! Sellmyhome was incredible value for money and there were no hidden additional charges. I couldn’t ask for anything more from them. I highly recommend their service!

Fantastic all round business, team, service and price!

We would like to thank Anna, our account manager, for her service and support during our recent sale. She did a fantastic job, which resulted in, over 10 offers and us achieving £15k over our asking price and completion in just 6 weeks! We listed our property just before Christmas and had accepted an offer, thanks to the online booking/viewing system which allowed us to schedule viewings at a convenient time for us, all before the high street estate agents had even returned from their Christmas/new year annual leave.Anna liaised with our buyer, who also had nothing but praise, to ensure the process kept moving and we met our target move date. She was easily contactable via phone, text and email throughout and when she was out of office we were able to speak to someone who picked up her work in her absence, which was very refreshing.We have nothing but praise for the sell my home team, their product and pricing. Just sign up- you won’t regret it!!!

I had heard about online estate agents before with mixed reviews and when it came to sell my house I decided to check them out for myself. Obviously the reduced cost is the biggest draw but I was worried that may mean a lack of standards/ local knowledge/personal service etc. I approached a couple of agents with initial enquiries and found them slow off the mark and slow to reply to emails. However, I had a completely different experience with Sell My Home. Having contacted them on a Saturday evening I was completely surprised and impressed to get an immediate response from Tom Hardcastle answering all my queries and following it up with a telephone call the next day. Tom continued to answer all my queries and assigned me a personal account manager Laura Anderson to manage my house sale. Laura was just as impressive as Tom, showing excellent knowledge of the current market and trends, plus local knowledge from online sales. Laura gave sound advice throughout and was incredibly patient with my anxious phone calls after viewings. She chased people for feedback and, once I had secured the offer, managed the whole process and chain for me until exchange and completion, chasing estate agents, solicitors and giving me regular updates. Laura truly is amazing at her job! The standard of service was way above a high street estate agent but the most important thing for me was that everyone I spoke to at Sell My Home were friendly, genuine and trustworthy. I have always hated the money grabbing duplicitous nature of estate agents but these guys are certainly a different breed. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home. I sold my house in Wales with Sell My Home. It was first experience of selling and wasn’t sure what to expect from an online agent but I did my research first and Sell My Home was rated very highly. My sale completed this week and I cannot rate the service I received highly enough. I was assigned an account manager and very rarely spoke to anyone else but when I did always found them to be helpful and efficient. The online appointment booking is simple to use and once a buyer has been found they keep in touch with all parties to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Sell My Home were awesome.From initial conversations with Tom and throughout the sales process with my account manager Laura, I couldn't fault the service. They were always at the end of the phone. I had a call every Tuesday from Laura with a progress report. The whole thing was seamless, stress free and above all, extremely professional. They also arranged for my floorplan, photos and EPC to be done at a time convenient to me. I would recommend Sell My Home without hesitation. Fab service from people that care. From first contact to my moving date was only 4months. Just brilliant and I also used their recommended conveyancing solicitor. Again, always available to answer queries and great attention to detail. All this for a great price and no commission. Give them a call, you'll not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience - thoroughly recommend

I had a fantastic experience with SellMyHome. I used them to sell a one bed flat in London (chain-free). From the word go SellMyHome were very efficient and professional. Communication was brilliant and I was kept updated on developments throughout the sale. While I did the viewings myself, SellMyHome organised the photos (which were great) provided tips and followed up after each viewing with the potential buyer to get their feedback. I paid the extra £200 for completion services and I'm very glad I did - it meant SellMyHome did all of the chasing with the buyers' solicitors and dealt with a number of issues that arose in a very efficient manner. I couldn't have asked for more and would recommend to anyone. I dealt with Laura Anderson mostly, who was brilliant, but all of the staff I spoke to were very helpful. Save your money and go with SellMyHome! I will definitely be using them again in future.

A buyer’s perspective.

I recently purchased a house that SellMyHome promoted. From a buyer’s perspective, I had excellent service. Robbie was my point of contact and always responded promptly to emails and telephone calls, and was generally helpful with the various issues that arose. I would also like to recommend the 3D virtual tour to potential sellers. When I originally saw the house on Rightmove I was not that interested as it was not in an area that I was interested in. However, I took the virtual tour which sold the property. The house had unusual features and a lovely garden which were not immediately obvious from the photos. This tempted me to view a house that I would not otherwise have considered.

Experience of a first time user

I have always used High Street estate agents in the past, and have bought and sold many times in the last forty years. When it came to my recent move, my Son was very keen that I should "move with the times" and use an online agent. However, I was very apprehensive about it and did not know anyone who had sold through an online agent. I went into all my local traditional estate agents to see what they would offer in terms of fees and services. I felt comfortable doing my own viewings, knew what my property was worth, and only really needed them to take the photographs and put my property online on, for example, Zoopla and Rightmove. The agents told me "horror stories" about using online agents - particularly emphasising a lack of follow through (or progress chasing) once a sale had been agreed - and they were not willing to negotiate on selling fees in any way. After reading as many online reviews as I could, I finally took the plunge and called SellMyHome, as they had 5 stars and great reviews. I spoke to Tom and he ran through my three options - Pay in advance, pay in advance with a small additional amount to cover a kind of insurance so my fee would be refunded under certain circumstances, or pay a higher amount once any sale had been completed. I opted for the middle option to give me that little bit of extra reassurance. Within a few days, the lovely Abigail came with her amazing equipment and took lots of photographs, and then did a 360 degree recording of every area of my home to produce a virtual tour - I had never seen one of these before and it was quite remarkable to see the results online. I wrote the "blurb" myself, which makes sense as I know my home and the area, but I also had the services of Anna who was my designated project manager, and she read through what I had written and added her own touches. I was very pleased with what we produced together. From speaking with Tom to going live on Rightmove, etc, took five days. I had two viewings and two offers, and completed the sale in less than a month. Anna put myself and my Buyer in touch, and all three of us spoke regularly throughout the sale process to ensure we were all on the same page at all times - this was especially useful when dealing with solicitors, who could appear to be blaming the other side for any delays, as we all knew exactly what was going on. On the odd occasion when Anna was unavailable, everyone else I spoke to knew exactly who I was and what was happening. Unfortunately, I was gazumped on the first two properties I was trying to purchase (both through traditional agents!), but I was so grateful for the ongoing support from Anna throughout the ups and downs - she was very good at calming me down when I called her in tears twice in two weeks. I will definitely be using SellMyHome again. I loved having more control of the process and knowing exactly what was happening at every stage. Saving more than £2,500 was really just the cherry on top of a perfect experience!

SellMyHome were fantastic agents when it came to selling our flat. I was really impressed from the moment we signed up with them and knew we'd made the right decision. We had put our flat on the market with a high street agent and had been unsuccessful and wanted an agent that we could trust and that would give us a good service (which SellMyHome gave us). We felt it was valuable to get the help and support when it came to negotiating the offer and also to complete the sale. Robbie was absolutely fantastic and kept us in the loop at all times. He chased our buyers and dealt with lots of prickly situations along the way with professionalism and integrity. I wasn’t sure whether using an online…

I wasn’t sure whether using an online agency would work for a grade 2 listed semi rural cottage - thought they were more for London flats. However, after doing some research we decided to try sellmyhome, and have been really impressed. A larger online agency came round to value the house, but I didn’t get the impression of personal attention from them that I was looking for. From the first, Robbie, Gina and Anna were fantastic. Their friendly professionalism impressed not just me but also the people who came to view, several of whom mentioned how pleasant and efficient they were. Great portal, very smooth organisation of viewings and feedback, great communication; we sold quickly and at the value sellmyhome placed on the property, actually above the asking price. Selling your house via an online agency does require you to put the effort in, but you are very well supported and guided by the experts at sellmyhome. We paid for the completion pack too, and are happy we did so as it meant there was someone keeping on top of all the moving parts to maintain the momentum. Overall- no hesitation in recommending them, they really are a cut above the competition both on and offline.

Amazing service for the price paid

Amazing service for the price paid. If you are comfortable showing people around your house then this is the way to go. I looked at a couple of online estate agents and Sell My Home were the most accommodating and friendly from the outset. The add on follow up service provided after we had accepted the offer from our buyers was exceptional, especially considering the difficult legal negotiation we experienced. We dealt with Laura Anderson who was a delight, she clearly understood my requirements from the start and also treated me like a human being and tailored her manner to my personality. Why did we even hesitate!

Slightly apprehensive about using the SellMyHome on-line service but it could not have been easier or better. We worked with the SMH team on the property description and then sat back. Immediately we started getting emails with name of applicants and suggested viewing times that we could accept or change. We soon got into the swing of showing the house and giving people time and space to really see the place. We then received a useful offer but less than we wanted to accept. That's when our excellent SMH contact, Laura, came into her own. She helped negotiate the price up to something very acceptable and then made sure the solicitors on both sides got on with it and stayed focused. She was impressive. Brilliant Team Work
