I would like to put on record that…

I would like to put on record that Sarah Davies the Sales Progression Manager at Sell my home in the Leicester office was one of the best out there. She pushed and pushed when needed to speed up the process that the conveyers I was using seemed to be having problems. She was like a member of my family, pushing for my issues that were continually coming up, due to processes that were going wrong. Without Sarah this process would have failed, even with the stamp duty being extended , the good news was ( It did not actually effect me ) , I feel I would still be waiting to be moved and would have missed the dead line of NO STAMP DUTY, without Sarah and her team. Excellent Service and help. A credit to the Estate Agent Industry without pale. Highly Recommended. 11 out of 10 at least.

The best estate agent you could ever wish to work with

We had a brilliant estate agent called Rosalind Levy, and she is an absolute wizard at her job. We were moving from Lydney, Glos to Caldicot Mon and it was a nightmare. We found our ideal house just as the pandemic struck, and a buyer for ours not long after, but our buyer had problems right from the start. There was land involved, and planning permission needed. But Ros found out all the information to track what was happening with it and kept us full informed, then at the last minute our buyers buyer pulled out and we thought that it was over, but no she managed to get it back on track, a new buyer was found and after telling their solicitors where everybody was it started to fly through. We saw our dream house on the 18.4.20 and moved in on the 26.4.21, and Ros was beside us every step of the way. If you need somebody to help and guide you she is definitely the right estate agent to have. I would definitely recommend her to everyone. She knows her job inside out and because she lives local as well she has all the contacts to help everything go smoothly. So if you are living in the Mon/Glos area, use Ros to get you moving.

I was introduced to Scott through a recommendation and after an initial meeting I trusted him to oversee my property portfolio. In particular, Scott helped to facilitate a sale of one of my properties where others had been unsuccessful. He always made himself available and guided me through the entire process until completion - removing all stress from the transaction. Nathan Hill is amazing!!

I have to say, my overall experience with this company was good, but what made it exceptional, was a gentleman called Nathan Hill. This lovely man was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond what almost anyone would do.We were selling our house in Kent and Nathan was there from the beginning, middle, and slightly messy end! He was our account manager, who managed the process between our buyer, their buyer, and the solicitors. He gave us contacts for whatever we needed, no matter what we requested. He did not ask for any extra costs or fees, even though he would have been well within his rights to do so.I would recommend Nathan, even if I were not to use Sellmyhome. This is a man who absolutely knows his craft and is very passionate about obtaining a positive outcome for his client.On his own time, he made sure everything was going smoothly and if it was not, he took many hours out of his days, to make sure everything was in hand.

Sharon, Caroline and all of the team worked tirelessly to get viewings booked in the diary. We trusted Scotts advice and experience and once we agreed on the sale, we were contacted straight away by Sarah Davies to deal with the process of completion. We cannot speak highly enough of Sarah she is very knowledgeable, reliable and efficient. I cannot praise Bill highly enough! Bill is the Estate agent for the people we are buying from. Due to our own conveyancing company being absolutely useless I have had an incredibly stressful time, Bill however has been a rock! He has guided me through the process been available at any time of day or evening, he has saved our purchase by finding me a decent solicitor to sort out all our problems. We had a great experience, very helpful.

We had a great experience with Online Estate Agents(now Sell My Home)the whole process from start to finish was very personal, smooth and professional. Scott was able to show the viewers around our property for us and we managed to get an offer and sold with a few days. After that Sarah was our point of contact for the remainder of the process, we had major problems with the Land Registry and the legal side of things. The process took far longer than expected, and was very stressful. However Sarah was there the whole time to help communicate between solicitors and our buyer/vendors, and went above and beyond. Thankfully we managed to get in for Christmas! We were delighted with the service we received and would really recommend them.

Be very careful and at no point trust…

Be very careful and at no point trust what the sales rep is telling you.Used sell my homes and paid an up front fee and was sold an insurance policy with it for £200 which the sales rep said you will get your money back bar the £200 if your property does not sell, which gave me confidence in parting with my money to an unknown estate agent.However the sales rep conveniently didn’t mention that if you accept an offer even if the property does not sell that voids the policy.After the pandemic hit the sales stopped and I received no more viewings and decided to activate this insurance policy only to be told it’s a money back guarantee and not a insurance policy and due to a offer that had been accepted but had fallen through it counts as a sale on the property and has voided this money back guarantee therefore I lose the fee and the £200 extra.Made several complaints all the way up to the managing director Mr Shezub Tayub and sales manager who has stated that the terms and conditions are outlined on the website but due to this policy being removed and not on sale anymore the terms and conditions no longer exists for you to view. From personal experience I would now rather pay that little bit extra to an high street estate agent who do not take a fee until the sale is actually completed.Yes you pay a bit more but trust me they will be more actively helping you sell your property and no need to buy some phoney insurance .Hope this will help potential future sellers and buyers to be more aware and read all small prints and do not trust anything they say as their word is worthless.No need to worry anymore for new customers as the insurance policy....wait money back guarantee is not on sale anymore, I can imagine why.In total lost out on just under £1400 after purchasing their after sales assistance as well.May not sound like much but to a new seller who have no experience in this area it has hit me hard and I will find it hard to trust online estate agents in the future.Lesson learnt the hard way...... Just received an reply stating I was fully aware of the terms and conditions. Clearly they have trouble listening as we would not be in this situation if I was aware and also I did not remove the advertisement, you guys did because of the lockdown and stated you would reinstate after the lockdown so I cannot see what offer Mr Shezub is offering as you guys said it would be listed again after lockdown but because I wanted to trigger the insurance....hang on a minute now been told it’s a money back guarantee, that’s the reason why my property has not been re-listed.Again told something but proven their word is worthless.And bear in mind the 97% positive reviews was before your merger and was one of the reasons why I risked using you guys but this post will hopefully help someone avoid my problems in the future.All I ever wanted was for what I sold to me to be honoured, not trying to claim anything else but if someone calls you up and sells you something (after registering interest on the website was called on a daily basis to sell me this service) you would expect to get what you have been sold.

Very good value for money service

Very good value for money service. I took the option of doing my own viewings to minimise costs. Scott was excellent with his advice and I was under no pressure to make decisions. The support team were very good. Minor problem with trying to get through to them by phone but this has now been resolved. Kept me upto date with potential buyers, they worked very hard to find them and to get them to view. Sarah was exceptional in following through on the sale, she did do much chasing of solicitors, buyers etc. I felt I was in good hands. The buyer they found was honest and reliable. COVID-19 made it a lengthy process but this is no fault of the team. Highly recommend you use their services.

Amazing service and excellent value! Anna was assigned to manage our property and took care of everything from the initial listing and photos all the way through to memorandum of sale and completion. Having an individual contact made the whole process run smoothly and Anna was always on hand to chase things up when required. We actually had a buyer pull out at the last possible moment (3 months into the sale) so we had to start the whole process all over. We changed photos and took the property off the market and then back on for a 2nd time and nothing was too much trouble and didn't have any extra fees. I would highly recommend sell my home and will use again in the future.

I was so very grateful to Anna, and sometimes Harry, for the help, advice, patience and keeping in touch over the year it took from putting my place on the market to completion. I never met them, but it felt like there was a friend on the end of the phone. Anna was so sympathetic and supportive when my first buyer withdrew, and worked hard to get another buyer. Writing one's own sale report was interesting and useful, as you can add all the useful things that you have found while living there. And having the video tour was useful I think for potential buyers. The cost was so much less compared to street agents, so that was a bonus. But the best was the feeling of security with Anna on the case!

We had a great experience with sellmyhome.co.uk. They took over our house sale after we had a problem with a previous agent. They quickly and smoothly arranged new pictures and a floor plan, both of which we were very happy with. The sales process was very easy with a constant stream of viewings and a range of offers. Harry was always on hand to give advice about the offers and was very helpful when we negotiated with our eventual buyer. Harry was also a good go-between during our conveyancing process. If you’re looking to sell your house I can honestly say that my experience with Sell My Home was nothing short of excellent! If you’re sceptical about using an ‘on line’ estate agent then I would encourage you not to be. Amazing experience and highly recommend

We had a fantastic experience using Sell my Home and saved ourselves almost £11,000 in the process! Our brilliant advisor Laura offered very sound advice and was very responsive to any queries. We also had our property marketed with a high street agent. However, whilst the high street agent had multiple people through our door for viewings (which meant constantly keeping the house tidy!!) a large % of these viewings were from people not genuinely interested in seeing the property. With Sell my Home viewings, this was not the case at all and the viewings were all very positive. We eventually got to the stage of best and final offers with the high street agent but they were still unable to get us an offer at the asking price...!! However, Sell my Home were able to get us an offer, at the asking price(!!), and also saving us the commission of a high street estate agent!We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and were throughly impressed with the service they offer! Forget High Street estate agents, this is the way to sell your home. A fair price for an excellent service.

I was honestly sceptical of using an online estate agent. Surely, I thought, how will it work, do I have to do everything myself, what about negotiating the price, it must be better selling through a face-to-face contact! I was completely wrong. The experience was nothing but positive at every stage. I had the pleasure dealing with Anna who reassured me at the start of the process that they would always be on the end of the phone and she was. Whilst I had to write the description and set my viewing calendar on the portal, Anna was always proactive and could not have made it any easier for me. SMH arranged a photographer to meet us almost within 48hrs of speaking to them. Anna contacted me throughout the process, providing me with useful information and advice. Anna was patient, understanding and professional at all times, even ringing me on her day off! Incidentally the flat sold very quickly and we were helped with the negotiating stage, which I had been concerned about. I simply can't see why anyone would spend thousands of pounds when you have a company like Sell My Home who charge a range of reasonable services to sell your home. Give them a go! We certainly will in the future. Heartfelt thanks to SMH and especially to Anna.

I have just moved into my new house. If I had to do it all again I would choose Sell my home again without a doubt. I was rather sceptical when my husband suggested we use them but I have been nothing but impressed. Communication was clear and prompt. The process was very simple, and the online booking system for managing viewings was great as I could say exactly when I was available and got a little info about prospective buyers before each viewing which was really useful.We were looked after by Felix. Very professional, helpful and extremely polite. Communication with Felix was a breeze, on the rare occasion he wasn’t available he would get back to me very quickly via telephone or email. From the initial first steps to market my Mothers property, I felt a real sense of comfort and assurance this agent was different.From the moment the photographer arrived, the photographs were taken and the 3D house tour completed, I knew I was in good hands.Whilst the journey was long and sometimes difficult, I had the fortunate help of Laura Anderson, who proved committed, dedicated and truly helpful throughout. So many questions go through your mind, often wondering if you have done the right thing....well I can assure you of this estate agent, as I had never any reason to doubt their professionalism or the level of communication along the way.The dashboard really does help you keep tabs on offers, presentation and descriptive text of your property. I used Jonathan to do the viewings, and found him to be very helpful. Essentially this enabled me to continue my working life, without having to worry about taking time off work to attend the viewings. Such a great help!I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Harry for his personal help and support, particularly when Laura returned back to her home in New Zealand.
