Hello first class and polite service in all departments every question and query answered,no legal jargon that might confuse you process very straight forward ,show them the property,they do all the rest(honest) and keep you informed all of the way through nothing is hidden all texting is replied,all documents sent to you,there is no pressure put on you through out the dealings with people up to the auction very comfortable experience ,a real pleasure to deal with them.

out of control amateurs

I was waiting for a property to go on the online auction,they said they had no legal pack and that was the delay. Then out of the blue i had a phone call telling me full and final offers by 4 pm that day if you want to offer you must sign papers to say you are happy to offer without the legal pack,they didn't even have a copy of the title or a plan of the property nothing. I had four hours of pressure and the fear of losing the property to find out what i could about the house, even with all of this risk i made the highest offer at one minute to 4 pm. then waited and waited and waited i then phoned them to be told sorry but they had a higher offer at 4.20 pm.I don't know the truth of what was happening or why.but this felt dishonest unorganized and very amateur I am seeing this sort of thing moor and moor The government need to stop this kind of unregulated and out of control behaviour

I have found the whole SDL team a pleasure to deal with, specific mention has to go to Morgan & Thomas who have both guided me through the auction process, as I had a very limited knowledge prior to my dealings with them. We have closed out two successful auctions with another seven currently underway! My vendors have also found the SDL team approachable & informative in setting up/taking them through to completion via online auction. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF MERCHANT.Charges worked out to over 3.5% of the value of the property which were not clearly communicated till after the purchase.1. Auction Entry Fee2. Separate Auction Fee 3. SDL Commission (on top of the auction fee) 4. Sellers "standard" fees...not really sure what this was for but the only explanation my solicitor got from SDL was that it was a standard fee (hidden in the small print of the contract)Wouldn't buy through them again

Excellent first experience at auction

Although I was first to bid on the property, the bidding quickly went beyond my limit & I missed out buying it at the auction. However, it didn't reach the sellers' reserve & so remained available. I registered my interest with Sam Rashid but didn't think anything would come of it because there were too many unknowns for me to increase my offer & the seller seemed unwilling to budge. I was ready to walk away & look elsewhere but Sam really encouraged me to believe I had a chance & so I invested some time & money & tracked down various experts to advise me. This enabled me to tell Sam that I had some flexibility but only if the seller was prepared to move too.Sam worked her magic. She has been a pleasure & a privilege to work with. She was obviously working well within her area of expertise & experience. By showing me how to demonstrate I was serious & poised to exchange & by explaining my reservations to the sellers in such a way that they agreed to compromise too, Sam brought us to a position where we were both prepared to proceed. As a result, I have now exchanged contracts & am looking forward to completion in a few days time. I will then be the proud owner of my first property to be purchased via an auction.
