We found a nice property online, went to view it, unlike the other estate agents we went for viewings with they actually showed us the property we wanted. Asked for a second viewing as we liked the place and wanted to double check everything. Went to sign for it and the office is nice got free drinks from the coffee machine, I had a hot chocolate it was fairly weak but made sweeter by the fact it was free, I wish I had gotten a chocomilk which is the option next to it, if you are in a similar situation to me, I would implore you to try the chocomilk. oh and the guy behind the desk was nice and helped clear any questions on the contract.

Thoroughly mediocre, even by the low low standards of student property agents. Despite paying £125 a week for a "luxury room", here is a small sample of my experience: - Wifi in the room is unusable - Very limited response to my emails to Parklane - Desk chair in my "luxury" room uncomfortable and cheap - Cant control the temperature of the shower - No towel rack in my "luxury" room - Much of the walls are covered in marks and stains - Tap constantly leaks - Door lock was and still is broken - Homeless people sleeping outside both front and back exits of the buildings for the majority of the year - very "luxurious" - Made to pay extortionate repair costs to appliances i never used

DO NOT deal with this company, useless and can't even do evening or weekend viewings or provide any information (videos or floorplan) of a property. Feel sorry for anyone selling or buying via this useless intermediary. In particular, a gentleman in the Sales team is unfriendly, unhelpful and needs a lesson in customer service.

This is the first place since I came to the UK as an international student that I want to continue to stay next year for a few reasons, but mainly I like the property and the customer service which is quite fast, reliable and handy as I can access most of the thing by internet or through the phone. I can say this is a good place to live, study and work if you are looking for a decent place and price at the same time. Highly recommended!! However I would like a more quiet flat than living with noisy flatmates. That's the only thing I hope in the future. At the moment, it is fine with other girls in the flat.

Overpriced, unprofessional and have taken 7 weeks to return deposits following incessant hassling. An unjustifiable £500 adminstration fee was just one of the hidden costs. We were charged for cleaning services at the end of the tenancy yet the house was left cleaner than we found it and they have been unable to produce an invoice for the cleaning. Admittedly they don't hassle you during the tenancy and were OK at organizing subcontractors to come in for repairs.

I have recently been living at a parklane house (1 year) and they are the worst agency, do not rent a house from them, they charged me with £200 for not cleaning some CUPBOARDS and more because some light bulbs and door handles where in a bad state (they where already like that when I arrived at the house) in total I have to pay £300+. DO NOT RENT FROM PARKLANE THEY ARE SCAMMERS

Tried to take half of the deposit off my partner "to reserve the property" before we'd even signed the contract. This isn't within the Unipol code of which they are apparently a gold member.... Was told works to repair problems the house we were to move to would be done after we had moved in. We ended up getting our money back and finding another place as the whole process seemed beyond dodgy.

Had a great stay at the Triangle this year - flatmates are a top bunch which was really important for me, as I didn't know anyone when I moved to Leeds. The Parklane team are really helpful and friendly, and my decision to stay over the summer months was dealt with really smoothly. It was also a real surprise (and treat!) to win the £1 rent for a month competition - thanks again!

Terrible company. Don't rent from these scam artists. Useless amalgamation of mismanagement, miscommunication and contractors. Their maintenance team is non existent and slow to act, they held up an active police investigation. Said they'd done a deep clean before moving in and it was honestly terrible.

We had rats living in our walls for months and they did nothing to resolve the problem. The house was filthy when we moved in (including food rotting down the side of the fridge) and then they tried to charge us £700 for cleaning.
