Tried to scam us out of our deposit. Scam 1 - Rang disputing our deposit, straight away Danny says there has been an error and a percentage of the money is sent to our account (easy error to make when your gaining) Scam 2 - The rest of the deposit? Accused the cleaner of ripping Oasis off and billing Oasis for cleaning that didn’t need doing (in tern taking our deposit) Through my persistence Danny investigated and found 'the house was left very clean’ admitting that the 2 errors lead to our deposit being taken. Apparently it was a cleaners report that stated it was very clean and so he gave our deposit back despite Oasis being charged for 'cleaning', More excuses from Danny. So the cleaner stated that the house was very clean and then charged Oasis (hmm). The cleaner obviously isn’t as good of a con artist as Oasis and Danny Danny ensured me these two ‘mistakes’ have never happened before, looking at google reviews it seems it has. You could say typical Oasis - students leaving it cleaner than moved in and then getting charged. Do not use Oasis! (Many more issues besides this!)

The worst estate agents on the face of the earth. Slow/ inexistent response to maintenance issues, scammed us for 'cleaning services' -£40 each, though we left the house cleaner than we found it - there had been decorating work done before we moved in and there was dust/ equipment and decorating materials everywhere. This is clearly a common complaint among their tenants. Staff were rude and slimey to the extreme. Do yourself a favour and camp on Woodhouse Moor to avoid living in one of their managed houses, it will probably be more enjoyable.

Worst Letting Agents in Leeds. Terrible Communication and Customer Service! During My time renting with Oasis I found the service terrible. The Oven in the property was broken and an engineer called out and confirmed it was broken, after multiple emails and calls to Oasis the oven wasnt repaired so I went half my tenancy without the use of an Oven. Upon leaving the property I had a team of cleaners clean the house (which I paid for) and Oasis still tried to take £160 out of my deposit for 'Cleaning'. After disputing this and multiple emails and calls to Oasis I still have no had an answer as to what the 'Cleaning' charges were or am I any closer to getting my deposit back. I would not recommend anyone to use Oasis Properties.

I used oasis last year for my student accommodation. When I first moved into the property was filthy and the fridge didn't work. Two out of three wardrobes were falling apart and the whole place was damp. Over the first month I battled with them to come and fix these issues, I didn't have a proper working fridge for weeks and the flat never got cleaned (i gave up trying after several months). They seem to have a total lack of organisation and would break the tenancy agreement when it suited them. At the end of the rent we left the place in a cleaner state than it came in and were charged £150 each for cleaning, out of our deposit. Having disputed this they have gone completely off the radar and I have struggled to get hold of them (or my deposit) since. I would strongly advise anyone considering using these guys to steer clear, its just not worth it!

When you think of criminals, what springs to mind? Lying? Thieving? Well, thats Oasis Properties for you. We have had a number of issues with Oasis, from them lying about rent payments to with-holding a £100 signing bonus for no apparent reason. They forced us as tenants to move in 4 weeks later than we intended by lying to us, and made us pay for this month. They're cowboys who just want your money. Stay away!

Worst estate agents I have ever dealt with, major issues with them over some years now, repeatedly blatantly and unashamedly lied, led to major altercations and police call-outs, will say anything to get you to sign on the dotted line, and then they don't give a damn, staff seem to be specially trained in being as rude and unhelpful as possible. Made so many people's lives a misery for a long time. BEWARE, especially if you're a student.

Absolutely awful. Won’t reply to your emails 90% of the time, will let themselves into the house with no notice (illegally) and then not lock the door behind them. If you have mould they won’t get rid of it, just put something over it and also just let the house fall apart generally. After having 5 different student landlords in leeds these are 100% the worst, they don’t want to help and basically steal money off you.

I would’ve given them 0 stars if there was option. Horrible lettings agents, false promises, and absolutely zero regard for tenants. I and three other tenants moved into a property which had not been cleaned, decorated, properly cleared of the last tenant’s belongings, household appliances not working, and the list goes on and on and on… If you’re considering a lease with Oasis, I very highly suggest against it.. unless you’re looking to star in the series ‘Homes Under the Hammer’.

Calling them the absolute worst letting agency ever is an understatement - avoid at all costs. Just want to make as much money as possible with 0 care for their tenants. Make the tenants feel like the problems are their fault when the issues are caused by cowboy building and dodgy plumbing. Advertised our house as a 6 bed with all en suites when 4/6 bathrooms had problems meaning we did not have the service that we signed for all year. Zero sympathy or desire to help. Had wastewater leaking out of the back of the house into the kitchen window for the last few months, people came to “fix” it but it was never fixed. The morning we were moving out someone came to jet wash it to make it look appealing for the new tenants. Oasis are all about image and no substance. Definitely avoid. They might appear nice at first but once you’ve signed the tenancy it’s a different story.

Worst letting company invented. Made us live in a cold, damp house. Ceiling fell in, promised us loads that never happened. Then sent some student around at the end who said everything was fine the house was cleaned by all out parents and they charged us for a clean. They shy away from emails, take ages getting deposits back and are sharks in the renting world

Extremely disappointing experience! Fail to respond to emails, fail to rectify problems with any urgency, my friend had to sleep on the floor for a week! Charged us £180 for cleaning even though the house was spotless and left in a better condition than when we moved in! Avoid these people, they are constantly rude, and I don't know how they are still going! Useless!

Avoid this letting agency at all costs - would be leaving 0 stars if possible. My experience with oasis properties began with them expecting us to move into a house that was full of mould and damp, with wallpaper pinned onto the wall, no desks and chairs in any of the rooms as promised, as well as no other amenities that were promised and were also not there. Moreover, what was actually in the house was no better, with broken beds, broken stools, broken showers, a loose front door handle showing the lack of safety of the house as well as everything else you could probably think of to be wrong with a house. The house itself was also absolutely filthy, words cannot even describe this, obviously none of the workers actually went in to visit this or check it was liveable, and so waived off all of our complaints - still making us pay rent the whole time the house was in this condition. To then make matters worse, the house flooded leaving it completely uninhabitable, yet they would still not let us out of our contract. After huge attempts of calling up various solicitors, as well as the council, Oasis somehow managed to find other tenants for 2 St Michaels Terrace and we were then allowed out of our contract. Following this, we then had to constantly insist in getting our deposit returned to us, which after weeks it finally came back to us, yet they sent us a lower amount than previously agreed. Again this had to also be chased up. I would not want any other tenants to go through this experience, and to continue to for some reason fund this company - avoid by all means necessary.

Honestly could not recommend this place any less. Didn’t even spend 24 hours in the property they let to us before we demanded out of the contract. The property had mould in places, the walls were damp and leaking, the boiler didn’t work and they dismissed it instead of sending someone to fix it, half of the appliances were missing or didn’t work, in the middle of the night we found bugs such as earwigs and woodlouse crawling around. When we arrived to collect the keys, they told us they could only find one key for the 3 bed property, and that the others were missing, how is that at all safe?! Letting us into a property which anyone at all could have the other keys to? On the website we were told it was an all inclusive property, which we were told when we moved in that they decided they were then going to charge us for bills such as gas and electric, there was no mention of that at all in the emails. If you are looking for a safe and liveable place to stay during your academic year, i advise you to look elsewhere because this company has caused me nothing but stress and upset leaving me homeless until I find somewhere else. Would leave 0 stars if i could.

Terrible service to say the least. Cowboy builders and awful admin! I have recently rented with Oasis Properties & moved out over a month ago. But yet to receive my agreed deposit. We have sent the appropriate information in a timely fashion to receive our deposit but still seem to be empty handed. Oasis Properties are unable to be proactive or honest in regards to our deposit redress, I've never experienced such poor organisation and bad service. I highly recommend to avoid this agency.

We've had a lot of maintenance issues that have needed constant chasing up. They were quick to fix the small issues, however we've had a leaky roof for two months that has received very little attention and communication to us about the issue has been extremely poor. Generally very nice, helpful guys however, so if you're house has few issues they're reasonable letting agents.

By far one of the most dishonest letting agencies around. Constantly lying to tenants year-in-year out, stating that Hyde Park is an exclusively student area, despite the fact they are well aware of families living in the area . ***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Tried to take advantage of first time student renters - tried to scam us out of deposit for so called cleaning bill for £300 when the house was left immaculate - in better condition than when we moved in. Appalling communication skills. Unpleasant and unhelpful staff. Would avoid this letting agent like the plague.

dirty houses, only friendly until they get their admin and first month's rent. if you do go with oasis say goodbye to your bond as they will do everything in their power to keep it. and dont forget about all the hidden charges at the end of the year unless you go with them again. just as bad as Avatar

Worst experience, if you’re a student looking for a letting agency honestly do not go with oasis properties. House may look fine in the viewing but it’s full of broken pipes, leaks, mould etc. even when you report these problems they never get fixed, you won’t get any compensation and still be charged rent for living in a slum. Don’t even consider. Honestly don’t even know how this agency is still going

They are Full of fake promises and barely respond to emails. they turn up without any notice a lot, for the price you pay, which is already too much they will also try and squeeze money out of you by over charging you for a lock on bedrooms doors which should be included for safety and privacy reasons. We found this house not in a clean state at all and before moving out, want it cleaned or they are going to charge us for cleaner's. Not a good STUDENT letting agency at all and won't be going with them again.

Only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me put 0. avoid like the effing plague. awful damp all over one side of the house they refuse to treat. so bad that it trips the electrics. Staff are rude as hell. really difficult to get them to sort out any issues. Sent someone round to paint 'flaking wall' (endemic damp) HALF AN HOUR before a viewing without telling us... during a pandemic. he wasnt wearing a mask. rang the agency to complain and the staff member hung up on me. TERRIBLE customer service, expensive rent for an awful house with brick effect wallpaper, poor poor poor all round.

My son’s house has been without hot water for months! They first reported it on 22/7/20. They have had 3 visits from engineers in this time. One called today friday, but they waited in all day wed and thurs and again today. Now told the boiler needs a part and will be back in monday. I’ve been calling the office and no answer. I’m going to make an offical complaint tomorrow and also personally write to the landlord of the house. The day my son moved in, 2 rooms in the house were filthy and oasis were insistent that the property had had a deep clean. They accepted it wasn’t clean when I emailed them pictures. No apology though! Very bad service. Do NOT use them
