GoogleMy son moved into a house that had paint scrapings and decorating rubbish in his room. Whole house is dirty and unworthy for rent. Called up the emergency line about water leaking into fire alarm and the guy on the phone said its not an emergency having the fire alarm going all night so no sleep plus no working fire alarms???? Stay well away from Oasis Leeds

GoogleNot student friendly and incompetent. I would never recommend this agency to another student. As a student they do not take you seriously and do not take your views or health into consideration. Extensive mould took 6 months to be seen to. Despite prompting countless times over the winter, the agents continually claimed the mould problems were “fixed” by informing us to open our windows and spraying over the mould. In addition to this they tried to keep the deposit by incorrectly claiming we were not bills inclusive: They assume students are not going to question them. This is either incompetence on their part, or deceit in purposefully trying to keep students’ deposit. It should not claim to specialise in STUDENT accommodation.

GoogleMany of the issues were resolved quickly, the cleaners provided by Oasis are good fun and offer a very good service so long as you respect them. Only reason for not being 5 stars is because of the length of time it took to change the sofas which had been completely ruined by the previous tenants. For estate agents in Hyde Park and surrounding areas I would recommend them to others. The house that we had was good value for money and was what we needed to have a very enjoyable year in Leeds.

GoogleRubbish.... When we moved in the house wasn't clean, hadn't done the jobs they had promised. The front window was hanging off and wires were coming out the walls. The roof continually leaked the whole year we lived there and holes in the walls. No interest in fixing the place

GoogleAppalling Agency!!! Don't be fooled by the modern properties!! Maintenance issues never solved. Reported numerous of times that our boiler was shared with the flat below meaning 90% of living within the property we had NO hot water or heating due to the controls being in someone else flat! When we told them we weren't paying our bills due to this problem may I add in the middle of winter, on any occasions staff would respond with " at the End of the day, we've provided a roof over your head". The maintenance 'team' aka Dumb and Dumber often do half a job, make more mess than the issue itself and sit in their blue van outside the property twiddling their thumbs. Most staff are extremely rude and very sarcastic. Would NOT recommend!!

GoogleI have been with Oasis Properties for the last year and the whole experience was great. Found the guys to be really helpful whenever I had an issue, they were efficient with getting anything fixed. They were always friendly and ready to help. No problems at all. Great service.

GoogleTHIS IS AN AGENCY USED BY UNSCRUPULOUS LANDLORDS WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF STUDENTS. THE HOUSE WAS FILTHY ON ARRIVAL, RAT INFESTED PROPERTY WHICH WAS NOT RECTIFIED. THEIR TENANCY AGREEMENT IS WEIGHTED ON THE SIDE OF THE LANDLORD AND NOT PRESENTED TO GUARANTORS UNTIL AFTER STUDENTS HAVE SIGNED. NO DEPOSITS WERE RETURNED DESPITE LEAVING THE HOUSE MUCH CLEANER THAN WE FOUND IT. ALSO IF YOU DECIDE TO TAKE THESE PEOPLE TO COURT YOU WILL END UP PAYING ALL THEIR LEGAL FEES WHILST THE FAT CAT LANDLORDS LIVE IT UP ABROAD.

GoogleBy far the worst student landlords for properties in Headingly, both in personal experience and from that of friends. It takes multiple requests to get anything repaired/maintained and the extent to which things are repaired is shocking and quite frankly a health risk (we had black mould in one bedroom, the repair Oasis issued was to screw a board over the mould); the front desk staff are patronising and their bookkeeping is either sub-par or something shady is going on as they tried telling us we had paid £100 less than we had for our deposit; we had bailiffs round at the house because the money we were paying Oasis for our 'all inclusive bills' was not actually being paid to the utility suppliers; the list goes on. I could not recommended avoiding a landlord more.

GoogleTerrible estate agents, very unprofessional and they don't care about their clients. They have turned up at the house for a viewing at 10am on a Saturday without giving any notice at all, not only that she tried to enter my bedroom without even knocking and had I not put my own lock on the inside of the door she would have been greeted by me and my girlfriend sprawled naked across the bed. When they actually do decide to give us notice by texting us to inform that they have a viewing planned at the crack of dawn on a Saturday, you'll get yourself up to make yourself decent, and they either wont turn up, or arrive several hours later. Our house was also terrible with a boiler that broke every 2 weeks, crappy cheap sofas with frames seemingly made of Styrofoam, and a fridge freezer that was about as cold as a cupboard.

GoogleWe were supposed to view 3 properties with Oasis today, I had arranged them about 2 days ago. When we arrived we were told that two of the properties we were meant to be viewing weren't available anymore. Out of courtesy I expect to be told this before the viewings, as those 2 were the only ones we were really there for. While we were waiting they were calling up their tenants and very rudely demanding money. It was a terrible first impression and we just wanted to get out of there. Seems that they have forgotten who the customer is. Reminded me of how estate agents used to treat me when I was a student (terribly) and I imagine they still thought we were. Would never give them any business.

GoogleSigned for a property on the basis it was being refurbished for our arrival. This never happened. Mould in the basement room resulted in a chronic chest infection not to mention issues with rats from an industrial bin and the property having no front door. Issues often took many months to resolve. As a student i recommend you avoid. Shop around early and view as many as possible to avoid tough learning experiences.

GoogleAbsolutely shocking. Apparently it cost them £200+ for cleaning when our flat was clean. They didn't fix anything the whole year we were with them and have just proceeded to rip us off. Never in my life would I recommend these to anyone. Vile company.

GoogleHad a lucky escape from renting with oasis. The guy showing us around didn't even know which rooms were available to rent. He ended up showing us 4 rooms, and the room I wanted had already been reserved by someone else earlier that day. Poor communication between colleagues here and very disorganised.

GoogleFriendly and welcoming staff. Very transparent and clear at every stage so there's no confusion and you can be sure they aren't hiding anything from you - perfect for first time renters. Great communication, will always inform of cleaners/contractors coming and respond to emails quickly. Have a fab team of specialised maintenance staff who often resolve issues on same day. Never had any issues and would highly recommend!

GoogleReally helpful :) looking for a 3 bed house/flat for July time. Walked into the office and went to view houses immediately. Showed us this lovely house, in our price range, very talkative, wanted to help us at all times, really happy with the house and the service :)

GoogleShame I can't put 0 stars. Please avoid using their services at all costs! Extremely poor customer service, my son and his friends were charged a month's rental for a house that was completely inhabitable, and refused to reimburse them. I'd advice anyone to stay homeless instead of staying in a house through them!!
