GoogleAll the staff are really helpful and friendly , gave us new carpets and sofas and repainted the whole house for us. Never had any problems with anybody working there and they go out of their way for us. Julian went out of his way for us and managed to allow us to have a dog which has made a difference to both of us. Would like to say thank you to all the staff for being so accommodating

GoogleVery poor apart from telling you when they want something. They were pretty much useless throughout my entire tenancy, not the kind of landlord you can rely on.
At the start of the year the letterboxes had the locks ripped out and they were in exactly the same state when I left. During their earliest and probably only inspection I reported a problem with the toilet directly to someone, who wrote it down and assured me it would get sorted it was 'on the list'. No one ever came, I had to fix it myself.
There was another time where the downstairs fire alarm broke and was ringing constantly and incredibly loudly, it went on like that for the entire weekend with oasis essentially refusing to send anyone because it wasn't an emergency, even though the people downstairs had to leave for the weekend because they physically couldn't stand it, it was literally painful.
The worst came at the end of my tenancy though, where they basically stole £120 from my deposit with no kind of explanation, the flat was in a fine condition when I left it and they didn't even bother replying to my email asking what was going on.
They are 100% profit driven and barely give the tenants a second thought. The only reason I didn't give one star was because they largely leave you alone and give you fair warning before viewings and inspections but consider this review a warning - if you want a trustworthy and reliable landlord look elsewhere, although I did have a very nice flat.

GoogleAVOID AT ALL COSTS
Property we signed for was in an abysmal state of affairs - damp in several rooms and damage to the walls and kitchen table. Back door didn't have a working lock and the lock on the front door was a joke. Despite this we were told we weren't allowed to have locks on ours doors which we duly ignored and paid for anyway - the security of the house was genuinely a cause for concern considering some neighbours were burgled almost as soon as they arrived. We had the pleasure of having the last tenants broken leftovers in the front 'garden' which featured an overgrown weed adjacent to the door to bring some life to the surrounding littered concrete.
During the tenancy the estate agents were slow to respond to complaints or maintenance requests. The maintenance fellow they sent whilst pleasant made very ad hoc attempts to address issues. Mould was covered with plastic sheets and the debris from the drilling left for us to clean. He also frequented us with such delights as taking off the shower heads when resealing the disgusting showers and forgetting to put them back on as well as taking them home and painting door frames and banisters unannounced resulting in many a soiled article of clothing and hand. We were promised 32" TVs for when we moved in which arrived months late and around 15"s smaller than promised.
Now we have left we've had our £2000 deposit slashed by nearly £1000 for a variety of farces such as a '£270 professional cleaning charge' despite the fact the property was left in better condition than when we arrived and that the last tenant left the property at around 3pm on the 30th and the new tenants moved in on the 1st at around 12pm. We were also charged more than £300 for "maintenance costs" which as far as I'm concerned are the responsibility of the landlord anyway... The icing on the cake was the estate agent finally declaring that we couldn't even get the much slimmer remains of our deposit until we secured a council tax exemption form for the duration of the tenancy (yes they told us this two weeks after our tenancy ended) which had never been brought up before nor had we been made aware that this was the case!!
Awful service, please avoid to give me peace of mind that other people won't have to endure Oasis Properties.

GoogleI believe that the sheer incompetence of this company should be recognised publicly. Since Summer of 2023 my room has had been flooded, and remained damp. Construction Work was meant to have fixed the issues, but once again water has seeped through the carpet in my bedroom.
Additional issues we have experience have included:
- electrics tripping when the certain showers are turned on.
- electrics tripping when the hob is switched on.
- Alarm systems not working, or getting set off.
I highly would not recommend renting 9 St Michaels Crescent.

There were some maintenance problems that needed attending to when we moved in in July; but these were all done very quickly and we have all been very happy in the house. I am a 3rd year and Oasis are by far the best agents we have had. I would definitely recommend.

GoogleWe had to change our tenant and the whole process had been incredibly difficult with members of staff being very vague and unhelpful which meant some of the house members went in to the office to try and sort it out. A week or so later they messed up the rent collection contract again and when calling and trying to explain an employee said we’ve dealt with this a hundred times when you came in and hung up on me. I called back again and luckily got someone more helpful who realised we were right and that they had actually undercharged us a months rent and sorted this out. The whole business seems to be very unprofessional and not really know what they’re doing.
Update: spoke to Danny about this situation and he was very helpful and if it was based on his responses alone would have been 5 stars.

GoogleWe found Oasis Properties to be very helpful and professional. We were looking for a refurbed house in Headingly for our final year at university and they were very quick in tending to our needs and found us just what we were looking for. An always helpful and reliable team on hand that we’re very quick to respond to any maintenance issues that arose during our lease.
There was a lovely girl called Danielle that dealt with our enquiry from start to finish, she was very welcoming and instantly made us feel at ease.
We would most definitely recommend!

GoogleDO NOT USE OASIS.
Paying for WiFi and TV which they refuse to deliver. Plug sockets faulty, blinds broken, wardrobes broken all which I have emailed about repairs to no response.
Consistently contradicting themselves and backtracking on promises.
Property was supposed to be fully redecorated when we moved in which we are paying for and still have had no word.
Awful- I can'trecommend them any less.

GoogleI am currently a tenant of Oasis properties.
I would like to start by saying how unpleasant the reception staff are. Georgina, who works at the front desk is unfriendly, unpleasant and rude. I went to pick up my keys when first moving into my house, Georgina and a blonde haired girl whose name I do not know gave me my key, and went on play a game of guess the alarm code. They then told me, if it doesn't work, to come back or to call up, and that they would then find out what the working code was. The cleaners had to be called back to the house minutes after leaving, as they spent most of the time having a domestic in our kitchen, and failed to actually clean it.
Although they failed at the very first hurdle, we let it go, and were happy to be in our first student house.
During the first weeks they were reasonably efficient at sorting many small problems out. Although this did not last long.
Since then we have had a lot of issues, not just with the house but with the attitude and a complete lack of communication on their part.
The handyman who Oasis sends out to deal with a lot of issues is very nice and friendly, however it seems everyone we meet who knows or works with oasis properties, is exasperated by how useless they are.
We discovered we had silverfish just before Christmas, and were told that it would be sorted that very same day. Knowing this, myself and my flatmate stayed in to wait for them. Now i'm not a silverfish expert, I don't know how long it takes to fumigate a WHOLE house (10 rooms and 3 hallways to be exact), but they appeared somewhere in the maximum of 30 minutes we were out the house that day... So one week later and we were not surprised to discovered we still had silverfish. If you dont know what silverfish are please look them up, they will make your skin crawl.
So I am currently writing this review in anger at our latest problem. We have had no hot water, or central heating for 5 days now (not that we are counting). It is the middle of January, the weather forecast shows it is going to snow tonight. I have emailed Oasis a number of times, and tried to get in contact with them. We have heard NOTHING from them.
If the first semester has been this dreadful, I dread to think what this second semester is going to bring. Please do not make the same mistake as us and our friends, who have also had the displeasure of meeting Oasis properties. The stress is just unnecessary. Save yourself the hassle and just look somewhere else.
Furthermore all the good comments written on this page, google their names, they're all landlords renting houses through Oasis properties. HAHAHAHA!

GoogleVery unhelpful and unorganised, i spent two years in houses by oasis the first year was great as we were dealt with by the landlord and had his personal number so that we could contact him with any issues. A week till i finish uni completely and still haven't received my deposit back from my house in second year. Third year we are in a house completely owned by oasis and they have been terrible the fire alarm broke and they did not come to fix it, the heating was out for two weeks and they were not bothered at all, this was around december. They also email and day "i trust this is okay" no i trust it is not okay that you bring people into my room at stupid o'clock to let them view the house especially with a days notice, and some days they don't give you any notice at all. I haven't had too much problem with the staff unless it comes down to money which i am all way's pretty good with. i mainly found them completely unhelpful. I honestly would avoid using this company if i was you.

GoogleThe worst estate agents on the face of the earth. Slow/ inexistent response to maintenance issues, scammed us for 'cleaning services' -£40 each, though we left the house cleaner than we found it - there had been decorating work done before we moved in and there was dust/ equipment and decorating materials everywhere. This is clearly a common complaint among their tenants. Staff were rude and slimey to the extreme. Do yourself a favour and camp on Woodhouse Moor to avoid living in one of their managed houses, it will probably be more enjoyable.

GoogleHonestly the worst agents in the whole of Leeds. We signed a property with oasis during our second year of university and faced an alarming number of issues that were sorted out after months of asking if ever. These include - a rat infestation, broken boiler throughout December and January, the basement room flooding and a broken dishwasher throughout the entirety of our tenancy. To top this off they charged us ridiculous amounts for cleaning and maintenance after our tenancy was over!
We felt completely ripped off by this horrendous company and if you have any sense please avoid.

GooglePlease do not use Oasis Properties. They are full of empty promises, conveniently never written down, and will be consistently rude throughout your time dealing with them. The manager, James Rosenburg, is condescending and patronising, and has been rude to us (the tenants) on several occasions. When we first viewed the house in February, and saw the horrific state it was in, we were promised that it would be completely refurbished (from top to bottom), sadly this was only a verbal agreement, but it was the sole reason we signed the damp smelling house. We then visited the house soon after we started paying rent for the house (early July) and the house was in the same state as it was in February, we were reassured that this was because they had not had enough time to clean and repair since the previous tenants had moved out (I believe this is bad practice anyway, as we should be able to move in from the date we started paying rent). Several major issues such as the mouldy lino on the kitchen floor took months to be fixed and the majority of the issues (such as the disgusting state of the house) had not been resolved when we moved into the property on the 17th of September, even though Oasis had written notice of the issues since early July. We have had major issues in the house such as roof/wall leaks, the shower leaking through a smoke detector, the boiler breaking leaving us with no hot water or heating for several days and air trapped in our heating system creating a horrifically loud banging noise (to name but a few issues). I would never rent from them again and I have been actively encouraging others to not even contemplate renting or even looking at the properties they let.

Very unorganised and they don't care about the students! We were promised to be moving into a house that would be done up and with a tv! Showers, fridges, tv, furniture and much much moe are not working and they don't seem to care! Constantly calling and waiting to see if anything will get done! GoogleAs a tenant with Oasis for the last year of university, they have been great with sorting issues I have brought to them. Although our property was not the Ritz, they did not hide anything and it was a fair price for student accommodation. Although we had issues with the property, they were fast to react to any complaints and always sent a guy round to sort it within 24hours. I would recommend Oasis over any other estate agency in Headingley, especially over central properties! Thanks guys!

GoogleDo not let from this estate agents. Oasis are notoriously bad with paying deposits back. A group of four of us rented from them and each paid £200 (£800 Total). Throughout the tenancy there was problems with the house (Heating and hot water not working, mold in a number of rooms, leaking shower and the front door of the house did not work.) We went in multiple times to fix all these problems but took over a month each time for them to get anything sorted. After all these problems which were entirely down to the condition of the house we were only offered around £350 total deposit back. Finally Oasis or the Landlord arranged for all the trees in the garden to be cut down and were just left in a pile. Becuae of this we couldn't use the garden for the final 3 months of our rental agreement. They then tried to blame this on us and i assume they took the removal of this from our deposit. The house obviously had many problems to begin with, shown by the fact they completely renovated it once we had moved out .To top this all off we also paid £100 for a company to come round and clean the house (Which they spent 5 hours doing) Do not use oasis properties i have had other people tell me similar stories to ours.

GoogleBy far the worst company I have ever dealt with.
I was a tenant with them for my second year of university and regretted choosing them ever since. Upon visiting the property for the first time it became quickly apparent that we would not be able to live there for a long time, despite us already paying our rent. This went on for three months until finally they had cleaned the floors, replaced the broken furniture and fixed all the electrics. It took them weeks, sometimes months to reply to emails regarding faults with the property (of which the list was literally pages long) and standing orders for rent which were incorrectly calculated.
We were on a bills-inclusive contract and still they tried to chase us down after our tenancy had ended for over a thousand pounds. I am still in the process of attempting to recover our deposit, half a month after they declared it would be returned. I've heard the same story from numerous friends who were unlucky enough to be with them last year, all still awaiting their deposits back.
They are by all definitions of the word, criminals and should not be trusted.
I can't encourage people enough to avoid this company, they are incompetent and crafty with everything they do. From fixing faults with their properties to underhandedly withholding tenant's money from them.

They've been flexible in cooperating with us and have been quick to get things done.
For example- we bought a tv and wanted it put on the wall so they put it up for us within a week.
They've also changed other things in bedrooms such as mirrors and mattresses for us.
They've even been flexible with payments when we had to wait for loans to come in.
