Ebony’s excellent customer service

The customer service received from Ebony has been excellent from start to finish! We were coming to the end of our tenancy and she was on the ball from the get go, replying to emails efficiently and handling any questions I had or queries regarding the deposit etc. I would highly recommend Ebony at Linley & Simpson for the great service she provided and her friendly and approachable demeanour. Chelsea and Ellie made quick responses to view requests and emails, gave friendly and personal guidance to the tenant application & referencing process new to me. Honest answer to other viewing requests so I could gauge how quickly I needed to apply. Extended dates when I had problems submitting documents. Harry Russell managed our let agreement process. He was very kind and helpful, making sure to answer all of our questions and accomodate our viewing and other requests. There were some delays in our referencing process. Overall, our experience with the agency was good, although with some organisational issues (i.e. about receiving different information regarding when and how to go about getting the keys), and Harry was very supportive through all of it.

Seb was so lovely at the viewing and accommodating when the original flat was taken off the market. Kelly was also really nice while I was in correspondence with her during the tenancy signing and when I came to the office to collect my keys. Property Viewing - Excellent hosting and support

Ben met us at the entrance, ready at the appointment time. He was very patient, my wife uses a wheelchair, and he gave us suitable time to check the property was suitable for our specific needs. Ben was very knowledgeable about the property explaining the features including electrics, boiler system, roof lights and kitchen facilities. Ben also explained next steps. Very happy with this experience and as a result we have applied to proceed.

I had a great experience with this branch for a flat purchase that i completed on today. Eesha who i viewed the flat with was really friendly and helpful at the start of the process and throughout. Alix then handled the sales process and was equally polite, friendly and efficient. Both were very responsive to any queries i had and happy to liaise with the seller and their solicitors to move the process forward. Between them, the process was a lot less stressful than i've experienced in the past!! Words cannot express my gratitude to Andy Bonner and Alix Shaw and the entire team at Linley & Simpson. The letting off my penthouse property at Balmoral Place was managed by Linley & Simpson and their predecessors from 2007 and over the years they have been kind and courteous, and successfully managed several extremely difficult issues. The property finally went on the Market in October of last year and completed last week - at the asking price. The first accepted offer fell through due to the prospective buyer’s personal issues, but the actual buyer then completed in under four months. This was actually a rapid turn-around due to the complexity of selling a tenanted, fully-furnished serviced apartment with a balcony which is over 18m. Without Andy’s Herculean efforts, backed up by Alix and the team, it simply would not have happened. This sale represents a seismic shift in my life and I am now free to follow my dreams. I will be forever grateful to Andy and his marvellous team.

Matt Kendrick and the lettings team have done a great job in organising a straight forward check out for our departing tenant and giving advice regarding updating works required to attract a new tenant. The process was managed by Matt throughout, including a full redecoration and new flooring, with the lettings team securing a tenant within days of the flat going onto the market. Jade was the loveliest and most helpful estate agent we dealt with. She showed me multiple properties focusing on exactly what I wanted. She kept me informed and kept in easy contact with me on WhatsApp. When the first viewings were not suitable, she narrowed it down to other flats that would be more suitable. Linley and Simpson show you a range of available properties that you're interested in, in one appointment. This works much better than other estate agents, where we were always chasing after places that had already been snapped up, trying to find an appointment when all estate agents and properties were booked up, and taking time to come over to Leeds just to view one place (or they would cancel)! So, thank you, Jade, for making it all a much easier process.

We had a previous tenant who didn't pay their last bill with the energy supplier. Two years later the energy company has contacted us (as the landlords) demanging payment. All rather unpleasant.
