TrustpilotHorrible Company, Do not use them.
They are very lazy with their work and don't try as much compared to other firms we've interacted with. They made multiple basic spelling mistakes in the detailing of certain properties, such as 'life support' instead of 'lift support' and somehow misspelling 'appliances'. They also have poor communications between potential tenants and letting people, telling us 15 minutes AFTER the designated time that the tenants would not be coming, even though the arrival was booked a week in advance.

GoogleA massive thank you to Hunters for getting us into our flat ASAP and the biggest thank you to Paul on behalf of the viewings. Email responses were quick and they kept us in the loop throughout the process. We tried a few other agents in Leeds and by far this was the best one. Thanks so much.

I recently sold 3 houses with Hunters in Gateshead and I have to say Hunters did a job a great job for me. A couple of the sales were not straight forward but they managed to get the sales over the line and and showed great worth ethic and professionalism. Rob is always on the other side of the phone going the extra mile to help out. They also managed my rentals and did an amazing job finding me great tenants. I have no doubt in recommending their services to anyone looking to buy sell or rent property in Gateshead and around. Anthony Jowers

TrustpilotReally slow in replying to anything pretty much
If you ever need them pretty much they are very slack in responding to emails or phone calls. We moved out of our house on 2nd July and have only got our deposit back today (16 days later) this is with no disputes. Basically if they want something they will be quick to act, if you require something they'll fob you off, and they're taking over yorkshire by the sounds of it.

GoogleI’ve used hunters for about 8 years now in Leeds city centre and wouldn’t dream of using anyone else. The whole team go above and beyond to give absolutely fantastic service and I always feel very reassured that they’re looking after me and my properties. A huge thank you in particular to Alessandro who just sorted out a renewal for me, keeping me up-to-date every step of the way.

I would give zero it i could. In disrepair for two years. Dont know were to start. Electics, mould, guttering, blocked toilets, firealarms. Dog poo on the floor when moving in. Overgrown ivy on the walls etc etc. im begging you dont rent from them. Fail to attend apointments etc

I would highly recommend this Estate Agent who helped us sell our flat. We all knew how difficult and hard to sell a flat now adays, let alone is a high rise building. I would personally recommend Jabjeet one of the estate agent who assist us sell our flat. who is a very professional, responsive and attentive to details. What to say, utterly unprofessional estate agent. Some properties are for sale in ivyhouse road that we like to view, seen it in Zoopla. And was told that property is sold couple of weeks ago, off hand. I am sure as an agent they have access to the account and very easy to put it STC, rather than making people running around.

I have just recently moved out of a property that Hunters in Baldock were managing I can’t believe in the difficult times with the pandemic how absolutely professional and efficient they have been. Both Claire and Chloe were brilliant. Supported me through the exit all the way, made sure the deposit was quickly paid back quickly and fairly, at no point did I feel money was being held unnecessarily.I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of letting their home

GoogleFriendly and helpful estate agents. Got a nice flat secured with no issues and Scott was helpful and answered all our questions at the viewing. He fed back to the landlord that we mentioned wanting a smaller table and was pleasantly surprised it was sorted before we moved in! Would recommend.

My experience with this letting agent is absolutely amazing. Dealt with the Wembley branch. The agent who helped me was Sam! He was a life-saver in my long search for a place to live. He was understanding, professional, helpful and friendly. He found me a place within a few hours!!! He truly knows what he is doing!!! Hunters (Harlington)- The agents and landlords prioritize money over tenant well-being and are quick to take your deposit while ignoring maintenance requests. Despite multiple issues in our apartment, including faulty electrical work, mold, and poor plumbing that allowed mice to enter, nothing was addressed. However, the landlord was eager to withhold our deposit to "fix" these issues, only to rent the unit out immediately without making any real repairs. Communication is terrible; agents rarely respond to emails or resolve concerns but are quick to chase tenants for payments. Be cautious when dealing with them.

Unfortunately, estate agents usually have exclusive rights on properties and if you find a property you really like, you will have to go through them whether you like it or not.It's also likely that you will only see this review when you have already had problems with Hunters, but just in case this helps anyone, here's my recommendation: avoid them entirely, find another property you like if they are managing it exclusively.After I ended my tenancy, they kept me waiting for weeks and weeks without any kind of information. I could've waited to receive the money of the deposit, but I couldn't accept is the complete neglect and lack of updates they put me through. They didn't return calls (when i called they were always busy) and never answered emails.After trying to contact them again and again, they only decided to do something when I said I would take them to the small claims court if necesary, Even with that, they did reply but with lots of nonsensical excuses.After I got my money I found out that the landlord, unlike me, had been in the loop for everything.I wasn't even notified about the meter readings taken on check-out day by the clerk so that I could close my accounts.Why was I treated so differently? Well, simple, they don't care about tenants, only landlords, because they are the ones giving them their cut, not us.Also, the agents were the ones holding my deposit, so the later the better for them. They were clearly not in a rush to return my deposit.Absolutely unprofessional behaviour from a big estate agent that has offices in multiple places. This is a money-making machine with no consideration for tenants.

Nicole Coombes at Hunters estate agents, Middleton; has helped me and my partner (first time buyers and we had no clue about the processes of purchasing a property) she talked and helped us through step by step and made each step clear and understandable. she also did this with such a warm, friendly and professional manner plus she was so patient with me throughout. i would certainly recommend hunters and certainly Nicole Coombes was just fablous with us. we now, thanks to nicole at hunters, moved into out first, soon to be family home
