A highly professional organisation who took the strain out of selling my property. They gave me a realistic price based on market conditions and considering the benefits of not having to pay solicitors fees etc. Sophie was absolutely fantastic in providing me updates and feedback whilst selling my house. I could have not asked for a better agent. The sale took a little longer than anticipated due to covid but she always kept me informed at every stage. It was a real pleasure dealing with her and anyone that gets Sophie working for them will be satisfied. A massive thank you for getting my sale through before Christmas!

I found Goodmove excellent for my house sale despite the difficult times we’re living in at present. Sophie was brilliant at securing viewings and a buyer even with the difficult tenants I had at the time. Without her I think I would have given up.Then onto Dalia, another excellent young lady in Sales Progression. She had her work cut out dealing with the Covid situation along with the tenants and a (sometimes) very stressed me. But we got there, everything took longer than we anticipated and hoped but completion done. A mention about Robert too, an excellent chap who dealt with the viewings and came to me at home to get all the documents signed on a Saturday lunchtime. I don’t hesitate in recommending Goodmove and if you’re lucky enough to get the Dream team I had, just sit back and let them do their stuff and you won’t be sorry

We recently used GoodMove for moving both from ours to storage and then again out of storage. We also included packing. The whole situation was beyond stressful but i can honestly say that everyone in the goodmove team made things feel so much easier. I would completely recommend them to anyone especially within the Colchester area. Just a shout out to Jamie for making us feel safe and comfortable with him around when packing, Greg for his friendliness, professionalism and ability to not scratch walls with a sofa (so impressed) and George who nothing was to big of an issue even my occasional moaning. Looking to potentially up-size to a new build apartment, I was looking to make a quick sale on my current one bedroom apartment, and entered my details on a few websites with the most pleasant of all companies being Good Move.I liaised with Richard who explained how the company worked and gave me a fair value for my apartment. The main thing that got to me was that there were no pressure selling techniques whatsoever. I spoke to Richard first time on the Thursday and received no other communication until a quick text message the following Wednesday asking how I was getting along. All the other comparison sites I requested a quote from rang me once and then were bombarding me with phone calls and emails. I even blocked numbers and they'd ring me again from another. So good move, Good Move!Unfortunately I messaged Richard back saying I wouldn't be going ahead with the sale due to the time length it would have taken to sell. No fault of Good Move at all, just the new build I was going ahead with wouldn't allow me to reserve until contracts of my current property had been exchanged, and I didn't want to risk losing the new property and my old. So I'll be staying with my old property for a while longer. Richard was completely understanding and again, didn't pressure me.I wish I could have written a review about the overall exchange but unfortunately didn't make it to that. But thank you for an easy, no pressure quote. Despite another of my quotes offering me £5,000 more, I'd have still stuck with Good Move.

Had the valuation done, I tried to find out what the valuation was having had a valuation done in April 2024 for £210,000 with a bridging loan company. I heard on the radio 12/12/2024 that house prices had gone up one point something each month for the last 5 months. The valuer said he would value the house as a BUY TO LET and also for a straight sale - it took 7 days for Good Move to TELL ME that the house is worth nothing because there was history of subsidence in the past.I say, "what if I get a structural survey to show that the property is stable". They were not interested. They could value the house at maybe £150,000 and I would get £100,000 (80% of 150,000 is £120,000 so whoever I was speaking to couldn't do the 80% maths in his head). He was adamant that a structural survey would not change the valuation. I made several journeys (90 miles round-trip in a 4 x 4 and trailer) to the house to clear the 4 bedrooms of all the furniture. Then they TELL ME my house is worth nothing.I should have known the offer was too good to be true.I will pay for a structural survey and auction the house. I'm sorry I wasted 2 weeks with my hopes high on completion of a quick sale.I got nothing in writing just a phone call and an offer to sell through an auction. I will not use their services, I have already wasted 2 weeks.I will not just give the house away. Beware, they hope that you are absolutely desperate and will sell at less than half price.

I will not go into details but i will say Bradley, Ross, Sophie and the rest of the team have made a very difficult and hard time a lot easier. I cannot thank them enough and please give them a try, if you go into the process of selling a property in an exceptionally sad time what you get from Good move may not be the best price (As opposed to selling on open market) but you get personal service and a lot of support through the process i have never dealt with this kind of sale before but compared to the normal route this was quick simple and stress free.
