GoogleJosh was really helpful and gave us a price for our house but advised that we wait a while to sell our property the conventional way. We have since had a good offer on our property so are not using Good Move but it's good to know the price we could have got if we needed a quick sale. The price offered was lower than market value but that was expected. There was no hard sell, only an honest quick sale price and good advice.

GoogleI would only ever use Good Move when selling my home! Don’t consider any other home buying agent! If you are looking for a quick, cash, hassle free sale as we were, and you are prepared to sell you house for less than a traditional sale, then Good Move is the company to use. We sold out house for around 70% of its market value, a reasonable figure if you do consider selling your house this way. The home buying industry is full of companies that will offer you higher percentages to tempt you in but be warned, these figures are false. Many companies (specifically TV advertised ones) use tactics such as this to trap you, they also get you to sign and complete legally binding documents from day one that tie you in to them, then they pressure you into a conditional exchange of contracts which allows them to survey your house and drop the price right at the last moment. Good Move operate very very differently, a survey was done on my house immediately, a figure was offered which I was free to accept or refuse, there was no pressure. I accepted and Good Move didn’t change that figure once (even during a pandemic). There was no misleading paper work or contracts, there were no valuation changes just a really honest and open working style. Compared to other home buying agents Good Move is a cut above the rest. I owe a special thanks to Richard and Adam who have supported me, been honest with me and bent over backwards to help me from the start of this process. Unfortunately the Home Buying industry is full of great sales men with big promises but Good Move are in a class of their own, there are no sales tactics, no pressure, just honest and open discussions. Every email was answered, every phone call taken or returned and there is literally no hassle from start to finish. Good Move operate on good faith and honesty which is really really rare. I honestly can’t recommend them enough, a really great company with really great people. Highly highly recommend

GoogleI enquired about my property for cash value however the amount quoted was too low for me. I held out for the market and today my property is under offer for the amount I was looking to achieve. As far as customer service goes, the representative, Greg was very candid about the market and the value he could offer. Greg recently made a follow up call to see if all was well with me and if my property had sold yet. I was impressed with his telephone demeanor and the genuineness he showed. He was willing to offer advice and was willing to answer some questions I had too. Overall Greg handled my call with great enthusiasm and expertise and we struck up a great rapport. It is very rare for a company to make follow up calls especially since I enquired with various similar companies but I never got a call back from any except from Greg of Good Move. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for cash value for your property. They were the only ones with the highest offer albeit the offer was still below my needs. Good Move will definitely look after you as a customer and they will ho above and beyond for you too. Thank you very much Greg for your advice and I know that I can call on you for advice in the future too.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to the team at Goodmove for everything they did to secure the sale of my property. From the initial phone call with Max, the marketing and sales negotiation with Courtney, and finally to Sophie who oversaw the sale to completion.It wasn't the easiest of sales to achieve due to lockdown restrictions, and for various reasons took a bit longer than originally anticipated, but throughout the team at Goodmove have all been so helpful and understanding of my needs. They advised and kept me informed though each stage, and have acted with utmost professionalism and because of this I would not hesitate to recommend Goodmove as agent to sell a property.

As a landlord with a difficult tenant i was not looking4wd again to the merry-go-round again of S21/ months of court delays/ backlog of 70000+ bailiff appointments & all costs&hassle. So after speaking with Greg Gray at Goodmove was happy2proceed.He personally with Georgia was always available & oversaw all aspects. We sold in 3 WEEKS. Absolutely delighted with service & minimum stress. All u hav2do is b realistic on your valuation and offset your cost saving:- no selling agent or auction fees/no legal fees/no hassle. Customer service from the start was great. I was kept up to date. Unfortunately my sale fell through, however, I've not been charged at all. There was no quibbling. The process of getting my flat on to the market was very straight forward. Good photographer used. The advert was good. The contractor doing the viewings was very professional and friendly too. Would recommend them. Only reason I didn't continue was due to the sale falling through and then a change of circumstances.

Upon contacting Good Move in view to selling our property we were quickly contacted and our questions answered. The paperwork came as quickly we were told, and we were calmly guided through a the everything. At all times the person we first spoke to was contactable, and that was so nice to have just one person working with us whilst we sold the bungalow. He then called me and we had a good chat about my situation and he gave me really good advice, it wasn't a route I needed to take in the end but he was honest and open and didn't try to push me into anything, he actually really helped me, really nice guy and restored my faith in human honesty. I contacted this company this morning to speak about selling 2 properties from our portfolio. I must have received a call back from their worst advisor based on other reviews. Rude and challenging. Asked about the house, I started to described the Semi detached house with garage in question and was told it was terraced, but end of. No I corrected, it is a semi on a corner plot. No I get told again its a terraced house ! as he was looking at it online. His tone was getting bored and mine irritated as its our house. I told him that at a spritely 72 yrs I have bought and sold enough houses to know how each type is described. So he says, lets just get on with this end of terrace house description that he said he was looking at. Maybe the wrong house, because it is also stated on Rightmove as a Semi I told him his company obviously wasn't the one I should work with and he agreed hanging up on me.From the reviews I checked they must be filtered.However, there are more, well endorsed company's of this type online so no need to have this type of experience.UPDATE. 10/5/2021The manager of the company has contacted me with an apology. There was some sort of mix up on the property being viewed from their end is now my understanding. I have also been given a good will voucher. Their reputation is important to them and it shows in the way they reacted to the review.

Good Move sold my property in 10 days from me picking up the phone and saying I wished to sell. Prior to that they had given me two valuations ; one with and one without a tenant. There was no pressure put upon me to sell, they just allowed me to make my own decision. They recommended their solicitors who were efficient and fast (for solicitors!). They said I could have used my own, but using their solicitors allowed Greg to chase them up, as they were very used to working together. It is an Impressive set up.I would be very happy to use them again.Ian Bland.
