As first time buyers of a flat in Headingley we had a very positive experience with Cornerstone. In particular James Platt provided brilliant service and was clear and communicative throughout the (long and often stressful) process. James provided a really personal, friendly service and was always prompt when responding to emails and calls. We were also kept in the loop with the seller’s progress which helped to give us a realistic idea of the time frame. Would definitely recommend Cornerstone!

I recently sold my house in Kirkstall with Cornerstone. Before using Cornerstone, I had approached a few estate agents to get valuations and I wasn't too happy with the services. I then saw that Cornerstone were selling a house on the same street as me, and that it had sold in a matter of days after lots of viewings, so I approached Cornerstone to request that the same agent be assigned to my house. I then began working with James Platt from Cornerstone, who was immediately proactive, very personable, and extremely professional. It was a pleasure to do with business with Cornerstone, and I would highly recommend them. I work away a lot, and am constantly in different time zones, so having James in the UK to keep the sale on schedule was fantastic and he kept me up to date all the time, and he was able to recommend a great Solicitor to use too. We would highly recommend Cornerstones and in particular James Platt. We are currently living in Australia and thought selling our home in Meanwood would be a nightmare and that we might have to come back to the UK to prepare the house for sale. When we spoke to James we were delighted to find out that he was able to arrange painters, decorators, gardeners and cleaners and that it wouldn't be necessary for us to travel back. Throughout the process James kept us well informed of what was happening with updates after every viewing. He is very professional, friendly and gave us great advice. Cornerstones are a Next Level Estate Agent. We initially marketed our house through a large well-known local estate agent and received polite, perfunctory service which failed to result in a sale. I can’t praise Cornerstone enough. We chose them from the numerous Google reviews and we were not disappointed. The team were not directly employed by us as we were buying the house via their agency. We did, however, have more regular communication from them than our own estate agent! They know how to listen, they communicate well, and were very responsive to any questions or concerns. They were supportive to us during a somewhat tricky house move and we felt really looked after. From the first viewing to completion he has gone above and beyond to make the process as stress free as possible. The communication has been faultless throughout, there has been daily updates in the lead up to completion. I felt they genuinely cared and that nothing was too much trouble - I even got a call at 9pm one night to let me know the purchase had exchanged, as James knew I hadn’t heard anything from my solicitor and knew I was feeling nervous about whether completion would definitely be happening the next day.
