GoogleWe had to cancel our reservation for a plot in the Citu Climate Innovation District. Timings are too long and the site is very late in the development of the houses. We cancelled our reservation in September and after 2 months we haven’t received our refund back. You have to chase them constantly and it takes them ages to come back to you. Every time they come up with a different excuse and we still haven’t received the deposit back in our account. Of course it was very different when we were interested in the house! It’s just ridiculous and unacceptable!

GoogleTruly a woefully managed company. Delays in new builds has sadly become the practice. However the manner at which Citu have managed the delays is truly poor. We were told of our property being delayed by a few months just two weeks before we were due to complete. It's plainly obvious that they are mismanaged due to the sheer staff turnover, in our 15 months dealing with Citu we have had 4 different 'agents' due to the previous agent leaving. I wold not recommend buying a Citu property if possible, if you do expect very little and you will still get let down.

GoogleWe have decided to commit to moving to Leeds and to the Climate Innovation District. We appreciate there is a leap of faith here coming in relatively early in the development but CITU represents the future of house building from a climate and community perspective and we are looking forward to being a part of shaping that future. Our relationship with Danielle in particular has been very positive and she has guided us through our purchase thoughtfully and in a lovely relaxed manner. I am confident that I can reach out to her when I need to get advice or help.

Sarah has proven to be very approachable and informative. She has maintained regular contact with us and shown infinite patience with our questions - often seeking out answers for us when they haven't been immediately to hand. Although we haven't yet bought a Citu property, we anticipate doing so in a couple of years time. Sarah has contributed significantly to that decision.

GoogleReview based on energy rating and electricity bill. I was expecting a higher energy rating for the house. I received the energy certificate 3 months after moving in. The cost of energy is higher than the average house since the development has no gas. The power supplied by the solar panels does not seem to reduce bills, with the December bill coming in at £195 for the month, this was based on estimate readings.

We've lived in our Citu home for just over a year now and we couldn't be happier. The community is fantastic, and it's even better that Citu are part of it too. It's such a lovely place to live, and I'm certain we will be here for a very long time. The sales process was smooth, and aftercare has been top notch for us. No complaints at all!

AVOID - Terrible Customer Care and After Sales Support. It does not exist! After 3 months my snagging list remains long and no true intention to resolve. Did not rectify building errors. Charge for utilities based on random errors caused by meter glitches. No guarantee on building of property.

Hi Jayne. We're sorry to hear you've had that experience. We've investigated the utility charges and we could not see any issues with the meter. Please contact customer support if this is still outstanding. Your property does come with a 10-year building warranty (10 years from the completion date). You should have the information of the warranty provider in your welcome pack. If you're missing this please contact our customer support person.

GoogleTerrible. If you could ban someone from building you would ban these. The lady I know who bought one cried with joy once the nightmare was over.
