It has been easy to work with Bettermove up at this point, they have kept me updated with all the necessary details I’ve needed to help with getting an offer on my property. From getting a property brochure produced and getting an offer for my full asking price with a short lease which my property currently has, Elliott Rostron and his team have been excellent. Would definitely recommend Bettermove to anyone who are after a hassle free quick sale of their property.

Julia and Theo were very supportive throughout the process of selling my property. During Covid it was challenging but within a short time my house was sold at the price I wanted. Can only recommend Bettermove as I was able to do my own viewings which really paid off compared to the conventional estate agent method. I found that my previous estate agents carrying out viewings did not sell my property but just showed people around.

DO NOT USE this company, I was told they would be targeting investors for a quick sale which is the only reason I came to them. In reality that is not the case they just list it on property portals at a much lower price and wait for buyers to call them. The brochure created just used photos from a previous listing and the details in the brochure were terrible, clearly copy and pasted from other brochures with the local roads mentioned actually being from another part of the country. I was mislead and would have been better off staying with my previous agent and lowering the price with them. At least my other agent was local and understood the area. They also manage the buyers more appropriately and lead viewings. As I was in the 14 day cooling off period I asked my property to be removed but this request has not been actioned or acknowledged. I have also tried to raise a complaint to remove my property from Bettermove, I am being told they don't speak over the phone and you can only contact them via email. After waiting for a response for two days I finally received an email telling me they would review and get back to me in 15 days!! Which is obviously ridiculous because my contract with them will actually be over in 15 days which I am sure is there intent.This company bring you in under misleading circumstances. Essentially all they do is list your property on portals and take phone calls from buyers, You are better off going with a regular high street estate agent.

I don't write reviews often but felt as though I need to make others aware about this company.The most unprofessional customer service I've ever experienced! Every person I spoke with was abrupt and spoke to me as if I was beneath them. I expressed interest in viewing a property and received zero communication in return. When I rang to try and get some answers over a week later, after receiving no reply to my emails, they lied about trying to contact me with any update. And didn't seem a bit concerned with the pure lack of service they had provided. If you are trying to sell your property look elsewhere, you won't have much luck with this useless bunch.

Friendly and energetic team to work with. Though there were delays from my solicitor response / chain process, they maintained professionalism and patience to follow up. Dear Israel,We offer sellers 2 choices; they can sell to us for cash and complete within their desired timeframe or we can market the property to our database of buyers as well as advertise on the major property portals (all at our cost of course!). Yes, we are confident in selling homes in 28 days, we wouldn’t have a business otherwise, as we only get paid when we successfully completed on a property sale. If we didn’t sell houses then how would we make money? In your case, we conducted 7 viewings in the 4 weeks we had it, we also had others wanting to view and put forward offers, but you insisted we take it down early. I hope you have managed to get sorted, all the best.

Then when i was passed on to Theo from the sales progression team he was also very helpful answering any questions i had and always keeping on top of the solicitors to see what stage they were at with the sale and when completion could be to help things run smoothly

Right from my very first contact with Elliot and my subsequent dealings with Danny I’d have to say that service levels have been exemplary. The process was explained at the outset and has worked out exactly as described. Having sold our property with Bettermove we are now the final stages of the process where we are being assisted by Megan. She is an absolute star and at a time when a lot of organisations are struggling with customer service she bucks the trend.When selling your property I accept that Bettermove’s business model won’t work for everyone but you can at least be assured that they do deliver on their promises.

A Joeseph Emerson was quite helpful at first but when he suggested an amount for the property, I asked for a contract to view. On the 10th January 2025 I was sent a docusign form that appears to allow Bettermove equitable rights to sell the property over 6 months or whatever.

Sometimes just when you are feeling low and miserable and need a pick me up, you get a phone call that just brightens your whole day.This is what happened to me today. I have had numerous calls ,mainly cold calls. When I picked up my phone I thought it was another and almost didn't answer.I am so glad I did. The gentleman on the end of the phone Rory Naughton was absolutely amazing.He made me feel very comfortable,explained everything to do my recent dealings with his company,and what would happen next. He never rushed to end the conversation and that's a rarity nowadays. Most just want to end the conversation and move on. He didn't rush, in fact we had a few laughs together while still maintaining his position. I found him immensely professional and an absolute credit to his company. Thank you Patricia Ogden

I am quite concerned at what I consider to be underhand tactics to get you on board. 1. It seems that there are no private investors who wants to buy my property. 2. Requests for private documents without having viewings or enquiries were suspicious. 3. Contact from the legal representative promised were not forthcoming. I have now been told that they will not act on my behalf by their ‘senior account manager’. I requested that this is confirmed in writing and I’m still awaiting the email. (Now received, but total nonsense).On the back of BetterMoves response, I would say their request for information was premature as I had not received an enquiry or offer so the confirmation of identity was not required at this state. However, why left the facts get in the way of fabrication. Please read their childish and incorrect response and see who they compare themselves to.I decided to look at other negative reviews of this company. I stopped counting at 100 negative reviews. Yes 100! Maybe, just maybe, I was wise to not give my Passport after reading a particularly concerning review.

To be clear, for anyone reading this, John has refused to provide his ID as per our KYC (know your client) and AML (Anti money laundering) responsibilities. He told us that he has sought legal advice and that we are not entitled to receive his ID. This is categorically wrong. We have since notified him to say we aren’t prepared to deal with him any further as we take our legal responsibilities very seriously.

I recently put my house up to sale with better move Adam was extremely polite and helpful through out, everything was explained step by step and he went at my own pace he didn’t rush me let me think things over until i was happy and agreed. They dealt with all my viewings and everything was done with my satisfactionIt only took 14 weeks for them to sell my property and I was extremely pleased and I will defiantly be using better move again. Very happy customer would highly recommend, prices are also very low so made it even easier All the staff are very friendly :) Thankyou bettermove!

It was a pleasure working with Julia on the purchase of my property. Helped liaise with the vendor so we could come to an agreed sale. She stayed in touch through the process and towards completion when it got a bit tricky, she applied pressure when required to get it through the line.
