I've been dealing with Aspen Woolf over the sale of investment property in Liverpool city centre and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. I've had two main points of contact at the company - Gareth Jones helped me find the property and Ellie Woods has been handling the sale - and it's been a pleasure dealing with both of them. They've been friendly, warm, efficient and nothing ever felt like it was too much trouble. SPAMMERS - Shocking company. Getting junk emails from them. I phoned them up and they deny sending me any emails ! Shocking.UPDATE : Aspen Wolf did take eventually take my complaint seriously after this review and did investigate and resolve (hence upgraded my review to 2 stars). It turns out they use an external marketing company to send unsolicited marketing emails on their behalf. They should never have sent me any emails though, I have never given anyone permission for such emails.

The relevant company that actually sent you the e-mail have advised that they operate in line with current data protection legislation and the e-mail sent is from business to business, and not directly to a consumer. I am extremely disappointed with the advice I received regarding this investment. I was assured that I would be able to secure a mortgage with a 25% deposit, but even after more than a year, I am still struggling and unable to remortgage with a regular lender. The property turned out to be non-residential conversion, situated on a busy road, next to commercial premises, and in an area with very low demand from owner-occupiers.
