GoogleRude and unhelpful. Would barely say hello and tell you how busy they are straight away. They wouldn't walk on the street opposite to value a house I would like to sell. Avoid at all cost. The high street has much better estate agents.

Nathaniel Cleaver I have been working at Newman's for 15 years now and I am very proud to be a part of this award winning company. When I started as the office junior its great to see where I have come from and the skills i have developed along the way to being a senior experienced Associate. I am passionate about everything that I do in life but especially about houses. The biggest reward for me is making sellers and buyers dreams come true when I find them their perfect home, I also thrive under pressure and always go above and beyond my clients expectations and under promise and over deliver. I have been involved in estate agency for a long time and have seen the industry change quite a lot but with Newmans selling strategies, we are always at the forefront in marketing techniques for our industry. I have recently become a father so I know how important it is to find that right family home for you and your family. Out of work I am a lover of football and play and manage a team as well as playing pool and snooker in the local leagues.

GoogleI initially met Nathaniel when he came to value our property. He was really friendly, easy going and was honest about what he thought about our house which we appreciated. We met him again a few months later at viewings for other properties. Again, he was really friendly and was a massive help in helping us decide which one was best suited to our needs. Due to unforseen circumstances our sale/purchase took over 7 months to complete. During this time he always called back when I called, text me back straight away and advised when and where needed. He also put me in touch with Jessica Nobel who deals with sales progression. From the first time I spoke to Jess she had the same friendly manner about her that Nathaniel did. She kept me up to date with all the going ons and when I found things too tough to handle she was more than sympathetic and realistic about what may or may not happen. I can not recommend both Nathaniel and Jess highly enough!

GoogleExtremely poor customer service! Julie is extremely rude and does not have a way of speaking to her customers. While i was a tenant at one of the properties they managed, it took extremely long to get something fixed. They only care about their money and will try to charge you for almost everything they can. I would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone!!

GoogleRented a house with them a couple of years ago and the agent was rude, unresponsive, and refused to answer clearly to our questions (I suppose they weren't sure about the answer but didn't want to admit it). Fortunately, the landlord was much more responsive, though rightfully upset about having to do the agency's job. We thought it was just that particular agent being unprofessional, but we recently booked a viewing with the sales team and the agent that showed us around was equally awful: he just looked at his phone the whole time we were there and made us feel like he was making us a huge favour being there. Glad we didn't end up buying the property and hopefully won't ever have to deal with Newman Properties again.

GoogleAvoid at all costs. Myself and my housemate were renting and received awful, awful service. We were given no support for the many issues we had, including no hot water or heating through Christmas and Winter, and a two meter crack in the kitchen ceiling, which also resulted in that and the bathroom above being unsafe. We raised these issues time and time again with 'Julie', with absolutely no support. Eventually being given a 'No-Fault' Section 21 Notice, just before Christmas.

What I like about Brendan is how active he is in the sale process, he really puts in 100% effort, he goes out of his way to help and it feels like he wants the sale as much as the person selling the property.
