GooglePurchased a property through Martin & Co. It was usually very quick to speak to and get email responses from anyone at Martin & Co. During the purchase we did feel that we were getting chased by Martin & Co too much (often daily by multiple people), which was damaging the house purchase experience. I do believe this chasing was directed from the vendors, however I would usually expect estate agents to manage the vendors expectations with regards to timelines which I do not feel they did effectively. Once this issue was raised with them and we told them our expectations on the frequency of communications we would expect from them (daily to weekly) the experience was much better. Overall if I was selling I would recommend them as they will definitely make sure your sale goes through as quickly as possible. If I was to purchase through them again I would just let them know my expectations of the frequency of communications.PositiveResponsiveness

GoogleToo bad that no zero star rating. No response, no maintenance, always missing appointments, no refund of deposit….. Don’t trust google, go trustpilot to take a look to some real comments, definitely will scare you. Avoid in all cost.

GoogleWe are students renting a flat: good value for money. However, property management has been very disappointing and unprofessional. We’ve had a few conventional issues with the flat I.e. light bulb replacement, jammed door and we have been seeking a professional cleanse of our outside area which, when the flat was given to us, was in an unusable state. As such, communication is very poor and the agents are very unresponsive. We have had to repeat the same issues to multiple agents and never receive a call back. On multiple occasions it is us, the tenants, seeking confirmation on contractors coming in, which have ended up canceling without us being informed. We have had to even go to the agency itself to repeat the same few issues we have been experiencing yet nothing has changed so far. Ultimately, given the fact that we have rented a student flat with another agency previously, I believe that there are better and more student-oriented agencies in Leamington Spa. Indeed, considering that we have 8-9 more months until our tenancy is over, we find ourselves in a position where our hands are tied.

GoogleI have been a landlord for 15 years & wish I had worked with Martin & Co from the beginning! Whether for letting, or buying or selling, you feel they are working hard for you. As the mediators between my tenants and I, they’ve always offered a trustworthy, genuine service to both parties, which I can’t say of previous agencies. Both on the lettings side and in buying and selling I have found their expertise and service to be excellent. They are friendly, communicative, & efficient, and always willing to go above and beyond. I continue to appreciate the high standard of warm, all-round service they offer, and highly recommend them to both landlords and anyone wanting to buy or sell!
