Atrocious service. We were charged for things that we did not cause and a lot of our queries were ignored. We were not provided with any dated proof of any damages and were just simply charged. I’ve been back and forth demanding proof and have not been given any. There were clearly things they wished to replace in the house at the start, as they charged all tenants for the same thing (same price also). We cleaned the house to a higher standard than it was when we moved in and were charged for professional cleaning. It’s unbelievable how this agency likes to take advantage of students as many are naive to this kind of thing and will usually keep their heads down and accept the charges. Will definitely be telling my friends to stay away from this place.

Very professional, all the process (Move in & Move out) was smooth. I had 1 maintenance issue during my tenancy and I had a worker within 2 hours. Chardonnay was my viewing agent, and Marc was my agent for the moving out process, both very kind and efficient. Handles are the worst letting agents I have ever used in nearly 8 years of being a student. If you’re a student in Leamington stay clear. They are useless, rude, condescending and take advantage of students. They take no responsibility for engaging with the tenants and passing on concerns to the landlord and ignore requests for any issues you raise via their portal. Good job I had the landlords contact info. And to top it all off at the end of the tenancy they will take as much money from your deposit as possible without any reason and charge you illegally for a professional clean which is not required anymore by law. Such a shame as the Landlord was excellent.

As a student renting property in Leamington Spa, I couldn’t recommend Handles more when it comes to choosing a letting agency. My housemates and I have been with Handles for a year now, and we have renewed our contract with them for another year. I rented a student property through handles and can say that the process was very easy with them. As the property was managed through handles it was very easy to report maintenance issues and there was always someone following up on repairs etc which was very good. We also had an on going problem with one of our flatmates but can say that handles was very good and understanding with us, there was always someone answering the phones and emails. I have been delighted with the service I have received from Handles letting service over the last 2 years. In particular earlier this year when a large flood due to a frozen pipe needed an insurance claim. Handles, in particular Charlie Baker, took it on with organising meeting with loss adjuster, alternative accommodation for tenants and very prompt repairs to enable tenants to move back in as soon as possible. As I live 2 hours away from the property I rely on Handles to fully manage it and Daniel and Charlie never let me down. I can fully recommend them without reservation.
