GoogleVery bad experience with Connells.I doesn’t like to give them even one star also but there is no option.I will never recommend this company to anyone.Please don’t give holding deposit to them before completing reference.I have already informed them about everything regarding the reference.I told them I am not sure about the reference from the landlord and my partner reference.But according to them everything is alright.Naomi convenced me to pay holding deposit.After paying holiding deposit everything changed.Such a very bad experience with this agency personally I will never and ever recommend this agency for letting.Misleading communication is the worst thing I have experienced from them.

The letting fepartment (Irine) was happy to help answer further questions i had after leaving viewings over the phone or by email.
*edit : superb communication with regards to our application, they got back to me first thing on Monday morning. Everything wrapped up by lunchtime with regards to signing paperwork (electronically) and deposits wtc. Top stuff, no faff!

GoogleConnells have been brilliant from start to finish. Our first exchange with the estate agent during the House open day was super positive. Although it was his last day with the company, he took the time with us and was very friendly.
We also found Isabella our mortgage adviser quick to respond and helpful. Together with Samantha and the whole team, we felt looked after and when some troubles with the valuation happened, they were responsive and empathetic.
We would strongly recommend Connells in Leamington!

GooglePersonally wouldn’t recommend. Had a poor experience with Connells earlier this year when trying to purchase our first home. We ended up being gazumped just 4 hours after our offer was accepted on a house and we felt as if Connells didn’t do enough to try and stop that (I’m aware it’s not illegal but it’s not a great look for vendor or Estate Agent to be honest). After we decided to pull out of the deal, they still had the audacity to call every week for the next 6 months asking if we wanted to use them. No thanks. Had much better experiences since with other local estate agents which have acted in a very fair and more professional manner with regards to offering their services and offers for properties.

GoogleI'd absolutely recommend Connells as an estate agents, but I would not recommend their in-house solicitors that they suggest on commission. (Hence the 4 stars.)
However! Some super lovely and helpful people are Honor, Julie, Lucy and Sera.
When I rang and Julie answered, I immediately felt looked after, she's honestly so great.
Honor supported however she could and helped push communication with a lot of different avenues, she's very dependable!

Dear Ms Ahmed, we are very sorry that the purchase was unable to complete because the mortgage lender declined to lend, therefore resulting in you having to withdraw from the transaction.
The payment you made for your searches was to carry out the property searches on the property, the searches were done and completed while the purchase was proceeding. The refund policy of the searches was explained to you, however, as your situation didn’t meet the qualifying reasons for a refund, and you are not looking to continue your property search, due to the decision from your mortgage lender, you would not be able to utilise the search pledge. Therefore, as previously explained, a refund is not possible.
