I cannot recommend Lucy Hopwood at Connells highly enough! From start to finish, she has been absolutely incredible throughout the purchase of one of their flats. Lucy consistently went above and beyond, chasing solicitors, management companies and getting answers from the seller whenever needed. Her communication was outstanding, she kept me informed every step of the way, always taking the time to explain things clearly and promptly responding to any questions I had. We had a really positive experience working with the team at Connells and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Ours wasn’t the most straightforward sale and, at times, it was quite stressful, but the team worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to keep things moving and make it happen. Julie, in particular, was absolutely brilliant, so helpful, thorough, and just a pleasure to deal with throughout. She really went above and beyond, and I’m honestly not sure the sale would have gone through when it did without her. An absolute gem. Lucy was also fantastic, always informative and clear, and she guided us through each stage of the process with real confidence and care. We always felt well supported and in safe hands. I had an excellent experience with Connells Leamington Spa, thanks to Shaun, who handled my mortgage application. From the very first call, Shaun was extremely helpful. My purchase had already started and the previous mortgage advisor I had contacted stopped answering my calls, which left me in a difficult situation. Shaun immediately stepped in and arranged the first meeting on the same day I called him. Just a couple of days later we had our second meeting, and the mortgage application process was quick and smooth. Once the application was approved, Shaun continued to look after our mortgage offer carefully. As the interest rates dropped twice before exchange, he proactively updated our mortgage offer each time so we could benefit from the lower rates. Thank you very much, Shaun, for all your support and professionalism throughout the process. I highly recommend Connells Leamington Spa and their mortgage services.

I never imagined I’d be writing such a positive review about an estate agents, but here I am! From the very beginning of the purchasing process, there were unavoidable delays, unexpected complications, and frustrating hold-ups with solicitors.
The only part that felt seamless throughout was the communication and support I received from Connells, and in particular, from Julie. Julie was consistently friendly, approachable, and reassuring. She took the time to explain things thoroughly, kept me updated without me having to chase, and showed genuine dedication to seeing the purchase through. Even when the transaction looked like it might stall, she remained calm, professional, and solution focused, which gave me huge confidence during an otherwise stressful experience. What stood out most was Julie’s integrity and reliability. I was certain that I would not use a Mortgage Advisor again having done all the work myself last time, so when Connells offered to call me I went along out of politeness. It turned out to be the best thing I did! Our Advisor Ashley Spencer has been an absolute angel! He knows his stuff and is just such a lovely man. He got us a fantastic mortgage deal and helped us get better insurances. He is so easy to talk to and has been invaluable during our house-buying journey. His communication is excellent, no issues trying to contact him or anything. There are not enough people out there that take their job seriously and realise the importance of what they are doing. Moreover, there are too many people who lack manners and human decency when working with others. Ashley is professional, reliable, kind and great at what he does. In a sad way I will miss him! We called Connells on Friday lunchtime with a request to view two properties for my Mother, they went out of their way to get these viewings booked in. We was shown around both properties that afternoon by Julie. Julie made the whole experience feel relaxed, comfortable and not rushed, Julie answered all our questions and was very helpful, kind & thoughtful and made us feel like we had known her for years. Julie gave a brilliant pitch for the properties we viewed in particular the second property viewing. My Mum felt and ease and was excited about the property and making an offer, which we did. THE WORST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!- Make no effort to sell the property at the agreed price, over value and under deliver! Communication is shocking! No updates given on exchange process, never do the show rounds themselves! Received complaints from people that did offer saying Connells had mis sold the property! Potential buyers sent to property with incorrect floor plans! No correspondence with them through any of the exchange process causing buyer to drop out of the sale! Told me wrong information regarding potential buyers that I had to show around. No experience in sales and made no attempt to learn property features or actively sell it. Rude service and only in it for the money!!! Agent told me they over valued only to win the business!! House ended up selling for 40k less than original valuation! My complaint has been sent to the Ombudsman. I suggest you AVOID AVOID AVOID, unless you want endless stress and hassle!! REALLY ARE THE WORST AGENT ON THE MARKET! **in response Lucy, you even admitted fault as you did not communicate effectively at all during the 1st buyer we had and me and my solicitor only found out buyer had dropped out after I had called to chase your branch!!! The other buyer we had that also dropped out even wrote in his letter of complaint to you regarding the fact he thought you were dishonest and didn't tell him of the longer wait or how difficult it would be to.sell his house that far in advance! Your communication was way below the standard is should be and I regularly complained throughout so not sure how you can say we didn't! We were on a strict timescale which meant we had no choice but to retain your services even after you dropped the price nearky 40k regardless of whether or not you spoke to me first. You were not bothered at all in our property which is why I got landed with so many show rounds because you couldn't be bothered to sell it!!!! I am so frustrated with you as an agent, you over valued and under delivered and I am not the 1st and won't be the last to complain of your awful tactics! Stay away from Connells. Worst estate agent on the high street.

I used Connells to buy my first house. Shaun has been absolutely amazing, very professional, supportive and knowledgeable. My search journey took about a year and throughout this Shaun had the patience to run the calculations and explain everything every time i found a property, always flexible and attentive. I had been directed by developers also to their mortgage broker which was free of charge as well as to other brokers by friends, but there is no level of comparison. I would strongly advise you to go with Shaun as he is someone you can count on, at times when you deal with one of the most stressful process in your life. The care for his customers is unrivalled, he even took the time to call me and congratulate me for completion at a time when he was out of office dealing with a unique event of his life.
