Me and my partner went to look at the vale meadows properties in August/September this year, after thinking about potentially buying our first home together. We were greeted by Suzanne Evans who was so friendly and welcoming to the site. She was extremely professional and explained everything about the site and all of their available properties. She let us look around the show home in our own time which gave us a great idea of the style and layout of the houses they had on offer. She showed us a property that was not yet released to the website but one she thought we would be interested in after explaining what we were looking for. We instantly fell in love with the house, the views and everything about the site. We were so eager to reserve instantly but we had to wait until it was released. As soon as it was released, Suzanne let us know instantly so we could reserve our dream home. We couldn’t be happier with the process so far, Suzanne has made it so smooth for us and is constantly in contact with us to let us know everything we need! We are currently aiming to move in the end of March 2026 and cannot wait!

This is a long one but I cannot speak highly enough of Farrell Heyworth!! I was a bit dubious as I wasn’t keen on the way they wrote the majority of their listings and the additional charge for the social media package but Paul, the valuer, explained the whole package and won me over. I gave him a hard time but he rose to the challenge admirably. We had four valuations, only two agencies, including FH, brought a package of information on how they came to the valuation. Paul provided a presentation and demonstrated great knowledge of the local market. He explained the social media package which isn’t just a facebook post and seemed well worth the extra charge. It’s a sophisticated system - you get a regular report detailing the number of targeted posts to real people who have searched for similar properties, detailing how many opened your brochure etc. we only got one report as we sold so quick. Paul’s valuation was the highest of the four we had but it turned out to be spot on! (That wasn’t why we chose FH) He arranged the photographer whilst he was with us who came a couple of days later. The process of approving the brochure was quick and easy and the final document met my exacting standards (I’m not easy to please!) Jason the photographer did a great job. The house hit the market the day after the photos were taken, less than a week after Paul’s valuation visit, and we got immediate interest. We had a few viewings within days and four more booked, and the house wasn’t even 100% live on all channels. The house sold within 9 DAYS AND ABOVE THE ASKING PRICE. The team in the office are just as fabulous as Paul. Erica was our dedicated contact. All the team are well informed and if Erica wasn’t available they were all up to date with what’s going on and able to deal with questions quickly and effectively. FH were also dealing with the property we purchased - it was easy to put in our offer, have questions answered promptly. The viewings we had at FH Properties were all handled well with knowledgeable staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Once you’ve sold, you get another dedicated person to liaise with during your sale/purchase. Sadly that person was poorly but the rest of the team have stepped up to ensure all the questions we’ve had have been handled quickly and efficiently and again, nothing has been too much trouble. The communication right through the process has been excellent. If you’ve got this far well done! As you can probably tell, they’ve done a fabulous job for us. Now, I wonder if this gets me a discount on their bill (joke). Paula & Dan

From viewing the flat with lovely Beth, to emails with the super efficient Nel and Damien, this process was as slick as we would want. All of these staff members have been so lovely and helpful, even though I imagine their job must be super busy! At our viewing, Beth was really chatty and tried her best to answer all of our questions. Damien is so fast at replying to emails and really tries to help in every way possible. We have sold 3 houses with Farrell Heyworth in Lancaster on the past 8 years. They are so helpful, chase up viewers and help to push the sales through with such a lovely attitude. Right from the valuation, through photographs, finding the right person to buy fast and getting a good price. So easy to talk to, either personally or via e mail; nothing is too much trouble. This last sale was my late father's house and I felt stressed dealing with everything. Alisha was fantastic; empathetic and willing to help in any way she could. I felt she was a friend.
