Communication is absolutely spot on!

We’ve had such a smooth start to the process of getting our house on the market. Within a week of calling Jones Robinson we have had a valuation, all the terms discussed and pictures taken of our property with confirmation from the admin team throughout the week. Communication has been spot and that’s down to everyone in the admin team that we’ve dealt with so far. Making a pretty stressful time run like clockwork so far.

Would like to highly recommend the team ( Jo, Toyah, Kay and Carrie) at the Jones Robinson branch in lambourn for all their support in buying our dream home in Lambourn. From viewing houses to exchange, the team kept communications lines opens and frequent as they checked up on us and updated us on a weekly basis throughout the process. That gave us comfort weekly and eased off any worries we had. Any questions we had they would answer promptly.The team also recommended solicitors for us to use and we believe this strategy helped us to have a smooth transition. The process was quicker than we expected and we believe it’s because of the efficiency of the team and the lawyers everything worked out well. We will be home for Christmas. Thank you

I can not recommend Jones Robinson Lambourn highly enough. Jo, Toyah, Kay and Carrie are all so friendly yet very professional and their combined knowledge of the property market especially in the local area is second to none. They truly went out of their way to help in anyway they could with our recent property purchase. We had been looking for a property for a while and because we were set on just one small area it was a challenge finding what we needed but the team got in touch to arrange a viewing as soon as they had a property matching our criteria and I’m so glad to say it fitted the bill. The weekly updates keeping us in the loop to make sure we knew exactly what was happening was invaluable. Their proactive approach meant that the sale flew through in no time. It has been a total pleasure dealing with all the team and will be definitely recommending them to anyone looking for an estate agent.

Do not use this company for lettings management

We let out a property using Jones Robinson as the managing agent, on a fully managed basis. Over the last year of this rental we had no idea of the true state of the property due to inaccurate and misleading visit reports and a lack of proper communication from the JR contact. At the end of the tenancy we discovered significant damage and deterioration to the property, which cost several thousands of pounds to put right. JR denied all responsibility for this state of affairs. The whole experience was very stressful for several months. We would definitely not recommend letting out a property via this estate agent.

Pleasant experience so far

I had a flat viewing in Newbury with Jude on Monday and ended up running late due to taking a wrong turn on the motorway, but Jude patiently waited for us and was very understanding. And despite us being late, she didn’t rush us throughout the viewing and happily answered our queries. She has a very professional and friendly approach. Attended a viewing in Lambourn with Carrie. Also completed on a first time purchase (see edit). We already had a clear idea of what the property would be like thanks to the video tour provided on the listing. Carrie did a great job of showing us around, highlighting details and responding to a copious number of questions, including providing some insight into how other similar properties in the area have been developed. Edit: I have now completed on a different property, also through Jones Robinson. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of the ladies at Jones Robinson Lambourn for going the extra mile to make sure I was provided with every bit of information I could have required during my (quite daunting) first purchase. They made the effort to remain in constant contact after every new development, and kept me feeling in the loop about the events in our long 6-property chain. Every exchange I've had has been enthusiastic and genuine, and even after the buy was complete they made me feel immediately part of the community with a parting gift and a copy of the village news! I cannot recommend Jones Robinson Lambourn enough.

From start to finish the agents at their Lambourn office were efficient, friendly and very informative. My house was actually sold before they had even put it on the market, due to a customer being told in passing by them that it was about to come on the market. That particular sale fell through, with no fault of Jones Robinson, but the buyer was refused a mortgage at the last minute. They immediately got my house on the market, and after approximately 10 viewings, it was again sold at full asking price, within weeks. I have now moved into my new home, and hope the buyers of mine have a lovely life in their new home as well. House sale in question was complex and would not have completed successfully without the help, support and guidance provided through all stages of the process.
