Very annoying is putting it politely. Winkworth put a To Let sign outside my property. This was crudely attached to my front wall with masonry nails, damaging the pointing. I have never approached Winkworth and am not letting my property. I had to make three telephone call, each time being promised that the sign would be removed. I was then called back by someone from Winkworth who did not know why they were calling, me, only that they had been asked to call me. I was then put on hod for so long that I gave up. Three weeks later, the sign has not been removed.

We take all reviews very seriously and are sorry your experience has compelled you to lead a less than perfect review. However, we are genuinely puzzled here as your agent and you personally contacted us to arrange pre-completion access to store items and cut the lawn…. Both requests have been granted with good grace by the vendor, who certainly did not have to , and by ourselves without a trace of difficulty or rudeness.

GoogleWe just sold our Kennington flat was Winkworth so I thought I'd share some reflections on the process. Firstly I was really sure about using Winkworth right from my initial meeting with Tom Floyd the Sales Manager - compared to other agents he was straight talking and considered in his valuation of the property. From there the process was very smooth - the photos of the property were excellent and showed it off well, and I was kept up to date (after a couple of early glitches) on viewings which were clearly well conducted by Oliver. Once an offer was made the advice and support from Arne was exceptional - he listened, gave great advice and he dealt with any issue clearly and without fuss. Overall a hugely positive experience and (having used other local agents without success previously) I'd highly recommend Winkworth.

Throughout the sales process which, never goes smoothly, Tom was talking to me every day via whatsapp to make sure it all went smoothly and we kept everyone happy through a scary period of interest rate rises. I have had a horrible experience with Maddie Barrington as a tenant.We were presented with a dirty property full of black mold and left to rot with a newborn for two and a half years before eventually having to move out.We faced a sizeable rent increase as well but absolutely no action towards our very serious issue.We have lost thousands of pounds worth of clothes and have had to spend tens of hours emptying our wardrobes in order to wash our clothes again and again.On top of everything we had to pay enormous electricity bills as a result of running several dehumidifiers.Maddie has not been helpful or accommodating.I would recommend to make sure you do not deal with her If you do have to work with wink worth.Edit: In regards to your response, I have put the name of the person there so you should be able to know what office this is. The property is in N1.

We take damp issues very seriously when reported and will always work with our clients and advise them accordingly to rectify such concerns.
