Had an appointment with the Charlton office, they were late. I called, was told they were parking. Waited more. Nothing until the manager called 40 minutes after the appointment basically stating that they had no phone to call when they did not see the concierge so left. This is very unprofessional and I do not recommend you waste your time if this is their first impression.

Much better than managing it myself

Using Marsh and Parsons property management service was an enormous improvement from trying to manage the tenancy as a landlord. Elisabeth was fantastic as a managing agent. All issues were resolved swiftly with the absolute minimum amount of admin and engagement required from me. This was a huge improvement from the laborious approach to liaising with tenants and contractors myself to try to triangulate and resolve issues and attendance. Highly recommend.

Quick & easy change of occupancy

We rent a property through Marsh and Parsons and opted for a change of occupancy so we could exit our contract early. The entire team has been really helpful and Jasmin in particular has been a big help to us. Jasmin has been very professional and efficient with her communication throughout the process. We had a slight issue with Rightmove regarding tenant referencing (no fault of Marsh and Parsons) and she resolved the issue promptly. She's also been very patient in answering my countless questions!

Their payments collection have been 2 month delayed in some instants , purley becasue ethey did not botrher to contact the tenants. And you get teh most unhelpful , unresposive admin to deal with. Missed up my mortagae payments and casue alot of overdraft fees will never use again

Abdullah was incredibly helpful during emergency

2 weeks ago the toilet in our flat experienced a severe clog and required multiple visits from plumbing engineers. Abdullah Leghari (our property manager) was extremely responsive during the day of the incident and was able to help us arrange for a plumber to come that very same day! The plumber was unable to resolve the issue, and we were left without a working toilet for over a week. Thankfully Abdullah was consistently on top of this issue, pushing and chasing the plumbing company. Thanks to his efforts they were finally able to send someone over and the issue has been completely resolved!! He truly went above and beyond to help us resolve this!

Categorically Never Use M&P For Lettings Management

My wife and I have been using the Stockwell branch of Marsh and Parsons as our lettings manager since October. Considering their large management fee, they have been outright horrendous. The flat below reported a leak at the start of November. Since then we have had 4 visits to our property by various contractors who have all failed to diagnose a leaky shower. The leak is still undiagnosed and the bill still accrues. We are at over 3 months to repair a leak. 3 months! In another incident we had a fire suppression system burst in December, a totally anomalous event causing a small amount of flooding. On the one day we needed their active and immediate assistance they were awful. Contact was intermittent, clear instructions not followed, and their lack of care and concern was incredible. Had we not intervened almost nothing would have been achieved and our tenants would have been left in the lurch.The whole point of managed service is so you can forget about your property and let it be run by professionals. That is what the not insignificant cost is taking care of. However Marsh and Parsons have caused more issues than they have solved and we would have saved more time, money and importantly stress, doing it all ourselves. We have had to direct or hold their hand at every turn, pushing for updates, chasing results. Crucially do not expect anyone from their management team or with any seniority to step in or make a difference. They wont.The moment we can, we will be extricating ourselves from this service. A shame as we had planned to sell our house with them but this experience has been beyond poor.

Communicating with this agent has been an extremely unpleasant experience. The agents I've spoken with are rude, and everything they say is inappropriate, childish, and shows complete ignorance. They tell us we're not suitable for a house we applied for, for which they're asking even less price than we currently pay on another property. Nothing seems to be enough for these ignorant agents. They don't value good tenants, and therefore what they deserve is to be pursued by fraudster tenants who will tell them a bunch of lies and then stop paying the landlord or destroy the property... that's what they're looking for by neglecting the truly good tenants who have fulfilled their responsibilities their entire lives.

Professional but still with error

Overall Marsh & Parsons are very professional and work according the all UK regulated standards in a diligent way. They are a trustful organization in this manner. However, my scheduled move-in date was pushed back by almost two weeks due to a last minute error in not realizing all the paperwork was in order. There was ample time (2 months) to have caught this earlier and pushing the move-in date back was very frustrating and resulted in a high personal and financial cost as flights, and accommodation were arranged with the initial move-in date in mind.
