When I started my search to find a new flat, I was hesitant about using an estate agent but having worked with Maliha, I can safely say my faith has been restored. From start to finish, she has been efficient, professional, friendly and has been fantastic to work with. As well as being personal able, he was very calm and professional and very knowledgeable about the Housing Market. Having already had past experience I often would feel quite stressed and overwhelmed by the process of selling my home. Darren manager kennington branch, more concerned with a quick sale. Never felt he had the interest of the seller at the heart of his interactions, very selfish perceptive on home owner outcomes in the sales process, very likely he wanted to meet targets instead and it came across in our conversations. Glad we parted ways with a deal that fell through, no surprise much rather another estate gets our commission.

I've renewed my mortgage before with this branch of Barnard Marcus and was fully satisfied with the service I got, so when it came time to renew again I got back in touch. On this occasion, I worked with Jorden Lyons who I have found to be extremely knowledgeable, polite, friendly and responsive. It was a bit more complicated for this renewal, given I was switching from a residential mortgage to allow me to rent the property. Being my first time at renting my flat out, Jorden took the time to explain everything to me which I really appreciated, he was patient even when I had silly questions! Most importantly, Jorden was able to offer solutions I never would have known were open to me and went out of his way, even over the weekend, to help me get to a great solution. I would highly recommend Jorden for mortgage advice and will absolutely be working with this branch again in the future. Thanks again for everything, Jorden!

Simon was thorough, reliable, and trustworthy from first meeting till sale completion. When he said he would call you, he did, unlike many agents I have dealt with during this frustrating period. Be aware when paying a holding deposit! Barnard Marcus have helped me in acquiring a property to rent, we found an excellent place that we put in an offer for, at this point they required a holding deposit to be paid on the 12th of March. The landlord seemed happy to proceed initially but a few days after putting the offer in, the landlord has decided to instead sell the property. We received confirmation of this on the 16th March and confirmation that holding deposit will be paid within 7 working days, although a member of staff indicated it would usually be within a few days. Considering we are back on the market and may require these funds in order to secure another place, these funds should be paid back as a matter of urgency. Its now the 27th March and i still havent received the funds back! Following on from this i have now put in offers on other properties that havent required a holding deposit to be paid before the offer has been accepted. I have emailed and had no response, i have also called and advised the payment has been approved and they would look into this, im yet to have a response. I will be hesitate from using Barnard Marcus in the futureNegativeResponsiveness

Quite unprofessional agents, though mostly private middle class investors acting as landlords, which makes direct communication with them easy. The Agency is v lenient with its confidentiality obligations, bear this is mind. On average, email replies once offer is made take 14 days. In our case, the agent lied to the landlord, that we are ok with the furniture to stay, and the tenant (me), that the landlord agrees to remove the furniture. Wow
