Facebook Marketplace

Facebook Marketplace. I was looking for a home to rent longer term. There is a way to move around the map to view other places but the results are limited. I finally entered the new city manually. This was good except the map disappeared. What specifically is the point of looking for a place to live with no idea 'about' where the property is located. Presumably there is a way to bring the map view up but in typical FB fashion it is not intuitively obvious or easy to find. It would also be extremely helpful if a sort for vacation/short term or residential type/long term rentals were available. I would also remove the dumba#^es that put $1 ads on the site which waste the time of both the buyer and themselves and the FB Tech people that have to read the complaints

Extremely Disappointing Customer Support Experience with Facebook/Meta

I have been a loyal Facebook user for over 15 years, utilizing the platform for personal and professional purposes, including managing several pages and groups with thousands of followers. However, my recent experience with Facebook's customer support has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. For the past day, I have been attempting to resolve an issue with my account, but have been unsuccessful in getting any assistance from Facebook/Meta support. Their Live Chat Support consistently displays long wait times, with messages suggesting to try again in an hour. When I finally managed to connect, the estimated two-minute wait turned into an endless loop of waiting with no response from the support staff. The most absurd aspect of this ordeal is the email notification I received stating, "For your protection, no one can see you on Facebook until you secure your account. We've also reversed some changes that were made to your two-factor authentication settings." This notification informed me that my two-factor authentication settings had been reverted to a mobile phone number that I disconnected from Facebook two years ago, rendering me unable to access my account.Despite providing my passport and alternative identification, Facebook/Meta support has been unable to verify my identity, claiming issues with my ID without specifying any details. As an IT professional with a strong understanding of security measures, I find it baffling that a platform of Facebook's magnitude fails to provide adequate customer support and account security. In addition to the ineffectiveness of their support channels, Facebook's overall decline in quality since the transition to Meta is evident. It's concerning that even apps like Meta Business Suite, supposedly designed for communication with customers, fail to provide access to Facebook Messenger and other essential features. As a user who values privacy and security, I understand the importance of identity verification measures. However, when legitimate identification documents are rejected without justification, one can't help but question Facebook/Meta's commitment to user satisfaction and security. In conclusion, my experience with Facebook/Meta's customer support has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. As a long-time user and advocate for the platform, I sincerely hope that they take steps to improve their support infrastructure and prioritize the needs of their users.

Facebook is so called social media where is most of politics parties and religious groups holding, however I reported lots of irrelevant posts which is annoying hateful and against their community guides but they haven’t removed even single one with reason they gave it’s/that’s not against their community rules but when I replied to the same posts which I reported then Facebook restricts my account for 1 or more hours. Means Facebook supports political parties all over the world to keep posting whatever they want.💩💩💩💩✋🏿✋🏿✋🏿✋🏿✋🏿✋🏿

Facebook is the most corrupt business…

Facebook is the most corrupt business that I have ever seen. Please becurful I hacked from an email that came from Facebook server (Facebookmail.com) and the hackers remove my 2 factor authentication. There is no way that someone can do this unless is working in Facebook or Facebook got hacked. When they see this situation they easily ignore you. The customer service dosent do anything although I have verified badge. I am looking for doing the legal action about them. I only spend 98k on my one ad for my business and they don't care.

What is wrong with Facebook marketplace?

I moved into a new apt a few months ago and had to rent a storage unit because the new place is a bit smaller. Anyway I decided to sell everything in storage instead of paying more than the stuff is worth in storage fees. I recently tried to sell my spare rollator walker and got a message basically saying I was listing something against their guidelines. I logged into marketplace and searched for the same item and found hundreds of the exact same thing for sale. I found an exact listing for the same walker I was trying to sell and copied the ad word for word and took similar pictures. I got an immediate warning that I was about to be banned from marketplace for listing an item that they do not allow. Why is it ok for some sellers to advertise something and others not? To me it seems discriminatory. There is no one to contact or talk to at Facebook. It seems they have made themselves an untouchable God of the Internet with absolutely no accountability for anything. They can discriminate at will and dictate what is right or wrong. I think the world would be a better place without facebooks dictatorship and Nazi attitude.

We had a good experience as a buyer with Irlams. Communication was great and Dan Hutchings was very proactive in following up throughout to keep the process moving forward smoothly. We will definitely remember if we decide to sell in the future!

All i see on my feed is gambling sites

All i see on my feed is gambling sites. Considering i had quit ages back and consistently keep pressing hide ad on them all they always come back... Facebook is clearly trying too push people with gambling addictions too gamble more advertising free spins that you WONT get 🙄 Also they have only fans groups posting next to nude pictures and like someone else stated you can sign up from 13.. you need to be 18 too view porn so why allow this group on facebook for ANYONE too view and again when reported they do not care! Terrible heartless company that has no morales and only care about how many zeros are on there bank balance!

Facebook is Soros backed nonsense

Facebook is run very poorly. There is no oversight to remove fake accounts. There are fake accounts that are present just to spark arguments on posts. The algorithms lead your feed to be filled with people fighting about politics. This is especially true during election years as I observed the same thing throughout 2020. It’s obvious that Zuckerberg is backed by Soros at this point. I had someone pretending to be Jack Nicholson tagging me nonstop trying to spark a political argument. The account was clearly a planted fake and though I politely asked them to stop tagging me they continued. This is considered harassment and I reported it to Facebook. Facebook did not address the harassment and did not remove the fake account. In fact, they do nothing to ensure that you feel safe on social media. This site should be taken down permanently.

No support given

So my wife's Facebook was hacked and although we locked the account and sent proof of ID (Driving licence) to prrove its my wife's account, they stated the ID could not proof identity. What a joke. I wouldn't mind but when things like this happen you dont get an option to say this was not me. Just get a message to say log in from this area. Sort the safety out of your users.

Facebook is an absolute disgrace of a…

Facebook is an absolute disgrace of a so called responsible platform. Not only do they actively allow the most deplorable bullying, abuse and harassment but they also actively and strategically interfere with certain causes, such as animal rescue causes, and place no explanation bans of people to do nothing but hinder the processes. I see the most disgusting incidents of online bullying on a daily basis, several times a day and nothing is ever done about it, not even on review. The procedures are not up to scratch at all and they also heavily take part in other forms of censoring, such as straight forward freedom of speech and realistic views. You're an absolute shower of s***e the lot of you! Hang your heads in shame you utter parasites! You're a warped sewer!

Facebook & Instagram have to work on setting up a “Help Center” where customers can speak with someone and have their issues resolved immediately

It is next to impossible to get any assistance from Facebook or Instagram. For a business owner, a human assistance is essential in resolving a problem. My business Facebook was hacked into and closed down for reasons that are incorrect! Someone created a flakier business account with my company logo and now they are doing the same thing on my company’s Instagram. I have paid for ads that are running on my business accounts, which is now, a waste of money since no one is able to access my company’s social media pages. I get messages from Metabusiness asking me to click a “Submit” button and it ones not even work!!!!! I am losing money and potential clients in this extremely frustrating process. Whoever is this person, they are linking accounts that have nothing to do with me or my business!!!!

I have totally had it with facebook…

I have totally had it with facebook this time.Today is my birthday and it tells me 7 people posted greetings but is showing me only 4 of them.I am sick of Facebook filtering content I want to see. All the times I post a relevant comment and then don't see it because they are showing "relevant" or "Top" comments and have filtered my own out, or have to go out of the way to show other comments. The large numbers of friends post their status and it doesn't show in my feed, and the same happened with my post a long time ago.Yet they show me the same endless ads and even when I click and say I don't want to see that, they continue to show me more and more of the it.In the past they were very controlling about who you could and could not add as friends. They have been known to trace me around in real life too and ask if I recently visited a place.Someone, please, create a new Social Media site that actually shows its uses what we want and we'll all join it. I can't believe Facebook has survived 16 years because nobody has come up with something better. And I don't mean Twitter / X.All those things are bad, but really, hiding content I have subscribed to, including birthday greetings posted on my wall by my friends? That would be like the postman stealing some of my birthday cards and not delivering them. Or like gmail not bothering to show me all the e-mails people have written to me, not because they're spam, but simply because they feel like not showing them.

This website is filled with SCAMMERS

This website is filled with SCAMMERSI thought Ebay was bad for its scammers and fake accounts, but wow Facebook is taking the lead for thee worst website in the world. ZERO security over fake accounts but they'll insta-ban you for typing a specific word into a comment section or status. Fake businesses, fake sales, more Bots than actual people using the servers and so on. If you're looking to get in contact with family members, don't use this website to do it. It's Trash. Zero customer service, zero professionalism, zero care about how they take your data, sell it and act innocent. Do what I did and delete your account, use WhatsApp, Twatter[Twitter] or some other media, just not this laggy, scam filled nonsense.

My brother, Karl Douglas, has recently sold his property and has asked me to post the following review on his behalf: “Irlam‘s advertising resorted in 17 viewings in five days necessitating them working into the early evenings. They negotiated an acceptable offer and a projected completion date within three months, liaising with solicitors and other agents. They coordinated a chain of three purchases, involving a number of challenging issues, completely on target. We would not hesitate to recommend Irlams and our particular thanks go to Dan H for his fantastic service“.

Give them five stars for being useless

Give them five stars for being absolutely useless. My Facebook business page was hacked and £800 was took out over a 4 hour window I cancelled my bank. I tried to contact Facebook a number of times with no response. Tried to reset passwords with no avail. My Facebook account is blocked because of Instagram account that is linked to my Facebook account which does not belong to me.So every time I try to login to Facebook it directed me to log into Instagram to solve to problem but the Instagram account belongs to the person that hacked my Facebook. I have emailed Facebook a number of times but no response. Can't set up a new account because it has all my old details A big thanks to Facebook for there customer support. Don't know how there a global company. I wouldn't advise any on to advertise their business on Facebook because when it goes wrong it absolutely goes wrong. It nearly finished my business. Sill can't get my head around it. Not one response and no straight forward way to contact them only useless advice. Going on six months now and no further on. I've give up. My Facebook account doesn't even exist now

A truly terrible place.

Logging in to Facebook is like opening your spam email folder looking for messages from your friends. It's completely filled with junk and scams, and Meta keeps it that way because it makes them money. It used to be that every three things you get when you scroll were ads, now they're back to back and you can go through five to ten ads before you find a friend's post. Facebook also doesn't quality assure any of their ads, many of which feature uncensored pornography or link to outright scams. Scammers also run rampant and Facebook does nothing when they're reported, despite clearly operating a scam. Everything from racist conspiracy theorists to people pretending to be your dead relatives, and Facebook thinks that's OK. Oh, they also allow child and animal abuse videos to go completely unchecked, even when reported.

Do not get on there

Yes I am getting about of these scammers and hackers on there app it's not like it use to be in 2008 when I first started using it the insulting and rudeness and cursing each other out always causing drama and fighting they need to have that shut completely down people on there stealing people's monies and information to hack there stuff I am ready to get this network in a bunch of trouble I don't need to be depressed and stressed out anymore on there it's enough I am getting old and if people are getting reported you don't sit and allow them to do that to others it's abuse mentally I am sick of it. Whoever is behind the end of the reporting you need to get yourself fired from there and new people hired that will clean that network up it's trashy and dirty too sex offenders and child molesters have been in there to and in the terms of use there not suppose to be on there you sure will stop the freedom of speech but won't do a thing about that you need to get screamed at see how you like that I been putting up with the emotional abuse on there for 14 years that's enough I will file a class action lawsuit and sue you I am disabled to and also work too the attacks of harassment is enough I am tired of it.

Apparently Facebook is a fan of animal…

Apparently Facebook is a fan of animal abusers. They do not remove horrific traumatic animal abuse pictures of dogs and cats tortured. They say it doesn't go against their policy. You can clearly see it is not rescue. A snake wrapped around a dog. A dog impaled, a dead cat surrounded by its kittens, a kitten dyed pink tied by a railroad track. A dog starved almost to death, a dog put in a kennel in a river. This isn't animal abuse. Good job Facebook for allowing animal abusers to scam people for money. You make it possible every day by allowing it. And on top of it. They make it so you can't even talk to a person about this

Extreme Dangerous - Facebook needs to be shut down

In short, stay far away from Facebook and close your account now for your own safety. Now, the longer version... On January 7, 2023, I was hacked (yep their double security failed me), and fortunately, I had disconnected my PayPal from my account; otherwise, I would have suffered significant financial damage. The pages running through the new Facebook page experience were deleted from my business assets by the hacker, so all the pages I had worked on for years are now ghost ships. I tried all possible avenues to regain control of my pages, but Facebook simply refuses to help. So, this is how you provide support to someone who has advertised on your platform? Speaking of advertisements, Facebook is a breeding ground for hackers and other illegal activities. Two days ago, I encountered an ad on Facebook that looked completely legitimate. It turned out to be a spoof website that spreads its malware through Facebook ads, victimizing people (where the hacker gains access to your passwords and credit card details). And when you report this, you receive a notification from Facebook stating that they see no reason to ban this hacker. I also manage groups, which are targeted daily by spam and adult posts from bots. But the group admin (I) receives violation warnings from Facebook because I use Facebook's assistant tool. So, in reality, you already know the answer. Just look at all the reviews here on Trustpilot. Facebook, aka Meta, and Instagram, simply stay far away! Facebook should be shut down because they are unsafe and does not meet the law.-- update 3/13/2024I had to continue for my business so i signed up for a new account not long after i had been hacked. Today 3/13/2024 my Facebook account got suspended because of a linked Instagram account that has nothing to do with me! "Your account was suspended because your linked Instagram account j41z7x3d6f2ngwwr doesn't follow our rules. Log into your linked Instagram account to appeal our decision. You may have the right to challenge our decision in your country's courts, or refer our decision to a certified dispute settlement body."So, conclusion, this proofs again how extremely unsafe Facebook actually is. I am not affiliated with j41z7x3d6f2ngwwr at all.Facebook, if you read this, here is my casenumber: 1084049102800136

Really happy with the service we received from Irlam’s estate agents. It was a relatively complex sale due to the fact that my partner and myself were selling our individual houses and buying a larger joint house in Knutsford. Irlam’s we’re responsible for the sale of my partners house and the purchase of our joint house. Both Tim and Declan were both on point keeping us fully informed about all developments. It was always going to be difficult with the timings of selling two houses at the same time but Tim used his amazing organisation and people skills keeping all parties happy through some complex legalities that emerged. We managed to complete all transactions smoothly with no bridging loans or storage costs in sight:-) We have absolutely no hesitation in fully recommending Irlam’s.

The experience that led to the writing of the book

Two weeks before Chain Chayintonga Mkhawana was struck by stroke in February 2022, he received a revelation as to how the Salvation of the world was written: The Lord God wrote a pencil drawing of the Crucifixion; gave it to Satan and asked him."Satan, why don't you finish off this Jesus Christ who fails you?" As always Satan's face lit with impish glee because he always celebrates when others are in trouble, and then he crucified the Lord. The Lord God erased the pencil drawing, and the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead. The revelation happens to be the opening chapter of the book. Chain knew, when the stroke struck him, that it was a pencil drawing that the Lord God would erase.
