We are currently renting for the first time with Brigfords as our letting agency. Zaneta was our negotiator and she provided outstanding service to us, she was very approachable and personable, certainly a breath of fresh air following other less pleasant experiences with other agencies and negotiators. Also Nathan our property manager is swift in handling any maintenance issues that we report, this is an area where other agencies quickly let themselves down, but not this Brigfords crew in Knutsford.

Well what I can say! SHOCKING SERVICE.

Well what I can say!! After 7 years we have had enough and made the decision to move after countless problems. I am now having to move away from the area I grew up in and also I have to let my pet dog go after all the problems and YES BRIDGFORDS YOU ARE TO BLAME!!!! When we moved into the property it was just about habitable, it should not of been presented in the way it was but we were desperate. Over the years we improved the property ourselves and made it a nice home and we genuinely felt at home. Problems included heating pump problems, shower problems, we were left without a gas hob for 6 weeks, had to live practically off ready meals. Roof leaks, boiler problems which take weeks or even months to resolve. The penultimate decision to move was made when we were left without heating over the Christmas period, the house ended up like an ice box to the extreme causing massive distress to us and our young children, but they just don't care, waiting days and days for quotes to be accepted. Money comes before Health and Safety with these guys and to top it off we are being harassed to arrange viewings for new tenants, absolute joke. Unlucky for them is that I know property law, probably better than them and I have the right to refuse access to them until tenancy agreement ends. No one from the agency has ever been out to inspect the property in 7 years but they are willing to show people around, for they all know the property could be trashed. Absolutely unprofessional, some staff should be nowhere near the business of real estate. I think they think that payment of rent is just for the property, its not you pay rent for a service to which you do not get! DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM BRIDGFORDS. Its just a shame it has come to this but they are to BLAME FOR IT ALL!! SIMPLE. GOOD LUCK TO WHOEVER MOVES IN!!

Absolutely shocking , no chase ups , no progress or updates for my purchase, no follow up , consequently a £400 k purchase failing at the last minute , not qualified to sell houses correctly, , complete garbage im afraid , cost me thousands in abortive fees , totally lied to & lead down the garden path. We have been extremely impressed with the excellent service provided by Liz and her team at Bridgfords during the selling of our property. We engaged with several Estate Agents prior to inviting Liz along to value our property and she was like a breath of fresh air with her approach and the way she engaged with us. The quality of photography and the brochure produced for our house was superb and the photographer took his time to get perfect images. Once we had decided to progress we were introduced to Amy and she was absolutely marvellous. Unfortunately, i read these reviews quite late and I am in agreement with all the negative opinions about Bridgfords Withington. We tried to buy a flat, but when we told them that we have our own mortgage advisor, the communication stopped. When we tried to get updates, they would try to discourage us to continue. They went on making an offer for our maximum budget, despite only having 1 additional buyer who offered 25k less than us. Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism, especially Richard/ Hammad. I am happy I did not use their services, and I now select properties which are not in their portfolio. Quite sure the seller has received a lower offer as well, which is a shame as the flat was superb. Avoid!

Recently went through a remortgage with Lewis which should have been straight forward but ended up being a little more complicated. A big applause to Bridgfords, especially for Lewis as my favourite mortgage advisor. Our adventure started for buying our first brand new house, using services of another mortgage advisory firm, which indeed seems to be a quite popular one. However, after 10 days of hassle, we asked help from Lewis to save us. He managed to get our AIP from one of the big four banks within less than two days, which the previous firm failed to get in 10 days. From the start until the exchange of contracts, he has always made us feel comfortable, filled with trust. He is a real problem solver with his kind and calm manner, having a win-win approach to the benefit of all parties. He is super communicative and highly responsive. I can’t recommend him enough. He was very professional, efficient, extremely personable and always at the end of the phone if we needed to speak to him (or would ring straight back if he wasn't available). Very happy with sale via Bridgfords Swinton

Very please with the service and result of selling my mother’s house via Bridgfords Swinton. Mike was knowledgeable and efficient. His sale price estimate was 20% higher than another local firm but he managed to achieve it. He also arranged to visit mum in her care home to complete the paperwork. Happy to recommend.
