GoogleMartin Thornton have been great selling our home. It sold within 48 hours of going on the market, we unfortunately lost our buyer but Elisha acted promptly and got it back on the market that same day. We had viewings booked within minutes and it sold again the very next day. We were part of a complicated upwards chain which included a number of houses that were being handled by Martin Thornton. Elisha handled the chain well despite a lot of errors from solicitors and banks. The service was excellent, phone calls and emails answered promptly. Elisha was aware of all updates and would be able to offer advice when needed. Would recommend, especially for local HD3 people wanting to sell their house.

GoogleWe can't recommend Martin Thornton Estate Agents enough. Elisha was brilliant throughout our sale, despite being extremely busy due to the stamp duty cut off. She took on our feedback and was a life saver with her constant chasing of solicitors and our buyer. We asked countless question (many of which were probably a bit stupid!) but she always replied with professionalism and a smile. We saw multiple estate agents before choosing Martin Thornton's and we're sure we made the right choice. No nonsense, friendly, helpful and all with a smile. GoogleMy experience with Martin Thornton and especially the Negotiator Elisha has been amazing! She has been a light in the dark throughout the whole experience. I bought my house through MT and had issues with my own solicitors during this. Elisha was always there, ready to help, constantly pushing the solicitors on both sides for information and to get things done. If I ever choose to sell my property in the future, it will be with MT because if how amazing Elisha was, and I have already recommended MT to my friends because of her help and dedication! Overall, we had a great experience with R&D and we sold our house 10 days after it was put on the market for the price we were looking to get. For those new to the process here are the key points and why we were very happy with the service that R&D provided. The end-to-end sale process consists of the a few phases:- Sale price negotiation. R&D provided an estimate which was slightly below our expectations. Oliver, who was the R&D representative on this stage was very patient, polite and was willing to try our price instead. - Advert preparation. Oliver efficiently organised this part and sent Daniel to take photos and video. Again, I cannot praise more Daniel’s professionalism and attention to details. He simple did an amazing job and all the important feature and details were captured on the photos. - Viewing arrangement, R&D has an army of sales representatives who are available up to 8.30pm in the evening to take viewing requests which was just fantastic. We had a huge demand. NOTE, I chosen to meet and greet all those coming to view the house, and this was very well received, and I would recommend any future seller to consider this. - Post offer acceptance process. At the point when house was put on the market, we were assigned a senior R&D sales representative Claudette who stayed with us till the sale process was fully completed. Claudette acted as a dedicated contact point for our case. She facilitated any communication between us, buyer, and their solicitor. She was providing regular updates on the weekly basis (sometimes even more frequently) and she kept us updated on all related matters. She was always calm, polite and well organised. The end-to-end sale process from the point of offer acceptance to the point-of-sale completion was about 13 weeks. We would like to thanks Oliver, Daniel and Claudette for making the sale process an enjoyable experience.

Cant fault anything with the Halifax branch and can only give 5 stars. The staff have been extremely helpful continually keeping us updated and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would particularly like to thank Rachel, Stacey, Ruth, Holly, Rachel & Ella who all made everything run so smoothly..Can definitely recommend.

From the initial valuation with Martin and throughout the process, with the team and more specifically, Ava they worked to ensure the property sold quickly, with a smooth service throughout. I would happily use them again in the future (though I'm not planning a move anytime soon).

Really great service! Lucy, Sarah and Daniel have been extremely helpful and are very easy to contact. There were some slight issues with the viewing time being late however they were quick to explain why and came down as soon as possible to show us around. Very trustworthy and genuine people would highly recommend.
