GoogleThey absolutley diabolical when they decide to get back to you, I have had several of my own personal belongings go mouldy including my 11 month olds cot and mattress my husbands trainers a suitcase a canvas picture bedding etc we have Windows open on latch at night open fully through day of in, dehumidifier on 12 hrs a day vents always going when cooking washing is dried outside, we have dehumidifiers in wardrobes and around flat and can only use 1 bedroom between 3 of us which is smallest room which includes a bed cot and my sons drawers and wardrobe, I had environmental health out and they said its normal for items to go mouldy hahaha best joke heard all year (I DONT THINK SO) they are useless, alright when they want to take your money, anyway I'm seeking advise from a solicitor !!!!!
Rachel. I am responding on behalf of Lighthouse Estate Agents to the above review. I believe that you reported your concerns about the flat to Ashfield District Council and that an officer attended a meeting along with a member of our team. The council officer clearly pointed out to you that the issues you were experiencing were in fact LIFESTYLE ISSUES WHICH WAS DUE WHOLLY TO YOURSELF AND THE WAY YOU WERE LIVING IN THE PROPERTY. You were not venting correctly or opening windows. The officer instructed a couple of very minor issues that were dealt with. I would also point out that you left the property without the correct procedure and within the six months agreement therefore breaking what is a legally binding document and in respect still owe the remaining rent to take you to November. I haven't heard from your solicitor as yet but look forward in doing so and we could perhaps resolve the situation in full.

GoogleAgents missed appointment after I arranged time from work to be at a viewing, despite of that I arranged another time only to be told not an hour later the property had been let. Agents were evasive unresponsive to emails and calls. One star is too much but its the least I can give.
Hi David, I would have appreciated a call to the office regarding this complaint regarding your viewing on Lowmoor Road as I can see this is historical and dates back to mid April so can't understand as to why you have left your review until now and have not spoken with the office as we have other properties that could have met your needs! In answer to your review we have a policy of phoning every prospective applicant before we attend viewings and if we don't get a response to confirm attendance we cancel the viewing so as not to waste valuable office hours so it is unlikely you confirmed otherwise we would have attended as it is in our interest to let properties. Secondly I have checked all our emails and can see that you confirmed in an email to us that our response emails had gone into your spam box so you had not responded which isn't our fault. We also have a policy of a first come first served basis and the person who has successfully applied had viewed previously and then came along and put an application just prior to your rearranged viewing. This is how all agents work. We are a professional, established agent with an excellent reputation in all areas and do not understand this unfair review.

GoogleHaving recently engaged with Lighthouse Estate Agents I can honestly say that they are an extremely professional and accomplished estate agent, we have rented a property with myself and 2 children and the process has been extremely smooth from initial viewing right up until the collection of our keys, we had a couple of minor issues a month in but these were rectified extremely quickly and efficiently and I would be proud to recommend them to my family and friends for either purchasing or renting in the future and if we are lucky enough to be able to buy in the future I would go nowhere else. GoogleAnne, Simon and Michaela will change your view of Estate Agents- they are absolutely lovely. Helpful, compassionate and caring. As I said- not descriptions normally associated with their profession! They have been helping my brother since May this year. He has complex needs and vulnerabilities but their attitude is accepting, helpful, “can do”. He’s now a week into his tenancy of a small flat they manage; we are both very grateful for all the help and support given by this wonderful team. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thankyou to all, I’m more than impressed.

GoogleGenuinely the best experience I've ever had with a letting agent (I've lived and rented here for 7 years and experienced many different letting agents). They have been friendly, warm, helpful and have worked quickly to help me secure a lovely new house to rent. The property is the best I've seen in the Ashfield area for a while and they've made it a smooth process from start to finish. I've been very busy at work and not able to quickly fulfill a few things on my side of the application process, but they haven't made this an issue. Julie & Sam have looked after the process and are both very personable, not like other letting agents I've experienced who are either a bit cheesy or disinterested. Thanks Lighthouse xxxx
