The Customer service for Winksworth is the best I’ve experienced amongst housing agencies. Ryan, the agent, is a friendly, genuine person. When someone else acquired a double room I desired, Ryan saved my details and a few weeks after offered me another double room before it even went on the market. The property I went to was well-maintained by the company and the agent had a good relationship with all the tenants. Having a neurological condition, Ryan considered my state and tailored a payment plan for me that would allow me to acquire the double room. Overall, I recommend all people to seek Winkworth for their housing needs.

Ryan was extremely helpful and professional during this process. There are a lot of impressive reviews here for Winkworth in Surbiton, i.e. Ben, Nigel & Debbie.... but having just sold our house through them I can easily see why! They really DO DESERVE all these five-star reviews, I'm now sure of that! When posting reviews Google asks "What do you like about this business" and offers four buttons to click; "Good quality", "Good value", "Professional" or "Responsive"..... its just as well you can choose all four if you like because they all apply! 'Why?" you might be wondering, well let me explain.... (1) firstly, they've successfully set a new record price - way above anything else so far in our quite long street - for an ostensibly fairly ordinary looking (from the front anyhow) 3-bed semi with a roof conversion that adds a bedroom and 2nd bathroom! I don't mind giving a few figures (you can look it up anyhow - its public domain).... even with a big rear extension (which ours didn't have) and a garage at the rear (again, which ours didn't have) these have typically sold recently in good condition for around £750k. I always felt our house should be worth a bit more because it has an unusual & very nice balcony - my wife knew everyone would love it but didn't think anyone would pay a lot more for it. Plus there's a very nice outlook which is west facing, down-hill, over open land, and the nearest houses opposite are quite a long way away... again that wasn't expected to add much value, just make it easier to sell.... there were a few other special things too, special to us anyhow, but even so.... Through Winkworth we sold it for £810k! No other local agent would probably even have dared try to get that for us! Even our neighbours are thrilled because its set a new "comparable" and raised the potential value of their houses too - which can help them even just with refinancing, let alone selling... I'm sure our buyers will enjoy living in the house as much as we did (for many, many years by the way), and they certainly haven't made a mistake.... so everyone's happy. (2) Our buyers had a few problems "down the chain" with their own buyers, as they needed to sell so they could buy. As a result there was almost a two month delay, with lots of uncertainty and at times things didn't seem promising to us. Winkworth kept everyone informed and calm, made sure it all "held together" and basically pulled a rabbit out of a hat with this one... except knowing them as we now do, we expect they probably do that sort of thing all the time, but I bet it's way above average and not everyone does it or even can. We were certainly impressed, as well as relieved. (3) There were, inevitably, a few glitches and misunderstandings at times between us and our buyers via our respective solicitors. The Winkworth team were always very diplomatic, as well as helpful, in politely explaining and sorting things out - they definitely earned their money..... (4) Which brings me to my last point.... although in money terms their fee seemed quite a lot to us, as a PERCENTAGE of the sale price they were actually very competitive, and compared to most probably the cheapest! It might seem implausible that the people able to help us achieve the very best sale, smoothly and comfortably, also charged us the smallest fee as a percentage when compared to other agents.... but its true! Even *if* they'd charged us more - but they didn't - the *net proceeds*, i.e. the money we'd got after paying all costs, would still have been a lot more than if we gone with anyone else because Winkworth also achieved a record sale price that nobody else thought possible. Value for money? -- You bet!! YES!!! -- *************************************************************** * So it's smiles all round... 5-stars and a big THANK YOU! * *************************************************************** (sorry if my starry box doesn't work when posted, its not something I'd normally do) Judging from the surprisingly large number of other glowing reviews for this small office on the edge of Surbiton, we're not alone in saying so!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Ben, Nigel and Debbie have been such a help with selling my flat. Not only are they extremely professional and helpful, but incredibly human throughout what is a stressful time for anyone. Ben has been so helpful and kind and bent over backwards to ensure a smooth sale, including helping out with finding a handyman and clearance firm and cleaners. The human touch also meant I felt confident they would ensure my indoor cats were safe during viewings! I cannot recommend Ben Wear and his colleagues at Winkworth in Surbiton enough. Ben initially provided a valuation at the height of the pandemic in April 2020 and then went on to market the property in the August. Although it took two attempts to sell, I cannot fault the time and herculean efforts that were put into getting the sale through.
