Words can't express my gratitude for Ryan and the way he helped me. He was the only estate agent (and I talked to pretty much every single one in Kingston and it's surrounding areas) that expressed confidence that he would help me get a place and that he could get it done. As a single mum who just arrived back to the UK, everything felt foreign she nearly impossible but Ryan made it doable and almost made it easy! He handled my concerns with care and consideration. Trustpilot allows companies and businesses to flag reviews simply because they don’t like them. They’ll then go along with the businesses lies and put the burden of proof and the accusations on the customer. Even when there is clear proof this is going on such as businesses only ever flagging 1 star reviews, never 2,3,4 or 5 star reviews and when the review clearly shows a customer had a bad experience, trustpilot plus the businesses silly games and accuses the customer of picking a random company they didn’t do business with and making up a fake story. Who does that? If it’s done, it’s not common. I doubt people have the time to sit around reviewing companies they never did business with yet trustpilot entertains it. I’ve even tested this and left a 5 star review for a company I never heard of. No issues yet whenever I have a bad experience and leave a bad review, I always get the “add more information because the business is pretending they don’t know you so they can abuse our systems that protect against fake reviews”and “we’ve had to take your review down because the businesses doesn’t think it’s genuine(and it gets a 1 star review removed and allows them to hide dishonest, greedy, behavior). What good is a review site if the companies and businesses being reviewed can mislead the platform into removing the reviews they don’t like in order to hide behavior they don’t want potential new customers to know about? You end up alienating all the customers who have bad experiences and reducing your platform to dishonest businesses and paid for/fake reviews.

I am very disappointed with the service provided by winkworth. We have been out of hot water for two days and counting. We contacted the agency straight away about the issue and they have treated it as a low priority situation and when we asked for the landlord details, they refused to provide these details as it’s fully managed which is fair. However, the agents Ryan West and Debbie Applegarth have done nothing to help us. we have contacted them several times and raised this concern. They have been nothing but unprofessional and condescending towards us and have not addressed the situation. It is unacceptable for us to go without heating and hot water. we have also been complaining about other issues that have been still not been resolved and I must say Ben has been helpful but this is the bare minimum.

I had a great experience with Ryan West from Winkworth renting my current flat! I was searching for months, it was extremely difficult to find the right property and even more difficult to secure it due to the highly competitive landscape. My frustration was huge as my notice period was coming to its end. It was a big relief when Ryan came my way. When I called to view the property I was interested in, which had just came to the market, Ryan booked me a viewing the very same day. When I told him I liked the property he provided guidance for the offer process giving me tips and my offer got accepted the next morning! The paperwork, referencing and contract, was done with the speed of light within 2 days! I did the viewing on Wednesday evening and I had a contract on Friday evening, that was amazing! On top of that he managed to arrange my move in a week’s time doing everything really quickly again. Ryan was very professional throughout the process, very responsive and also empathetic, rare quality to find to people in general let alone letting agents. This was the best renting experience I ever had and I cannot recommend Ryan highly enough.
