I was searching for a rental property in Surbiton for my daughter, and we had a VERY specific set of requirements that many estate agents were struggling to meet - or they they just didn't seem engaged! After speaking with Winkworth Surbiton, they stood out immediately, their customer experience was on an entirely different level, and they delivered on every detail we asked for. From the very first conversation to the final handover, the whole process was smooth, transparent, and exceptionally well‑communicated. There was never a moment where I felt out of the loop or unsure of the next step. Everything was handled with a level of care detail that made everything stress free and effortless. A special mention must go to Ryan, whose professionalism and engagement were outstanding throughout. He made the entire tenancy process incredibly easy, anticipating questions before they arose and ensuring every stage was handled with precision and clarity. TLDR: I strongly recommend Winkworth as a responsive, reliable, friendly and professional agency. We recently rented out our flat as a short-term let while travelling, using the "let and managed" formula, and the experience with Winkworth couldn't have gone any better. Ryan was the main estate agent during this process. While starting up, the fees were very clear, and Ryan's knowledge of the market gave us the confidence to get a good price for what we have. They have up-to-date technology for photographing and floorplan generation, and the expertise to make your place look its best. Ryan presented several high-quality potential tenants to us, and the onboarding process with the selected tenants was very smooth from our end. While we were away, Ryan kept us up to date with anything that was going on, but was well able to handle the day-to-day without overcommunicating. During the 8 month period, 2 landlord inspections were carried out, each accompanied by a full report. As with any let, there were some minor hiccups on the way, but they were swiftly and professionally dealt with. Emails are always promptly replied to. Very highly recommended :) Edit: we also used Winkworth to sell this flat recently, and same excellent service again!

Ryan made the process as painless as possible, he helped me secure my dream flat and I’m very grateful to him for his patience in dealing with my regular phone calls while we were negotiating! Our company sells a herbal mixer used by cannabis smokers to make their smoke smoother. It's a physical product. We received this review which is clearly about another business: "Decent infrastructure tool...If you hate manual DNS configuration, this is great. It's basically just the backend layer, so you'll still need your own email tool, but it saves so much prep work.” We asked for it to be removed and received this reply from Trustpilot: "We’ve now read the review and found nothing to suggest it’s for another business, so we won’t be taking further action.” Bloody muppets!

Debbie and the team used up to date techniques to photograph our property to give a better sense of the place and seemed to truly understand the value of the property without over estimating. From my corporate days, I remember a CxO of a very large IT company telling me that "when all goes well, everyone is good, but you can only see the value of others when they have to deal with real problems". How true... I sincerely think that without the drive and persistence of Debbie, the sale would not have happened. Finding the buyer is the easy part. Ensuring the sale closes is the hard part. We bought our house through Winkworth Surbiton, and Debbie has been very personable, patient and helpful in this process. Throughout the sale, Debbie has kept us regularly updated with information of the sale, and has gone above and beyond to actively liaise with the solicitors to support the conveyancing process to prevent any delays.
