GoogleAs a DIY landlord I was very resistant to using an agent. But with short tenancies and changing regulations I decided to heed the advice of my wife to step back. And what good advice. I hadn't realised that all my hair tearing / headaches were the bread and butter of an agent and H and B are much better at managing these than I am. Pleasant and professional (they seem genuinely nice people, not even remotely sharky), efficient and effective, the reality is I'm freed from the day to day responsibilities. But, and this is important to me as I try to be an ethical landlord, both tenant and landlord get their best interests taken care of. It comes with a cost of course but one I am very happy to pay.
