My friend and I received an excellent service from Humphrey and Brand, where all staff members went above and beyond to help us find the perfect property. After being shown rental properties way out of our budget from another estate agents, Stephen from Humphrey and Brand showed us 3 properties that fully met our requirements on our first viewing. We put an offer in on two of them and were accepted for the flat we now live in. From finding the perfect flat to having our offer accepted - this all happened really quickly and we were very grateful that all the team went out of their way to provide the best service they could. We have now been living at our flat for 2 months and the excellent service has continued. We actually felt guilty when we found a the keeper property but it was listed with another agent. My wife and I have a few properties that Humphrey and Brand have been letting for a good number of years. We are most delighted with the first class service we have been receiving from the agency over the years and consequently have recommended them to many of our family and friends who have also become happy clients of theml We have known Lisa and Laura, the partners of the company for more than 10 years going back to when they were working in a large corporate estate agency firm. After they left to help a new estate agency with their buy-to-let set up we started having most terrible experience with the agency, but were very lucky to find them quickly in their new place! They then moved on and started their own successful estate agency and like many other satisfied clients we kept following them too! In our experience, we have found everyone in H&B without exception to be most helpful, friendly, caring and professional. It is evident that they enjoy and take pride in their work and this benefits all the customers, whether tenants, landlords, vendors or buyers. Having begun to house-hunt in November 2014 with various other estate agents (and having no luck due to pushy agents showing us properties way out of our price range) we decided to look a little further afield. Walking through Surbiton on a Sunday, we were immediately drawn to Humphrey and Brands interactive display board (we're suckers for technology) and very quickly found a fews places we liked the look of. We filled in our contact details and within a matter of days we viewed the place, and within weeks we have moved in. We rented out a 2 bedroom flat in Kingston via the agency and quite simply the service has been exemplary since the very beginning. In particular as a tenant I am very pleased with the maintenance management aspect where any issues we faced at the property was dealt with in a swift, fair and professional manner in particular by Karen Wheeler. Communication is always constant until resolution between us and the landlord via Karen who looks for the best solution for all parties which is very fair. After a lot of work trying to find a suitable Estate Agent to sell my house it was a breath of fresh air to find Humphrey and Brand. I found them professional, enthusiastic and they spoke in language I could understand. Their approach was one of honesty even if it was not particularly in their favour. We initially contated Humphrey and Brand based on a friends recommendation and we haven’t looked back since. Right from the very start Laura, one of the partners, met with us and talked us through all of the information we needed. We were very impressed by her professionalism and her honesty and it didn’t take us long to know that this was the agency for us. Over a year later we continue to be hugely impressed with Humphrey and Brands continuing professionalism and efficiency. We are overseas landlords and therefore need to feel fully confident that our property is being managed and looked after. Karen, our main contact is always helpful, friendly and efficient and we are very lucky to have her! She is in regular contact with us via email or phone and always keeps us up to date regarding any issues to do with the flat. We are very pleased with the contractors that have been bought in by Karen to do various bits of necessary work. Although we are not in the country, we have great peace of mind knowing that our property is in very good hands.
