GoogleThis is now the second time I have used FL and have just completed on the sale of a house through them. Despite all of the disruption caused by the fourth wave of the pandemic they were able to source a buyer on first viewing. They delivered yet again. Featherstone Leigh achieved more in one day through the sale of my property than another very well known competitor was able to do in 3 months. Excellent service, no hassle. I highly recommend them.

GoogleWe recently sold our house through Featherstone Leigh, dealing primarily with Charley. If there was an option to rate them 6 stars I would! Charley (and indeed every member of the team) was friendly, polite, knowledgable, helpful and professional at all times. A real pleasure to deal with. We sold our house some 4 months before finding a property to purchase and it is only because of Charley that our buyers were kept happy enough to wait for the chain to be complete. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Featherstone Leigh and would very happily work with them again.

THIS REVIEW RELATES TO FEATHERSTONE-LEE,15 SHEEN ROAD SALES BRANCH, AND THE LAZY ATTEMPT TO SELL MY 41 YEAR LEASE GARDEN FLAT ON RICHMOND HILL. DECEMBER 21 TO MAY 2022. IT TOOK 3 DAYS TO VIEW, APPRAISE AND PHOTOGRAPH. 4 MORE DAYS TO REALIZE HE HAD ADDED A BEDROOM AND £100,000. 2 MONTHS TO MOUNT ON RIGHTMOVE. THE FIRST VIEWEE WAS GIVEN THE HIGH PRICE AND TOLD IT WAS FREEHOLD. SUBSEQUENT NEGOTIATIONS WITH THAT PARTY SEEMED TO FIZZLE OUT. AT ONE STAGE, THE MANAGER TOLD ME THERE HAD BEEN ABOUT 12 ENQUIRIES BUT OFFICE STAFF SAID NONE ACCORDING TO RECORDS. OTHER VIEWINGS TOOK PLACE. I HAD TO CALL TO FIND OUT IF THEY HAD FINISHED ANY VIEWING SO I COULD RETURN HOME. ONE TIME I CALLED ON A SATURDAY, STAFF SAID VIEWEE CANCELLED THEN SAID DIDN'T TURN UP, THEN SAID BOTH AGAIN BUT THE OTHER WAY AROUND BECAUSE IT SEEMED TO SOUND BETTER. ALSO SAID IT WAS A VIEWING OF A DIFFERENT STAFF MEMBER BUT WHEN I ASKED HIM HE SAID HE KNEW NOTHING OF IT (AND HE I BELIEVE) NEVER WAS I CALLED WITH UPDATES OR IDEAS TO CHANGE STRATEGY. I NEEDED TO GO INTO OFFICE TO FIND ANY INFO AND NORMALLY FOUND ONLY 1, 2, 3 STAFF. THE OTHERS WERE SAID TO BE ON DAYS OFF OR 4 DAY WEEKEND OR JAMAICA OR ITALY. OF TEN CALLS WITH THE MANAGER (YOU CAN CALL ME ANY TIME), ONLY 3 CONNECTED. THIS BRANCH MAY INDEED BE ABLE TO HANDLE PROPERTIES THAT SELL THEMSELVES BUT MINE REQUIRED SOME EXTRA WHICH APPARENTLY WAS UNIMAGINABLE. THERE WAS MORE BUT ENOUGH SAID. I WITHDREW.

GoogleWe purchased our first home through Featherstone Leigh just recently. We obviously don't have anything to compare with, but from our perspective everything went really smoothly, from the first viewing (where we were shown around by a lovely young man called Stephen who was enthusiastic without being over-bearing) all through to completion. Featherstone Leigh were always quick in passing on any questions we had and getting answers. They also provided prompting which was helpful whenever we'd forgotten to do something, or if our solicitor was being slow. We were mostly in the hands of Matthew Aboud, who was great. Very professional, very responsive and nicely enthusiastic when it became clear things were going well. All this meant we completed in good time and are now very much enjoying our first home. We would highly recommend this company for the overall experience.

Very disappointing experience. They over promise and under deliver. We had been warned that they sometimes send the "lady from the Richmond office" Sophie, who will tell a great story of how awful other agents are and how she will be available whenever needed. When I said other agents had heard this before, and she just disappeared, she told me she had been furloughed. What was her excuse this time? After hounding us daily to leave the other estate agent, she ghosted us once it was done. As for the others. Had to email Matt the assistant director several times to correct the spelling of our housing details. Communication was terrible. We were told of some viewings after the event. We had felt that the agent was working for our buyer not us, but having spoken to her, sounds like he was pretty poor there too. We sold the house, yes, but for less than the agent has suggested. Glad it's over. It is galling to think how much they earned, given the low quality of the little they did

GoogleUnfortunately I have been a tenant in a property managed by Feathertstone Leigh for 2 years and I have had errors and non-responsiveness nearly every time I have been in touch with them. If they are not getting a fee from the process they will to the utmost to not respond to you, having to chase them numerous times for each issue. Engineers turning up unannounced (during coronavirus, too), and then when contacted to let them know they would put the blame on the engineer. When originally signing contracts with them, they sent our documentation to two other people on two separate occasions. Constant spelling errors in contracts. When we left the property we were told to leave the keys in the office and the letting agents would contact the new tenants to arrange them collecting them the next day however I then had the new tenants contact me as they had received no contact from FL and were worried about how to access the property as their office had closed for the evening. The next day when they moved in FL gave them the incorrect keys twice. These are only a few of the many issues I have encountered and with them. They have consistently been so unprofessional and having lived in numerous rented properties this is the worst experience I have ever had with a letting agent. If you are a landlord and looking for someone to manage your property horrendously and never respond to your tenants then look no further.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Highly recommend as a letting agents, laura and Penelope are superstars to deal with ,great advice, very professional, very friendly and a real pleasure to do business with .Very prompt on the phone ,answering all my queries and worries and really felt they had my best interests at heart. Always managed to get a new tenant in a very quick turn round time .I look forward to dealing with them for years to come.

GoogleI can only but recommend the staff of Featherstone Leigh in Kingston-upon-Thames. I was looking for an apartment in Kingston and the nearby area and everything went smoothly and quickly with the help of Rachel and other members of the staff. They use digital processes for signing papers and it saves you a lot of time. There happened to be an emergency issue with a lock once, so even if the apartment was managed by the owner who was unreachable at the moment, Rachel and her colleague came immediately for help and organised the rescue. Thank you for your job and keep it steady!
