GoogleAwful agency. We have been trying to view a property for a month now. Usually they don’t answer the phone/reply to emails but this week they have failed to show up for viewings twice (cancelling via email 40 minutes before). We are going to contact the seller directly. Do not sell your house with this agency, we are finding it impossible to even view never mind buy anything, house has been on the market for a long time now, reason being OPA won’t show it to anyone! No response via email or phone. Email attached was a cancellation when we were already there, didn’t show up the next day either.

Have recently completed on investment property with OPA. We were very nervous as this was our first investment property. Will definitely use OPA again. GoogleCurchods helped me purchase a property on Tudor Drive Kingston. I'd been looking for a house for a year and a half and had two purchases fall through with other agents. By the time I found this house I was living in the Premier Inn (having already sold my previous house) and really needed it to go through! Throughout the process I dealt with Al. I found him helpful, honest, friendly and easy to talk to. On the occasions Al wasn't free to talk to me, I found his colleagues including Joe, Marilyn and Scott extremely helpful and happy to pick up any enquiries for me. My experience of Curchods was significantly better then the two other local agents I used for my failed purchases one of whom was dishonest, and the other (a well know local agent) rude. There seem to be so many cowboys in the property industry that finding an honest and decent firm like Curchods is a real pleasure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Al and the team. A*

GoogleI chose Curchods Ham branch as they were local, I was expecting a friendly local service I got so much more! The sale started in December 2019, a purchaser was found in at the end of January 2020. All handled very well, it was good to know that I was dealing with a very professional team then Covid-19 too hold! What I imagined to be a hurdle too high was in fact not a problem for the team at Curchods, I must stress I felt it was a team effort with everyone being kept updated, as I live in France this was very important to me. The sale was finally completed in June 2020, I have nothing but praise for the way this was handled, I shall even miss chatting with John, Marilyn and Al. Having sold and purchased several properties these were the best estate agents I have ever encountered. In a normally stressfull time, which in these covid-19 times became a little difficult, it was a great relief having Curchods on my side, WELL DONE ALL.

GoogleI'm surprised I need to collect the key from the agent's office instead meet up at the new house. since all my friends received greeting from an agent at new house unfortunately not my case. I went to my new house the next day after collected the key. When I opened the door, there's a strong urine smell, since the previous vendor did not remove the dog and the pet's toilet rack and their used blanket, and there are 3 packs of rubbish bags with worms around in the house. there's also some unfinished drink right behind the room door, when I open the room door, soft drink liquid splashes everywhere. Anyway. I'm kind of disappointed with what I experienced on my completion date. I expect the property agent should have a responsibility to ensure the house pass to the new owner, should be in a clear and normal empty house but not messy. The reason why I turned up at 9am on the completion date because I communicated with your team 3-4 weeks ahead regarding the date for the survey booking and the time start from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Your team replied "no problem", that's why I proceed with the booking on surveyor service. When the date came, I email and call to confirm the date for the surveyor's visit, the agent said NO the day before at 6pm, and the surveyor team has booked a hotel in Kingston to get ready for tomorrow’s service. I strongly believe it's a communication problem.
Thank you for taking a time to leave a review. I would say that the practicalities of agents handing over keys on completion are extremely difficult, especially at present. We have 4 completions tomorrow and 7 on Friday and unfortunately we cannot possibly be at all these properties waiting for new buyers to arrive. In relation to your purchase, I think you can say the vendor left in a hurry as they felt pressured to leave when you turned up at 9am with two architects when they were trying to pack up their belongings. I feel sure the property would have been cleaned more thoroughly had the vendor been given the appropriate time to vacate their large family home. It is the client's responsibility to present the property fit for handover, not the agent. We have no control or jurisdiction over that. We worked hard to get the sale completed for you and I feel your frustration at the seller has been wrongly directed at us with this review.

Mr Adam Taylor changed that in an instance, he was incredibly tentative, helpful and professional with my tight schedule and complex situation.
